Watched TWD season premier.
It was...ok...little confusing at first, but I caught on about 10 minutes in.
Don't really go much for skips and jumps in a show, but I can see they were going for something different.
High hopes for this season.

I really like Lilly Taylor too. I've never seen her act badly. The only thing I haven't seen is her range, but I think that's due to what she's been cast as.

I caught a clip of the beginning to the start of this season, with the tractor trailer falling on the zombies. I thought I would watch that episode. I started it and saw that it was in black and white. I really wasn't in the mood for that sort of episode. I read the wiki and thought I didn't miss anything. Then I saw the final parts of last night's episode and watched from the beginning. It was ok. More of the same I thought. Crazy humans. We've seen this before.

I love Carol!

Definitely the best part. That's what made me watch. I wanted to see why she had the "W" on her forehead.

The black and white scenes represented things that happened between season 5 and season 6 that we didn't see.

I like Walking Dead but feel like it has just dragged on since the beginning and the exciting parts come and go too quickly. I am much more invested in American Horror Story than Walking Dead.

Most of them were terrible, like they were TRYING to get the cop's attention. I just kept walking when I saw them. Another reason to like VHS tapes. People don't waste time making pirated VHS tapes when so few even have a VCR anymore. ::big grin::
I didn't do any haggling til the very end of the day. It was with the vendor dressed like a Blues Brother. Was pretty funny actually. I rambled about how a dinosaur figure (I collect sauropod models) was a dollar and so was a Hulk figure (which i already bought, i love the hulk a looooot) less than half it's size. He ended up giving me the dinosaur. ::smile::
I might've done it a few times total and saved a few bucks, but I'm not much into haggling. Too shy. Next time I'll be sure to try more.

Yeah, me too. I wonder what the overarching plot will be. Episode 1 seemed to have a primary goal of proving to fans that this really is legit Evil Dead, but you have to believe there will be a larger storyline to warrant a whole series. I have faith.

Gotham - latest episode.
This show...I stuck with it, I felt like season 1 was a little unsteady but overall watchable, though I heard of many people dropping off on account of it not being "Batman enough", changing the mythos a little and being "slow".
I stayed though.

This season has picked up in such a big way, it's an amazing difference.
I'd recommend to anybody that was maybe a little offput by season 1, to give the second one a chance.
It's a show that's taken some major strides IMO.

Not the whole episode, just the beginning and I caught the ending. I might watch this Sunday to see what happens. But it's really the same show all over and over. Which many shows are. But I just wish they had a cut off. Because these things wear out.

For example, I'm watching Breaking Bad. Not horror but an awesome show. I believe it's only 5 seasons. I'm in season 4 now. They are putting them up slowly on demand. But every episode is awesome. You can't keep that kind of tension and quality forever.

Walking Dead should have ended probably a few seasons ago.

While I personally think Marvels other netflix series Daredevil was a little stronger (though I'm only 6 eps into this one), I have to say it is interesting to see an adaptation of a comic that introduced this character to the world, that I've read the complete run of.
It's fairly true to form with some minor chages to characters and events.
I hate the chick who plays her, so that's a little grating for me.
Where it's at, is the bad guy. Really just...a superlative, evil, demented villain...always has been, and they've nailed it here. He truly is absolutely revolting and rotten, and they're very close in their portrayal of the purple man.
I'd say watch it just to see this guys antics.

But yeah so far I'd give it a 7/10. It's pretty solid. Might not be for everyone.

I was lucky to find this show, I was looking at IMDB one day and saw a picture of Mena Suvari advertising some show. It happened to be South of Hell and the description sounded good enough.

The first episode was directed by Eli Roth. It's an exorcism show set in South Carolina. At first I thought it was New Orleans. The first episode reminded me of early Supernatural episodes. It has a spooky vibe and I like the twist with the main character. It's only 8 episodes but for some reason the 8th is on the Apple Store only. Hopefully they will release that one later on. The final reveal at the end is wild. The ultimate don't mess with hookers warning.

The original Roku is no longer supported so they offered me 20% off on an upgrade. I went with the Roku 3 and I love it!! I still have the Roku 2 that we use in the living room.

A family obsessed with osteology owns a business cleaning bones. Using dermestid beetles, boiling, and stripping the meat and hides right off the skin, it's a horrific messy job, but they love it and I love watching them do it.

There was only the first episode on Netflix, an they're taking it off today. Being a bone collector I found this show very fun and fascinating, but good lord keep the drama off camera! It distracts from the task at hand and makes everyone sound like a whiny bitch. Seriously even the fucking music! Calm the fuck down show, you're a documentary at best, not an action flick.

Dead Famous DNA

This... this needs to be watched by all. Brits really do make the best documentaries. In a way it was exciting, and it also taught a valuable lesson about believing rumors and just assuming the worst about people (as well as thinking those of us who collect the dead are freaks). A scientist gathers DNA samples from famous people long dead, and after very thorough background checks, has them analyzed to get their genetic codes. Among them are Darwin, Elvis, Napoleon, and even those of infamous fame. Hitler being the long running one, and what he reveals at the very end is worth the three episodes. I won't spoil it, but it's leaving Netflix on the 10th! So quickly get to it!

Been looking at this Seinfeld show...if you can call it that "Comedians in cars getting coffee" I find it's pretty palatable as background noise if you like having a look at some nice older vehicles, and hearing people talk random shit.
It's something of a relaxing, random watch.
This is more the "show about nothing" than the show actually called that.
Not bad for light entertainment.

Also saw the latest "big bang". Not sure if I'm alone here...but it seems like this show has been in a huge slump for the last couple of seasons. I put it on, I watch it. Nothing good happens. It's just run its course and it feels like a bunch of filler just to get everyone to their "happy ending" at this point.

Aside from the brilliant "Charlie Work" I'm hoping for a lot more out of this season than the last one. I'm collecting them to marathon. Hopefully a bit more time has been put into some good episodes this time around.

The CGI in this show is scifi painful to watch, but it's entertaining enough with it's teachings of local myths and fables. Watching it for drawing inspiration (it's always fun trying to draw the monsters better than the CGI can, and it turns out not being that hard), and because it's leaving Netflix in a few days. But now I see they're getting rid of Big Fish and I didn't even KNOW that was on Netflix or I would've watched it sooner! Makes me wonder why I keep letting my subscription renew honestly. Their system is in desperate need of improvements. 8/

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES Season One...dull dull dull

Legends of Tomorrow. At least part of episode 3, was a bit tired.
I actually quite like this...though the hawk people and "white canary" really can't act for shit, I don't mind the dynamic.
Of course, seeing the prison break brothers together again after a fashion is kind of cool too.
It's thus far somewhat self contained from the shows that launched it, so episode one is fine to hop in on without having seen the flash/arrow.
It's not GREAT, but it's watchable.
For me, no "superhero" show has really come close to Smallville (or at least the first few seasons) in terms of overall quality.

I also watched an episode of something called "Baskets", I was actually plesantly surprised that a show starring Zach Galifinakis as a sad, slightly pathetic guy that wants to be a clown...was actually a good watch.
It's produced by himself and Louis CK who's influence is pretty obvious.
It's funny, heartfelt, and melancholy...kind of makes you feel for the guy.
I don't know if this is a show that will end up surviving, but yeah, it's really good.
