i find Ralph Wiggims hit and miss .. but sometimes he's the best (the episode where the principal and the teacher were making out in the closet)

i think it was also something about puppies instead of babies as well ..

actually i was a late comer to the simpsons - never saw it until this very episode ... and it was that line that sold me on the series ..

i still havent seen that mane episodes .. slowly working my way through the box sets - kind of erratically..

17 seasons .. jesus christ ! at roughly 30$ a pop per season used ???? thats a major investment !!!

Just get the non-special edition, its cheaper + it comes in a normal box. Not sure if it has different features, but I know that all the head boxes have been released in both versions.

i watched the entire season a few years ago and found that the further it went - the worse it got.
not sure how much involvement Lynch had as it got further into the series. (he certainly wasnt directing)

yeah .. random and weird for the sake of being random and weird gets tired mighty fast - the novelty wears off.

it's not only that it got really random, but all intrigue was over after laura palmer's killer was revealed. after that, they were really just grasping at straws. shame. i thought it was really good up until that point.

It's a cartoon about this kid who finds a watch that lets him turn into 10 different super-powered aliens. Tons of badguys after him (of course)...I liked it.

Last night watched some eps I have d/l'ed of various shows.

Smallville season 6, Ep1 - Very good...seasons 1-3 were a nice starter-story and all pretty consistant, I think season 4 fell down somewhat, 5 was excellent, and 6 looks set to continue as such...I noticed changes in the film style too, the whole series is definately starting to "feel" a lot more superman.

Heroes EP.1 - Pretty good...I like how the stories are interrelated, seems to have fairly solid cast, and some pretty interesting effects. Storylines seem pretty good too. The Japanese comic freak is funny...

Jericho Episode 1 - Nice going on this one...really great musical scoring, and a very tense feel about the whole thing. Quality acting all 'round, and just some "oh shit" moments. I really look foward to see what they're gonna do with this one. (I have this weird feeling that the main character is gonna somehow be linked to the explosions, time'll tell on that one)
Either way, very watchable...d/l'ing ep2 as I type...after all, if I waited for the show to broadcast HERE, I'd be like a year behind...fuck all that.

But yeah...quality watching last night.

From what I saw of SciFi Investigates, it's not too bad. They started off with voodoo - the only thing I don't get about that is it's a religion, not a supernatural occurrence. I did fall asleep halfway through.

I've always loved Ghost Hunters. Last night they were in Tombstone, Arizona. And saw some things themselves, got some things on tape and recorded an EVP.

- ER: Wasnt too bad. If that doctor wasnt on trial it wouldnt have been as good (the hospital scenes were pretty dumb), but the courtroom scenes were pretty good.

- Grey's Anatomy: Seemed ok. ALOT better than I was expecting at least. Wasnt always sure what was going on, but figured most of it out as I went. Pretty well acted.

Watched (on dvd) the first episode of Firefly, which was the show by Joss Whedon that preceeded "Serenity", in case ya didn't know.
I saw all the episodes, which isn't that many, a few years back, and since purchasing the complete series on dvd, it's the first time I've watched it again.
All I can say it's an excellent start to an excellent show, probably one of the best first episodes of anything I've ever seen.
It's too bad it's over, but I suppose the movie bought SOME amount of closure to it.
Just wanna say, if there's anyone reading that hasn't seen the show, at the current price they're selling the complete series boxset for in most places (Less than your average movie), it's definately worth checking out.
