Danganronpa 2:Goodbye Despair. Interesting game, cool story and murder cases, but too much fanservice.

I know what you mean. I played Fallout 3 until I was blue in the face and was frustrated with other games that weren't open world "enough" - By Skyrim totally burned me out. Barely scratched the surface with that one and, shamefully, same with Fallout 4.
Totally. It used to be I would see a new open world game coming out and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it, and now when I see that a game is open world I sort of sigh and think, "eh, maybe later". I just can't drag myself into many more games like that any more.
Skyrim... whew, yeah. I've started that game so many times and just get burned out before I get very far. It's probably because I'm sort of obsessive about getting every item, reading (skimming) every book, doing EVERYTHING and I wear myself out. Maybe I should ignore all of that stuff, but it's there! It's there and I can't, haha. So I get tired out quickly.
I loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but sadly have no real interest in getting Fallout 4. I did want it and when it was announced I couldn't wait for it to come out, but sometime during that waiting period I got open world fatigue and that was that.

Dying Light.
Not bad. I mean I like the way it looks and all.
Combat is pretty imprecise. Quests are thus far just "go here, do that", and I find that nearly every place I need to go to, building etc, it's always just annoying to work your way around it and access it. Turn this on. Open that. Blah. Makes me bored.
I mean I kind of like this game, so I'll keep at it for a while...but I've found myself getting annoyed by it a bit more than I'd ideally like.

Thats ps1era for you. Yeah I have fond memories of this one and the sequel. Don't think I finished either though.
Another good title for ps1 that you might like, though less outrightly horror, is "Medieval". Very fun.
I'm still on dying light. Seems the best way to kill an actual person right now is by burning them alive. I see.

Still on "Dying Light".
Ok, so...it's got better. Still a fairly difficult game. But you learn. Increasing your skills and abilities definitely helps out with some of the trickier, grindier missions. Still not the best zombie related game (doesn't exist yet if you ask me) but I'm no longer on the verge of quitting.

Dying Light
Im a bit disappointed so far, the zombies are proper tough to kill and scavenging for stuff doesn't give you enough reward. Not too sure how much time I can be bothered to put into this one.
I would just like a proper open world zombie survival game. No missions or objectives or anything like that, just plain survival against the undead and the living.

I have just finished Dying Light.
It *does* get better with weapons and upgrades etc, in terms of the combat.
But to be honest I found it very grindy, and the storyline was just not great...I found it difficult to invest in this game.
Now that I've finished, I might be tempted at some point to play the sequal/expansion, but yeah overall my thoughts weren't great.
I just put on "Until Dawn", which I thought looked amazing.
Though...I'm just not feeling it. Might be something I'd have watched as a horror movie a whiles back, but thus far (very early going though) it's just not what I'm looking for in a game.
I mean I've played "Obscure", I've played "Heavy Rain" and figured this one would fall somewhere between the two...but yeah...I find myself not caring, not intrigued at all. I haven't even seen any *action* in the game really. So far I'm just a bunch of people walking around a snowy cabin place.
Too much talk. Too much emphasis on "choices" when it's not really at an important part of the game as yet.
I'm a little disappointed. I remember when I first saw/heard about this game, I like REALLY wanted to play it.
I'm not at "turning off" stage yet, but I can't say I know when I'll turn it on again.
I might try "The Division" instead for now. Another one I've yet to play.

It really had potential to be a really great game due to the settings and an amazing soundtrack. Sadly, it lacks some important aspects, such as, variation in missions (yes, a lot of kill him, destroy that missions) and mostly a reason to earn money. You got nothing to spend Them on, which totally sucks, imo.

Great setting. Good characters and storyline. Fantastic soundtrack and fun gameplay.
Unfortunately it's somewhat repetitive in terms of the missions and sometimes the graphics can become wonky. Still a fun game though, I recommend playing it if you enjoy open world crime games.

Gonna try to finish off Mafia 3 and then move onto Rise of the Tomb Raider and then hopefully sometime after that I'm gonna revisit two of my favourite games ever with the Batman Return to Arkham collection.
Considering it's close to Halloween, I wanna also throw in a playthrough of a horror game.
Either The Walking Dead Season 1 (The telltale game one, played it before but liked it)
OR Outlast (never played)
Which do you guys recommend?
Playing any scary games this Halloween?

Looked forward to it quite a bit...not engaging to me at all.
Didn't care for or about the characters.
Wasn't interested by the "mystery".
Got to the "saw them in half" scene, which I was almost certain would be a turning point for me. Just did not care.
It was pretty much an interactive movie...and to me at least, QuanticDream did something similar to better effect (albeit thriller vs horror) more than half a decade ago.

I've been thinking about revisiting the "Saw" games.
I got a bit more than half way in the first, and really only just had a look at the second.
I found the storylines evoked the franchise quite well. The environments games were dirty and dreary as you'd expect and I found the first one to be quite atmospheric.
I always wanted to finish it and properly play through the second one...just that the first one was full of those damn pipeline puzzles, and it just seemed to me like a bit more variety would have worked rather than just one type of recurring puzzle that got harder and harder with less and less time.
I actually quit because of this.
If I track them down again, I will post about it I suppose.
I've also been playing a bit of "DUCK GAME" with my brother.
It's a bit like super smash bros I guess?

Doom(4)
I feel like, I haven't become all that judgmental of games...but it honestly seems to me that in the last 5-10 years, the range of FPS games outside the COD/Battlefield formula just seem to be very hit and miss.
I mean I liked the Resistance series, I enjoyed Singularity, and really LOVED Bulletstorm. Those are recent enough I suppose.
Then there's just so many that I...do not feel at all.
Sadly, DOOM is one of these.
I was just not enthralled. Looks like a bit of an ugly game too.
Enemy design was just...meh...and while I can see they're going for "frantically run around and use the environment to add dimension to your combat", I never felt any real sense of urgency. Not much of any kind of storyline to speak of...to the point I played it anyway...The music seemed pretty uninspired given the series history.
Something about it just doesn't "feel" right.
So I played for about a half hour. Turned it off. I think I'll be giving this away.
I dunno...maybe I just have less time these days so if something doesn't immediately suck me in, it's very easy to put down.

Amazing facial graphics, voice acting and general body actions in the many cut scenes (it's the smallest details) makes all the characters human and interesting, and the story/gameplay doesn't let you catch your breath. You have to force yourself to save the game and take a break.
I could do without all the shooting, but thankfully there's actually an option to just focus on the adventure part which makes you immune to bullets.

Been playing through "God of War", the PS3 re-release of 1&2.
I don't know if I've mentioned this in here, but GOW was one of my favourite games.
It was a bit linear, but the scale, the story, the violence, the interesting combat and magic system, the level design...all made for a damn great modern slash/beat em up.
I played the second one, and being impatient as I am, a level managed to piss me off and I quit after less than a few tries. (It was like some wall of fire coming towards you with limited cover as I recall). Ever since I've wanted to play the OTHER sequels which look great...now with this NEW one coming out...I have to throw myself back into it.
It's fun. Still frustrating. Great challenge level for a game of this type. Awesome music too.

"Mount & Blade: Warband" ps4
Graphics wise this game looked dated already in 2010 when it came out on pc and sadly the developers didn't manage to turn it into a console game very well in 2016, as the fighting techniques are impossible to master using a controller and not a mouse. That being said, who gives a fuck about fighting skills when you can have others fighting for you! It's incredibly satisfying gathering heroes and slowly building a bigger and stronger army to fight your battles and using this army as you like, either joining a faction or taking over the kingdom all on your own. You can do whatever you like as there's no clear direction or story. Mount & Blade can best be describe as a "Risk" based rpg. I believe I've been playing this game for way over 50 hours and I'm not even halfway throug it.
"Horizon Zero Dawn" ps4
Holy hell is this game huge!!
If I hadn't already played Far Cry Primal and Witcher 3 I would probably rate this a 10/10 game. But as it feels like a rip off of several other games, that I've played, will probably drag down my final rating a point or two. But it certainly is a good game and sure is beautiful.

Sure, didn't the Witcher only use a sword? I'm a melee guy myself, so for me that was perfect. In Horizon tho range attacks and laying traps was a necessity to win certain battles and I totally suck at that. I'm really not a stealth kind of gamer as i lack the patience, so preparing before a fight is really not my style. It actually doesn't cross my mind to do so before jumping into the fire. So when I'm in a battle that takes a lot of skills my mind tends to go blank and I can only do hack & slash, which is totally frustrating in this game as you can't upgrade your spear, only everything else.
Actually a have a lot of frustrating issues with this tripple A game that I will mention as soon as I've beaten it. So... to be continued.

I was actually playing Witcher 3 before i played this so the change in fighting was very noticeable to me. I loved the fighting in The Witcher and don't think theres anything wrong with it. In fact i probably had more fun with Witcher. Horizon wins points with its ingenuity plus i enjoy stealth fighting.
I used the traps later on for big battles but sometimes it just felt so tedious and i just wanted to get into the action. I didnt like that you couldnt upgrade your spear either. It made it really frustrating when they would get up close to you and you were basically forced to run away and regroup.

Not very far into it at the moment...but, a very nice looking game.
As per usual very dialogue driven, with great voice acting and a nice musical score.
I'm quite enjoying that (at least for now) the two main characters really don't like each other very much at all.
Can't really rate the gameplay or action yet, but, it seems thus far to be what one would expect from an Uncharted game.

Got through Wolfenstein: The New Colossus...little disappointing a way to end on top of a rush fight rather than a boss fight.
I'll hope now there's actually another sequel to finish this off as a trilogy.
Overall pretty solid title. No complaints really, just that the end didn't feel like one.
I've put on Yooka-Laylee.
I love the oldskool 2d/3d platformers. Love them. Though I find this one lacking in spirit, it's juse not very fun. Sure it looks shiny it's just not very inspired.
Also continuing to play Telltale "The Walking Dead: A new Frontier".
I like the storyline enough, your main character is fairly affable, the conflict/s are yknow, interesting enough.
Of course it's cool seeing Clementine again, having seen her "grow up" through these titles.
More of the same really. It's not like you're really playing a game, it's a polished "choose your own adventure" that feels solidly at home and a part of the Walking Dead universe.
If you've played any other telltale games, or any of the quanticdream games and you like the walking dead, or even zombie stories in general, then it's worth picking up this series.

Finished with TWD, thoughts largely summed up in my previous post. Not my favourite of the series, but solid, entertaining and leaves things in a good place for the final installment.
Yooka Laylee on the other hand I've just given up on.
I've played 64 bit era platformers, I know what they were trying to do, and I know they failed. It's not a fun game, like, at all.
It's boring.
It's annoying and finicky to control - Your characters are actually quite sluggish and some things require a level of maneuverability that they just do not have...many times obstacles and moving hazards came down to retrying and luck.
Colourful, bright, cutesy? Sure.
Overly repetitive music.
I honestly don't even think this game would have succeeded inside the era it was trying to emulate.
I'd feel hard pressed to give this any more than a 3/10 for gameplay, maybe 8/10 visually...but that really isn't enough to carry it.
Going to try CODWW2 next.

It is a good game compared to 2K 18 but considering there are small things that the fans have been asking them to fix for years that they are still ignoring made me decide to get a refund on the pre-order and cents they had it where you could play the game four days early if you pre-ordered it, I wasn't all that impressed for spending $90. Still kind of stuck half way through the re-release of Shenmue.
Love the game...but it's one that's a real fucking grind on the replay, so much wandering back and forth, talking, and WAITING.
I still enjoy the story, and I wanted to play through these to keep it fresh for when the third title finally comes out, but...to be honest if things don't pick up or I don't start putting a bit more effort in, I think I might end up just watching through a playthrough for that to gear me up.
I'm also gearing up to play through the complete edition of "Alien: Isolation".
The first time, I played it on a PC that ran it...problematically...kind of threw off the atmosphere at times, though I will say this - if you haven't played it, and are a fan of the ALIEN franchise, it is the best thing they have ever come out with.

Well...started Alien: Isolation again.
It sure looks better on the 4K and the PS4 runs it smoothly.
I have to say, this fucking game...it gets atmosphere right, doesn't it?
For fucks sake...even before encountering anything, anyone...just being in this game, even prior to anything going screwy...it feels so damn tense, and it's just about uncomfortable enough to make you feel like you're walking through a mild panic attack.
Even the ambient ship/operational sounds evokes perfectly the feeling of being surrounded by space, claustrophobic.
It sets up a well done storyline, and feels exactly like it should. Kind of like the first alien film with some slightly newer looking ships and a larger scale. The interior of the ship almost feels nostalgic to the original movie when you're just walking around the initial scenes of the game.
Between the AI Alien, an actual storyline, the overall aesthetic and feel of the game, good pacing and challenge level accompanied by a very intelligently used score...this is to me, by no short led, THE best gaming experience ever based on ANY part of the ALIEN/S universe.
I would love to see another.
I would love to see the same team @ Sega take a swing at their vision of "colonial marines".
Gaddamn, this time I'm playing it I'm almost amplifying the experience by worrying about how scared I'm *going to* be.
Horror games just don't come this good, folks...not often and really not up at this level.
It does the film franchise, the fans and the gamers absolute justice.
Play this game already if you haven't people. It's at STUPID low prices.

I have to say...since Mario 64, I don't really think many of the 3d mario games (sunshine, galaxy, odyssey) have really been as good...sure, they look better, but there's always been this gimmickry that isn't really needed in my mind...like your spray gun, spherical "worlds", the hat thing), for me, it just takes the games further away from what in my mind, Mario 64 perfected.
I don't count Luigis mansion...because I thought that was actually quite a competent standalone game that had a tenuous connection at most.
Also been playing the "new super mario bros U" re-release on the switch.
A lot more fun.
That's one thing I like about Nintendo, aside from their penchant for gimmickry...they seem to appreciate that they have a new audience, and an old one...and their mascot Mario has always played into that - as long as there has been 3d Mario games, there's always been one 2d game or another.
This one's fun. Difficult. Infuriating, but fun.
My girl is learning her platforming basics on this game.
Right now I'm thinking I'll try "For Honour".

Started a bit of Bio-Shock 2.
I remember this one wasn't much of a standout to me.
I didn't like walking around in the clunky suit, and I'd have rather seen other places related to, or like Rapture, rather than just being in the same place after slightly more time had passed - feels more like an expansion/DLC because of this.
I'll play through slowly between other games.
Last night I turned on "Detroit: Become Human" for the first time.
Great looking game...though it's more of a "cinematic experience" much like all the other QuanticDream games.
Seems like an easy thing to play/watch through.
Entertaining. Good voice work. AMAZING music.
I'm also going to be having a look at HELLBLADE: Senuas Sacrifice tonight, I have planned on playing an hour per day, so that I can play it through "with" a friend and we can do the whole "before the internet" style talking about a game that's new to both of us. Looking forward to it.

Beautiful looking, and very weird. If you're after something truly unique, have a look. Puts you in a bit of a state though.

It was a bit of both, but yeah it didn't help.
The narrative seems to be told through "voices in your head", one seems to talk more about the character, one talks to the character and another seems to address you as the player...and they all talk to each other, having a conversation about the now and then of the game...
That, and various whispers and other effects are employed that were literally designed to show you what some mental illnesses are like...as your character is losing their sanity.
Played a bit more last night, in a *slightly* clearer frame of mind.
Was especially hard the first time as the "stage" I was playing had a lot of illusion and perspective based puzzles which I hadn't even originally picked up on...lots of walking around and exploring...I got past it last night, and a particularly savage boss fight.
Good game. I mean I'm not enjoying it quite as much as I did their last game I played "Enslaved", but it's hard not to admire this one on artistic merit too.

This one's single player.
I play better high when it's a familiar game or one I've already kind of become adept at playing...when I'm this way, I find I can almost click onto an auto-pilot mode with a lot of games.
Though mainly shooters etc, easier to immerse I find.
If it's an RPG or anything where I have to like, say...remember things...talk to people, do side quests etc? Can't do it.

http://horror.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65942
I'm still waiting on all the extras though. I think Bloodstained and other games might mark the end of big video game Kickstarter projects. Honestly, they should not have happened to begin with. Too many fanboys out there who get overly hyped about being able to possibly influence projects and give out money without interest or guarantee from companies.
Some of these projects fall through and changes occur that shouldn't happen. Simple things like stuff that was supposed to be exclusive no longer is and is made available for purchase. People thought they were getting a slipcase but are now receiving sleeve cases. I'm sure in the Kickstarter terms there is probably something that lets companies off for poor management or not even finishing a project. I haven't come across many class action lawsuits because of Kickstarters gone wrong and nothing to show for the money.
Still calling items that people put money down for, basically pre-ordering items, and calling them "goodies or rewards" to most likely legally get out of producing those things if the project is poorly managed is going to stop. Same with calling people who are investing in your project simple "backers" so they don't have the power of an actual investor.

I only sometimes gamble. You need to be very careful and enjoy even small wins and finish the game in time.::wink::
You can get bonuses here https://casinobeavers.com when making a deposit. I usually play Wazamba and Lucky Days casinos. At least there are definitely no problems with the withdrawal of money. Graphics are nice, monsters are cool, overall story is interesting.
What Is NOT nice, cool or interesting are most of the quests, which mainly consists of you being an errand boy going one place to talk to this person and then going to another place to talk to another and so on. That’s what takes up far most of your time in Greedfall. You running arround on the map talking to people or fetch stuff for some. Riveting..

Star Wars: Fallen Order.
I wanted to like it.
It looks amazing. The sounds are just right. The musical score is insanely good. The weather effects are really cool and I'm thus far enjoying the storyline.
I'm on the second "world".
Though tbh the game is annoying.
Your character is quite stiff - Uncharted did the running/balancing/jumping/climbing thing in a much more user friendly, better looking and effective way.
The combat is...not great...like true, you get more moves etc so maybe I'm pre-judging that factor just a little bit.
Fighting storm troopers and deflecting laser shots into them is fairly cool...but it's the fights that just come across as quite basic.
They put some godaweful giant frog boss type thing WAY too early in the game when you're at your weakest...and I got to die about 15 times before beating it...of course it was after that I discovered you didn't have to.
The worlds LOOK good but the level design is pretty horrible...the MAP they show you through the robot thing is not really helpful at all. I'm literally on a level where I have to put big spheres in places on the floor...and now that's all done I don't know what the fuck I'm supposed to be doing...where I'm supposed to be going...and I have been just wondering around like an asshole for about an hour and a half of play time since. It's annoying.
Honestly, I really want to like this game...but if it doesn't show signs of improvement I think I'm gonna have to ditch it...not because it's too difficult (though some people would DEFINITELY say that) but because it's a Star Wars game, and I'm finding myself nothing but annoyed and bored.
We shall see. Don't like the odds of bothering with this.

I'm going to try or get Fallen Order when it's cheap. I really don't like paying full price for EA games. I don't think I've ever played a really good EA game. I watched a few gameplay videos and heard good things about Fallen Order though.
I did like Shadows of the Empire on N64. But I believe I rented it either because I didn't have enough money to own it. Or I wasn't sure about the quality of the game back then. I don't think I own it. But I know I own the book and soundtrack.
I might get the mini arcade for the old Star Wars arcade game that includes Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. I saw a leaked image of a larger sitdown version. Not quite the old arcade cockpit but I might be able to look around that since it has the trilogy of games.

Never heard of those. I want to play the role playing games though I believe called Knights of the Old Republic. I heard the first one was good. But it came out on the original Xbox and I couldn't trust that system. Mine was scratching the odd disc and it didn't make sense to continue buying and playing games or movies on the system with Microsoft not admitting the problem. In which they decided to cheap out and not cushion the disc drive. It didn't surprise me at all that the Xbox 360 was even worse.

Borderlands 3 -- too many gun drops. You get like 4 gold gun drops every mission. Too much stuff, it's not special and too much work sorting through all of it. I'm still playing some BD2, as friends prefer it to BD3.
Civ 5 -- I shouldn't have started on the regular difficulty setting. It's too easy and no challenge. I have all the Wonders and will have all I'm eligible for. I could easily wipeout the other civs, but I'm trying to learn the game still. Probably will go on to the end, likely cultural victory, unless I get too bored and go military. It's too bad Civ doesn't hire a guy who can make the military AI good.

What was the Civ 5 game you didn't finish? map size, difficulty
I'm sticking to small maps, as I learned my lesson trying to play in a big world one time... take ya a year to finish.
Civ 5 seems to really hit on the Culture and Specialist aspect a lot more. It makes cities better able to defend themselves, but that doesn't change the game that much regarding the AI. In past Civs, if you invaded an AI, all the units would run to a city, instead of tying to out maneuver you, or make any real attempt at beating you in your territory.
In my one Civ 5 war, a Civ attacked me. I wasn't impressed by the strategy. The AI didn't go for the Iron resources, so I'm assuming the AI hasn't gotten at all more strategic. When I invaded their territory, they basically just ran into their cities.
Problem with Civ is the AI military ability is much worse than it should be. I've seen some decent world-war AI in other games, like TripleA. Since the Civ AI is so bad, the increase in difficulty just gives the AI civs a ton more (typically) Science, Gold and Production, so you'll always be way behind, never get a Wonder, and it forces you to try to win militarily. The only way to dabble in the other Victory tactics is to play another human(s). I've never tried playing another or group in Civ, seems like it would take a million years.

I must say I'm not an avid player. Scares are always subjective. The game itself is quite simplistic and there are few puzzles to solve during the playthrough. Some are slightly complex and it can get monotonous after a while... Graphics is average, I guess. Some characters are quite creepy, while some are just plain. If there's one thing to say about Home Sweet Home, it's that there's a pretty good attention to atmosphere. It's dark and haunting. I liked this game at the beginning, it gave me the creeps... but as the game went on, it became a little bit bland. ::wink::

Absolutely beautiful to look at and the The first hour was a perfect blend of gameplay and movie scenes. Then the open world part begins and the game takes a nosedive in entertainment and diversity. Still beautiful, but all the “side missions” are just you getting more scrap for upgrades that doesn’t make too much of a difference, instead of you finding more useful items.
And I’m sure all fans of the first game agrees that the developers made one HUGE mistake. 😡

Rainbow Six Siege:
I tried playing some with my nephew... him showing me how to play, and then watching each other take a turn playing with online players. Cool game. Five-vs-five hostage rescue, bomb defuse, type of games (like Counter-strike and hostage/bomb defuse in Call of Duty games).
The newer features of this game is destructible walls and floors, adding a more realistic aspect. Also has a lot more tech features, like video cameras, seeing through walls. One item analyses thermal footsteps and then displays where that enemy is. Also, a character can wound an enemy, "interrogate" him, and then displays where all the enemy team members are.
A PC gamer like me will take a long time to get decent at it, that is trying to aim with the thumb joystick (analog stick) (rather than keyboard/mouse)… not to mention using a controller for everything else as well, shooting, moving etc. I've played a lot of this mode type in Call of Duty games.
Whereas I was fairly useless to my team (and one guy entered a vote to kick me after my first round), I was able to share some strategy advice to my nephew, particularly when to use a cooked or stun/flash bang grenade.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night:
Just started playing this modern-day scroller, in the Castlevania mode. Again, getting used to using a controller with this.
It's ok so far. I really enjoyed the old Duke Nukem side scrollers 30 years ago, and enjoyed playing Castlevania on Nintendo 20 years ago. But where I might replay a Duke emulator (or Zelda/Nintendo), after playing Castlevania once, I'm not interested in replaying it.
After a few death's fighting the first level's boat boss, I looked up how to beat it on youtube. I'd normally want to figure it out myself, but I wasn't so interested in this.

You don't know about Kickstarter?
Basically normal people, help start various projects that can't find money. It could be any thing from video games, board games, watches, fidget toys, etc. But in the case of these big video games, Bloodstained Ritual of the Night and Shenmue 3 were the two big ones a few years ago. For the most part, they use Kickstarter as a tool for interest free money without the usual investor protection. Then go to whatever publisher for the rest of the funding. We have this much money now help us the rest of the way.
The Kickstarter people are seen as "backers" not investors. Thus some bad stuff can happen. Such as receiving poor games or at times no game at all. Doesn't have to be games, any item.
Things change that were promised. It happened with Bloodstained over the difference between a slipcase and dust jacket. And even more stuff like things being backer exclusive.
Late "rewards" or "goodies" even though in Kickstarter these things are basically sold as pre-order items. Give us this amount of money and you'll get this item. Not give us this amount of investment money without protection and you might get this item, once we fulfill our obligation to our publisher and make money selling the video game to the larger market. Of course, the game is the real focus and getting it to sell well. So rewards, goodies, or extras for "backers" usually arrive late in the majority of the projects I've seen. Instead of first, since those "backers" are responsible for the project even existing in the first place.
I could go on. But I wouldn't recommend Kickstarter anymore unless the person or company is small and really can't find money. The majority of projects I've seen are released anyway. And unless the item offered on Kickstarter is really special. I have the signed Bloodstained edition which is cool for me because I like the director and music composer. But other than that, there is no reason to risk your money on people that could be scammers or that will have more obligation to their other investors over the people that really started the project.

I thought it looked more like that Sekiro one.
Shenmue 3 just didn't grab me...sadly...very sadly...that plus hearing it's yet another "to be continued" I'm not about to invest any time in it until such a time as I know that more game/s is even a possibility.
About to put on the remaster of Yakuza 3, 4, 5.

It’s way easier than Sekiro, which is a good thing.

PC - Still Doom Eternal.

Pretty much the same...though those bastards with the energy axes that make fire dogs? They fuck me up every time. I can't beat any of them without turning the difficulty down, then back up. Annoying. Feels cheap.
Other than, quality production. Best doom since Doom2.

I am currently playing Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Gamecube version and that too on my Android smartphone So, Basically, I was getting bored in the lockdown and I came to know that you can play GameCube games using gamecube emulator on your Android Smartphone. I simply installed the gamecube emulator (https://updato.com/how-to/best-gamecube-emulator-android-can-run-complete-guide/) and added the rom of POP The Sands of time and started playing it. My father bought me a Gamecube when I was little and I used to play a lot of games on it. So, it is more like a nostalgic experience.

Started on "Deep Rock Galactica" with my brother.
Thus far...it's like a good looking multiplayer minecraft set in space, with combat.
Not a bad game to spend some time in.

Because it was dirt cheap.
One thing that impresses me is that you can have older games as mini games inside the new game. That's how far we've come in game sizes.

Video games are not a hobby for me. Maybe I'll change my statement, no hobbies. Horror films and such are a way of life. : )
I randomly play them when I wanna dust off the GameCube.

I'm playing Dead Space on PS3.
Also started up again with Demon's Souls on ps3, speak about dusting off consoles, damn I had to dust off the controller and console while particles floated into my eyes (should be a horror movie scene), cause i havn't touched the ps3 in ages being a ps4 guy.
