He NOW claims that He only intended to kill his abusive father, because his oldest sister wanted him to, but when his mother woke up, she reached for a gun, so he had to shoot her, too.....He says that after shooting his mother and father, he left the house and drove around because he was freaked out and didn't know what to do

When he came back home, he discovered that his oldest sister had shot his younger sister, and his 2 young brothers...He tried to take the gun from her, and she was accidentally shot in the struggle...

Masters of Horror: Incident On and Off a Mountain Road, and Chocolate

Incident... was excellent. Suspenseful plot, frightening villain, and a great twist at the end. Not as good as Cigarette Burns, but still a great watch.

I didn't like Chocolate so much. Too humorous for my taste, and pretty damn light on the actual horror. That is to say, there wasn't any! Mediocre.

I just wached The X-Files pilot episode.

I bought the Season 1 boxset today, and it was essentally a blind-buy. When the show was on the air I was somewhere between too young and not interested, so I only watched it once or twice. Now that Im into horror and everything, Ive been wanting to check this out, and the new, cheaper boxset was too good to pass up!

Suffice to say, it was $30 well spent, based soley on the pilot. I highly enjoyed it, the characters are great, the story was creepy, the actors were very good....I loved it all-around and am looking forward to watching more in the near future:)

I rented/watched part of the Dr. Who story "Earthshock". Seems pretty good...this is the first time Ive seen Davison as the Doctor, he isnt bad. Easily better than Hartnell, but Eccelston is still my favourite. Thusfar those are the only 3 Ive seen though:(. Would really like to see some Baker episodes...

Tom Baker is many peoples definitive Dr. Who. I think if you were to watch any of his stuff it should be Genesis of the Daleks, its excellent.

Ironically enough I think it was Carolina getting smoked in game 6 that got the Oilers smoked in 7. They came out strong with their crowd going crazy from the national anthem straight through to the end. After the first three minutes of the game they had 2 minutes and 19 seconds of attack time, 5 hits and a 1-0 lead. Carolina took their frustration out on 'em hard and early, Edmonton just couldn't recover. Having said that, I do firmly believe that if the game was played in Edmonton the Oilers would've won the cup.

i think this summary on imdb sums it up perfectly :

"1934, America. The Dustbowl. i have season 1 and saw that season 2 even online was incredibly expensive, which is why i'm waiting and downladed it... ooh i mean taped. :rolleyes:

hehe... but really, one of the best shows ever. they stopped it after 2 seasons, just when all the real questions started coming up. so i'm still pissed. give it a check if ever you can. i assure you, it's well worth it.

Reminds me of what happened to Action on Fox (with Jay Mohr). it was a hilarious show, one o fthe first on prime time where they had to bleep half the dialogue. But they put it on thursdays opposite friends and seinfeld.... Fucking STUPID. not the first great series killed because Fox schedules things whenever the hell they feel.

hehe... but really, one of the best shows ever. they stopped it after 2 seasons, just when all the real questions started coming up. so i'm still pissed. give it a check if ever you can. i assure you, it's well worth it.


that happened to me in a way .. i picked up season 1 of Jeremiah .. not a great show but i kind of liked it (and it was dirt ass cheap)

the ending is a cliff hanger .. and they never released season 2 !!

turns out that although season 2 was made, only a bit of it aired before it was canned.

Back in '93, comedy central ran every single epsiode of Soap in order in a single marathon. I was just hooked enough to see what the hubbub was.

It ended with about 30 unanswered questions.

i havent seen any of these shows (or heard of half of them)

i stopped watching TV when Beta became commercially available.

the only exposure to TV i have is through boxsets.

this can be a problem because on several occasions I'm getting into shows that have been long since cancelled unknown to me.

In order to qualify as a "reality" show, they place the people in completely unrealistic situations, not to mention they makre sure to mix up completely incopatible personalities. A more accurate name would be "Heavily structured social experimentation centered around terminally selfish subjects"

either way - to hell with it - i havent had the time ... for over 20 years - for that kind of bullshit ..

situation comedies ...game shows...reality shows...cop shows....medical shows ....

Dead Like Me .. seems to be a clever show .. developed nicely

Jerimiah .. not a good show but i like the character that played opposite Luke Perry (Jamal something..)

Spongebob Squarepants. I have all 3 seasons so far .. one of the funniest shows ever.

SCTV .. best show ever made for TV .. and one i saw before i stopped watching TV.

I have a few dozen other TV boxsets here and there ... but mostly older stuff..
