Do You Need Help With the Title of a Horror Movie/Book/TV Series? Bring it here!

Hey all, noob here. Not sure if I posted in the right area, so I'm sorry in advance if I missed something and posted incorrectly.

I am looking for a film that was made between 2008 and 2012. It's gotta be a psychological thriller or horror film but i don't know for sure, as I have only seen the trailer and it was pretty confusing. Here goes.

This middle aged guy discovers a "bizarre" video and takes it over to his friends house. He makes his friends promise to never tell anyone they have seen it. They all sit and watch this video but the content of the video is never actually shown, leaving us the audience intrigued to what the men watched.. aliens? snuff? etc. The guys all have this look of "what the hell did I just watch" on their faces. If I remember correctly the guy that brings the video over becomes addicted or obsessed with the video.*

It was just a bizarre trailer and I should have written the name down. Sadly I never saw it again. I don't even know what genre to classify this movie in but the trailer was definitely eerie. Very creepy.*

Does anyone have any idea what that movie is titled? It has been driving me crazy for weeks. Maybe I am just crazy and imagined the whole thing..*

So I have an image from a horror movie... It's black and white involving a hairy tattooed arm - What made me think about it was Young Frankenstein so this could be a Frankenstein movie - If it's a Frankenstein movie, the scene I'm thinking of is that the Monster was destroyed but the Doctor transplanted the Monster's arm to himself?

What I vividly remember is someone washing his hands and he now has a tattooed arm, and I THINK it's implied that he transplanted it from somewhere (this is where I assume it's a Frankenstein movie - Maybe he took it from the Monster?)

My cousin remembers seeing a movie from when he was younger and I'm posting to see if anyone knows what it was, or if it's just something he thinks he saw. (A dream? Random crazy untrue memory? Who knows.)

From what he said it had a boyfriend and girlfriend, or husband and wife, and the woman got taken by these zombie cowboys. If he remembers correctly, these zombie cowboys weren't braindead but fully capable of talking and such. So I guess more like undead cowboys? One thing that sticks out to him was that the boyfriend or whoever it was killed the main undead cowboy by throwing a sheriffs star badge at his head.

Did this movie truly exist, or is my cousin just going loopy?

Thanks for the input! Cousin spoke of in the original post here. That's not the film, actually, but I do remember House 2 after looking it up.

Your comment did lead me to doing yet another search for the film I'm speaking of and I actually found it! The name was Ghost Town and in the end of the film the main undead cowboy is indeed defeated by a sheriff badge thrown at his head like a ninja star.

The show I need help with starts in a crashed space ship. A person, who I think might be Ernest Borgnine, is trying to get main actor to wake up. They are on a rescue mission to bring an antidote back to Earth and they are only ship to make the return journey. In attempting repairs, (you find out) the crew were attacked by spiders. A crew member lying nearby is uncovered and you see a spider on her chest with fangs in at heart and she is talking as if responding to something, like dreaming with eyes open. Ernest's character tells lead actor he can't repair ship alone and they have to go outside and lead needs to watch out for spiders while Ernest fixes. Lead starts experiencing dream state. Ernest says he has to choose a reality and in doing so will doom the other. If he chooses the reality where they made it back to earth and it is not real the earth dies from disease. So he, the lead, chooses the reality that is horrific but needs him. Ernest puts lead in life pod with cure and sends him back making lead promise to send help. When lead comes into radio contact with earth he says he is only survivor. Ernest had looked as if he knew you could not send help due to spider infestation. Panning back you see lead on floor with spider on chest and him speaking. Further panning back shows huge skeleton larger than ship in distance covered in webs and you hear desperate plea from person, who sounds like leads wife from flash back, over radio.

I watched a serial killer thriller when I was younger and was wondering what the name of it was.. The specific details I remember are a) that at one stage a child was killed and shoved into a wooden tricycle box b) a woman found out about the killings and then went on to fall in love with the serial killer and c) that it finished with a scene of both the male serial killer and his accomplice/lover being executed by electric chair.. the man is electrocuted and the woman smells his burning flesh and she enjoys it.

So I hope to find someone who can help me with this one, as I search since a long time for the title of this movie.

I saw this movie when I was maybe 12 years old, I slept at a friend's place, and I was totally scared of this movie, and my friend preferred to watch an adult movie on another channel, that's why I remember almost nothing, but let's see...

This movie was as far as I remember about demons in a big, creepy mansion. It had something from Night of the Demons, actually Night of the Demons comes as closest to the movie I am looking for. Demons, walking around in the house, trying to kill the surviving. That's what I remember. I remember one scene, where a guy and a girl wanted to have sex in a bed they found, and as far as I remember the girl turned out to be a demon, and the true girl was somewhere else (if I remember correctly). Other than that, the movie was very dark, with a red lights in the scenes I saw.

As you can see, the movies has much of Night of the Demons, but I am about 99% sure that it was not Night of the Demons...I didn't see the sequels though, but I don't think it's one of them...but yeah, the movie looked like around 80's/90's...hope someone can help.

Depends which Hellraiser...just saw 1,2 and 5...and it's surely not Sword and the Sorcerer, I am talking about a horror movie :D As I said, in this video I saw, you see a boy, I think it was a teenager, and he was going into the bathroom of a house, looking at himself in the mirror, taking a scissors, pulling his skin and cutting it off. Again and again until he is all bloody all over his face. He was very calm when he did it, like in a kind of hypnosis. And the movie looked from effects newer than the 80s, I'd say late 90's or 00's.

looking for a movie . i believe its a korean horror anthology. i only remember two of the short films. one was about three teenagers hiking in the woods, and they come across a body hanging with a note. they end up getting lost and they all die . its in black and white as well. then another one was about a group of friends having a get together around christmas time . three girls nd four guys. one of the guys show up late with a cut on his hand and their other friend was found murdered in the woods , they find out it was the kid that showed up late and when they figure it out he tries to kill them all. i hope someone knows what im talking about. im dying to own this movie. thanks!

HI all, I'm looking for a vampire film that I remember watching as a child but I can only remember the ending. It reminds me of one of the hammer Dracula endings but it's not in any of the first 4 hammer Draculas. The ending is the vampire is in a hall (maybe a museum) and a stake is in his heart but as the credits come on the stake drops to the floor. Any help would be appreciated.

There's one that I'm looking for that I believe was recommended on this site a few years ago but I can't find the thread nor the post.

It was made in the early 70's and it begins with two people in a cemetery, and a vampire crawls out of a coffin or crypt or whatever and kills either both of them or just the guy.

His character gets a job at a university teaching, but only night classes I believe, for obvious reasons.

It was pretty creepy and done in the low-budget 70's style that I love. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

I think the stake at the end as odd as it seems could have been a cactus or something as I remember an odd sound effect when it hit the ground. Its being on tv a few times (in England) and the reson i suspect its 70s is becuase i watched it around the eighties and it seem like the sort of 70s 'natural terror' movies that were made back then. i also think its relatively well known by obscure movie standards.

the Ernest Bornine one. I suggest the bloke looks him up on imdb, then goes through his filmography methodically reading on each one. It'll be a long laborious task but i'm pretty sure you can safetly discount films like the dirty dozen!

Trying to remember the title to a horror movie that was about aliens. The main parts i remember is this guy is strapped to a chair in a military/government base, and he's being tortured and shocked because aliens are able to temporarily take over and channel through this guys body in short duration's, enabling them to see through his eyes and communicate. The government agent doing the torture to him is a women, a total cocky bitch. I also remember the end somewhat. An alien takes over someones body, and comes to this military installation where they are torturing this guy. The alien basically kills every soldier that works there, then comes to the room where the women is torturing this guy and basically "releases" or detaches this guys mind from "it", and then does something her, where all she feels is constant pain, and she cant kill herself, ever. I remember when they found her, she was shooting herself in the head over and over trying to die. Pretty crazy movie. I think the aliens were pissed off because earlier in the movie, this guy killed one, or captured one. I think this movie was released in the last couple years or so. I know it starts with this young guy that drives out to old farm type of place, to interview this crazy, reclusive guy who claims hes an abductee, or contactee. This guy ends up killing one of these aliens, then somehow ends up in this military installation where he's being tortured and questioned.

First of all, I apologize for the lack of detail in the following question. I saw this movie as a young kid and only remember a few things about it.

Here goes...

There's a young guy with longer black hair, he is the main character. I remember a specific scene where he is in a hospital talking to a man that either had long thumbnails or blades on his fingers. Anyway, after talking with this guy, the man with (blades/nails) cuts around the top of his own head and pulls his scalp off.

The only other thing I remember is random "ghouls" or something (they all looked different) running through a field at night. I believe maybe to a house or something.

I'm almost certain this was a fairly popular movie and I hope coming to this forum may just be the help I need.

Again, sorry for the limited details, hopefully it's enough for someone to know what movie this is.

I think the cover of the movie was a house. I remember in the opening scene someone is sitting at the table in the kitchen with a gun and they shoot themselves and you see their brains splatter behind them. Whenever something happened it shows a picture of the house and it flashes different colors with music. Some of the details I gave may be remembered wrong but this is all I remember about the film. Would really like to see the film again (if anything to see if it was as good as I remember). So I would appreciate any help that could be given. I've googled and googled but haven't found anything.

It's been a long time since I've seen it and can't remember the title.
There was a miniature version of a house that there was a murder in. And the tiny figurines in the house would recreate the murder by positioning themselves. The film is excellent but extremely obscure. It's from the 80s or possibly the 70s. It's American and I think it was a regional release. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, or find out anything about it online. I saw it on YouTube years ago.

Plot. (In chronological order). A man molests his daughter. Feeling guilty, he founds a mental hospital in a mansion in a small town to help people. The man's daughter is treated there as well. Unbeknownst to him, the doctors are neglecting and abusing the patients. One night the patients get together and massacre the doctors. The man's daughter is murdered too, because of her connection with him. He is grief-stricken and disappears. It is believed that he dies in a fire.

Many years later, the former mental patients still live in the same town and now run the small town council. A young woman (some relation of the asylum founder) inherits the mansion. She notices everyone treating her strangely. The town council is very interested in buying the house from her. (They want to tear it down because it gives them bad memories and makes them afraid.)

One by one, the former mental patients are murdered by a mysterious figure. Before killing each one, the murderer terrifies them by reminding them of the mental hospital and what they did, all those years before.

In the end the woman is alone in the mansion after a brutal string of killings. A dark figure rushes at her from the stairs, shrieking something. The camera zooms in on his face and we see he's a very old man. She immediately shoots him dead. It turns out it's the asylum founder, who was alive and well this whole time, killing to avenge his daughter. And he had mistaken the woman for his daughter, calling her by his daughter's name.

Please help me identify this movie. I only caught about 20 minutes of it.

A man was locked in a room by a brother and sister. The room was in their house but it was like a padded cell. The brother and sister were doing this for their father, who was catatonic in a wheelchair. They were "showing" the father their "prize" but the prisoner was shouting about the father not even understanding what was going on. Then the brother and sister tell the prisoner to open a small door in the wall and inside is a wrapped gift. Inside is a scalpel. The sister calls the prisoner "doctor" at this point.

Before this scene, the brother was shown holding an axe and there were axe murders earlier in the film.

Help! I want to see the whole movie now.

Before the man was imprisoned in the room he was driving with the sister. She is taking him somewhere to hide away from someone. He says something like, "But he'll know this place." She says she never took "him" here. It's night as they are driving and having this conversation. When they get out of the car there is this house that seems to be in an isolated spot. When he gets out he turns and sees she's holding a gun. Then the brother shows up. This was the scene before the prison room.

Though I may not get a timely answer, I have been searching a while for a film that I saw from an unlabeled trailer.(It was to be released in the 2016-2020 year range, as I recall.) From what I remember from the trailer, it was based off of either a play or a story set in the 1700s. The plot, as I recall, was about a scientist/magician/exorcist who goes to an English town to solve their "demon problem" and things inevitably go sour. The general look of the film was a lot more colorful and stylized than most regular horror films, and the demon reveal consisted of the skin tearing apart to reveal the evil beneath. Any help is appreciated, I've been searching for months. Agh!

Hello everyone.
There�s a couple of scenes from movies, that has been running in my subconscious for quite a while, I would say years. Hope someone can help me, so that I can finally see the complete movies and get on with it.
All I have is very short snapshots on my retina, and a fistful of abstract descriptions, so I�m not expecting wonders here, but here goes.

Movie 1:
I believe this is the most straight forward one. It�s an Asian horror movie.
The only scene I remember is a woman dragged sitting through a corridor. All of a sudden she is "copied", and another woman just like her is sitting in her trail, while the first woman is stilled dragged down the corridor. The female figure is immobile and stiff, in a way, maybe possessed or something.
It might be an asylum, laboratory or some observatory of some sort.
The move is rather dark, and maybe in the vein of "shutter" or Ringu.

Movie 2:
This is perhaps not a horror, but very strange and surreal. Also Asian, and all I can remember is someone in a market or a factory. There are tables of bionic insects/creatures, that may be traded(?) or produced. They are a very distinct blend of mechanical and biological, and have some kind of exoskeleton.
The visuals are very HD, with bright colors, and the movie is very sci-fi influenced. The bionic creatures reminded me of "Naked lunch".

In one scene a dog drinks water, a blind man gives the dog some water in a bowl and later the dog gets crazy and kills his owner. A colleague of mine is looking for a movie, but we can't find it.

Don't know how old the movie is, or when she seen it. There's a lake, and a village/town/city near it. The movie begins (or has a scene in the beginning) with a woman getting out of a lake to aproach a guy. The woman is kinda zombified (she has green clothing or skin), and she's screaming "Ricardoooooooo!!! Why did you do this??????" or something like that.

Also the whole movie is about people going insane, MAYBE killing each other, but definitely self-mutilate themselves.

Any ideas what this movie might be?

When I was really little (like 10), I used to request to watch this movie at school every friday afternoon. Basically, a boy moves to this weird new house. He starts having dreams that in the garden is a no longer used, covered up mine, and that there is an alien (I think it was an alien, maybe just a monster) inside. He then finds that the mine is real, and goes down. I'm pretty sure he finds the alien down there. I never got round to watching the end of the movie because our 'movie time' was only like an hour long. If anyone could help me out, that would be awesome!

Having a blast looking at all the discussions here.
Been trying to figure a movie out for years with no luck, hoping you folks might recognize something.

I remember watching a movie with my brothers when we were really young late at night on the French channel (doesn't necessarily make it a French movie) in the mid '80's. We do not speak French so we had no idea what they were saying we were just hoping for some nudity (we were all pre-teens at the time, so, ya.).
Anyways this movie (going by my faded memory) seemed like it was in a girls school (as there were a bunch of young girls in it) and had some sort of movie crew filming in it. Seemed to have a Italian/European mid 70's vibe to it.
Anyways the only two scenes I remember before I got scared and took off were a guy with a movie camera going down stairs and seeing a bunch of brooms (like a witches broom) and another where one of the girls hugs a fat old guy on a bed. When the girl pulls away her face is messed up or evil looking (I was covering my eyes) and the old guy freaks out. When everyone runs in he is covered in something that looks like mud or feces and they get him into a shower.
I asked my brothers how it ended and they said everyone was running away from the building and the one girl stops, and goes back to the house.
I've been scouring Horrorpedia and like sites trying to find this but have come up empty handed. I'm hoping some one might recognize something with my vague description.

This movie is set with a family of inbred's similar to those from the "Wrong Turn" movies and the house they live in is similar to the Texas chainsaw movies.

The movie begins with a stillborn deformed baby that is buried and you see the silhouette of a man sobbing and someone consoling him.

Later you find that these deformed men make love to a limbless woman (no arms or legs) who I suspect is their mother after they've fed her human flesh.

I also recall that they ride in a red / maroon Cadillac such as the one below. I would be very APPRECIATIVE to acquire the title of this movie.

When I was a kid I rented two different movies and have not been able to figure out the titles because of the lack of memory of the films. I do know some specific scenes and would like help.

The first one I have a bit more to go on.
The vhs box art was like the old farmer painting with a old farm picture of the woman and man farmer holding a pitch fork.
The movie I believe was a group of young adults and they are on some sort of island I believe and find a house with a weird family. I remember one scene is a swing set on the edge of the rocks and the girl keeps getting pushed higher and higher and the swing snaps and she flies off the cliff.
The other are being killed in the house by the rest of the creepy family.
There was a mom and dad a big country guy who is some sort of special kid and maybe twin girls. The girls may be wrong.

The other is just one small scene and probably will never be known. Also when I was a child around 1993 when I watched it. So could have been any year before that. At the very end of the movie when everything seems to be fine and the guy seems to be relieved he is laying on his bed or in a chair and holding a remote flipping threw the channels and all of a sudden the wall comes crushing in and hordes of zombie looking people come crushing in.

If anyone could help at all it will have helped me with a 20 year search .
I know not a lot to go on but thanks to anyone who tries.

I just found two movies I've searched for for a couple years. I saw both when I was a little kid so of course I couldn't remember the titles to either one. I finally found out the title to both...but as luck would have it both are out of print.

The first movie I rediscovered was Night Of The Howling Beast aka The Wolf man and The Yeti, starring Paul Naschay.

Ironically I bought a couple of his werewolf movies hoping it would be the one I was looking for but to no avail. Then by pure happenstance I leafed through a Rue Morgue article about classic horror movies that have never been released on DVD. I saw the title and it rang a bell. After researching the title o knew it was the movie I was looking for. I bought a couple bootlegs and finally found a proper copy Sat.

The second is Eerie Midnight Horror Show. An exorcist/demonic possession film.

I need some help finding the title for a B rated horror flick... I believe the title had experiment and a # in the title i.e. Experiment 456.

A brief description... a squad of Paranormal Investigators go into this haunted Asylum... they come across a woman laying in the kitchen who they cage up until she can be investigated. They believe she is a witch/demon. The crew gets seperated they all experience a paranormal act before they die based on a weakness they have.

I'm trying to remember the title of a movie. I hope somebody here might know.

I think the word Ghost is in the title but I might be wrong.

Anyway all I remember is a woman is home alone in her kitchen. There is a thunderstorm going on.

There is a loud crack of thunder and some lightning and the lights go out.

The woman is scared and closes her eyes. A ghost of a man appears. He is real creepy looking.

At one point he is lying on his stomach and pulling him self towards her with his arms, just dragging his legs like they are broken. It was real creepy.

Does anybody know the name of this movie? I would really appreciate it.

Hello all!
I need some help finding the title for a B rated horror flick... I believe the title had experiment and a # in the title i.e. Experiment 456.

A brief description... a squad of Paranormal Investigators go into this haunted Asylum... they come across a woman laying in the kitchen who they cage up until she can be investigated. They believe she is a witch/demon. The crew gets seperated they all experience a paranormal act before they die based on a weakness they have.

I use to watch HBO back in the 80s and I remember a voodoo type of movie that would come on HBO around 1987-88, of course the movie could be a year or two old by that time, SO I'm going to say the movie came out anywhere between 1984-88.. Anyways the scene I remember is a female looking into the mirror and seeing these big pimples on her face, and they started to movie and then bugs started to come out of them... I would love to find out the name of this movie, and I remember my step father at the time said the movie is based upon voodoo, So it could be a sci-fi horror type of film..

Second movie I remember, I want to say was based very similar to Creep Show or Tales from the Crept, where it had different segments, and I remember a scene with a watermelon that was sitting in someone's house on the counter top, and a worm made it's way into the watermelon, then a woman picked up the watermelon and put it in the back seat of her car, and started to drive (Probably home), it was at night, and as she was driving the worm grew very large, and decided to craw into her skin while driving which caused her to scream, drive off the road and crash..

I tried looking everywhere and researched but I was unable to find the movie so hopefully registering here at a horror movie forum will help so I'll describe the movie as best as I can from memory so help me out please anyone.

The movie mostly takes place in the wilderness or swamp. The monster is a sasquatch. In the beginning of the movie it kills a man, later on in the movie at a party there's a raid of some kind and a man is arrested I think, finally towards the end there's a cabin in the swamp and two men are trying to hide inside a small space but it's too late, the sasquatch rushes inside the cabin. I think it kills them though I do not remember. Finally at the end of the movie, the cabin explodes along with the sasquatch monster inside and the movie ends. It went along something like that.

Now the only scary movies that involve sasquatch or bigfoot that I know are the legend of boggy creek, snowbeast, and watchers but it's none of those. Pretty sure it was a seventies flick or possibly eighties but I'm not sure. If anyone can help me track down this movie I would appreciate it.

Its a movie I seen when I was little, probably one of the scariest movies ive seen to me. its about an exoskeleton like on Elysium but this exoskeleton turn evil and started ripping people apart when they were alone. it had a mind of its own and would walk around on its own and kill people. I don't know if this film is actually a horror film cuz I was a little kid when I first saw it but from what I remember it should be :)

Now to the point.. I remember a factory in which a guy was trying to convince a woman not to fall onto a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt was leading to a rotating spike which was dismembering whoever was on that belt and then a weird process was taking place. The woman chose to let her self fall onto that conveyor belt and after the passed the rotating spike (where you could only see pink blood and flesh on the spikes) she ended to the back of the machinery inside of some kind of transparent huge bucket full of window display dolls. The woman had been transformed into a doll - like the dolls you see in retail stores.
Do you have any idea what this could be?

So I have tried this once before on another forum. I received the answer and then shortly after that, the response was deleted. Therefore, I'm still without the name of the movie. With that, here goes my best recollection of a few details.

In the opening scene, there is a couple sitting in a diner, with music playing on the jukebox. The guy is waxing poetically about the virtues of small-town America and diners like the one they are eating in. There's panning around the place as he speaks. Eventually, you start seeing that everyone else in the diner is dead...shot up by the couple, essentially. The diner then is surrounded by police. Just as the couple decides it's time to go, they burst out the front door, guns blazin', and it stops. The scene changes, but I can't remember to what now.

There's a scene where he and his girlfriend are in a hotel room, they have a fight, then when he goes into the bathroom and the word "MURDERER" is written across the wall.

They travel down the highway running from an evil he swears is pursuing them.

I won't give the ending away just in case someone provides the movie title and anyone else wants to see it.

I would like to identify a horror movie I saw as a child, I remember only one scene and to me it sounds like a giallo movie:

A woman is searching through an apartment, a photographer is living there and she comes across some pictures of either dead girls or nude pictures in his photolab (I am not sure on details here), but the woman seemed to be very frightened by what she saw on these images.

She is suddenly surprised by the photographer and there`s a fight and she manage to throw some chemicals in his face and sets him on fire, the man runs screaming through the apartment engulfed in flames and dies.

The movie is probably from the 1970s to early 80s.

It a thriller/horror that is set in the woods about some people being being hunted by "forest dwellers". I seem to remember they wore strange woodland folk type outfits. I can't remember it being overly graphic, so it might have been classed as a thriller.

I seem to remember they clobbered their foe in the end using a large spiked log suspended by 2 ropes type trap, that swung across and impaled the baddie.

From memory there was a fairly well known star in it, that I thought was Bill Paxton, but after looking on IMDB, seems it wasn't the case.

Yeah, like I say, pretty vague. Just remember it being one of the better B Movies that I picked up because of the person that was in it.

When I was a kid I rented this crazy 1980s horror movie. I don't remember the exact name but it was something like "Judgment Night". I remember some of the plot but it's still kind of foggy.

Its about these guys (I think college students) who are either stranded / break down / or get lost in this small random town in I believe Mexico but it could've been any South American country.

This is when the movie get bananas, so this small town is some kind of gateway, and every so many years hell opens up and demons basically roam free for the night.

When the guys get to town they see all of these people packing up and heading out of the town. I'm not sure if it was a language issue, the people just abandoning them, or the guys blowing them off but for whatever reason they end up staying in the town.

So with them still in the town night time comes and hells gates open and here comes the demons. In that mix of demons breaking out for the night is the "head demon" (he's actually the guy on the vhs cover) who has the literal right hand or arm of satan. I don't remember what that has to do with that plot, I just remember it being somewhere in the narrative.

Anyways, the movie has those 2 college kids stranded in the town trying to avoid being captured by these demons.

The last thing I remember about the movie is the 2 main characters hiding in some kind of really dark church.

Thats basically all I can remember about the movie, I was only around 7 or 8 when I rented it but for the past 10 years I've been trying to find it again. From what I can remember it was actually pretty good but then again I was super young and the standards for quality horror movies during the 80s werent really high.

Great to join this forum, looks like a great place! I have an old movie that I need help identifying. I saw it as a kid and the only scene I remember is that a guy who I think is a butterfly collector ends up being pinned to death in the same way he pins butterflies to his boards.

It was a British black and white movie from the 50's and I think it may have been one of those portmanteau films with several stories. It scared me as a kid, however not 100% sure it was a full horror movie, maybe more of a "weird tales" type of thing. However it was definitely something a horror movie fan would enjoy.

Man commuting home meets another man who says he is an old acquaintance and gives details of where they previously met. He feels sorry for this man and invites him home to dinner with his wife and son.
After dinner the couple is busy with the cleanup and the visitor volunteers to put the child to bed and read to him.
They allow this and when the guest does not return by the time they have finished the cleanup the father goes to the son's room and sees the horrific penalty of being too trusting.
All of this with the background of the moon landing on the news.

I was wondering if some of you fine people could help me locate an old horror show for a friend of mine who is a huge horror enthusiast.

This is what I remember from the tv show:

- it aired somewhere between 2005-2012 in the US
- it aired only one season, had around 10-12 episodes, and was relatively high production
- each episode had a different story and cast. the acting was normal and not over the top, almost X-Files esque. quite gory
- from the one episode I can remember there was a man taking refuge in an old abandoned two story house, setting up sound surveillance towards a house across the street (I think it had something to do with the house being haunted). Just as he's set up and start receiving sound he hears a woman living in that house tell her partner that she wants to have sex. He continues to listen and soon someone enters the haunted house where he's set up surveillance, comes up the stairs, and surprises him.

Anyway I've been remembering this one episode from something and I can't find a way to describe it in any way that Google can help me. I don't know what series it was from or too many details about it. It was black and white, and centered around a woman getting phone calls I think. I can't remember if this was a mini series or a film but I saw this film/show maybe 20 years ago. I don't remember much from it but I think this was a european film but im not sure, and the scenes I remember is that there was a monster or somekind of disgusting creature that was trying to kill people that were locked in a school or atleast a large building. I think there were police officers outside the building but for some reasons they couldn't get in and the people inside were locked in with this creature (Not the movie Relic) I also remember some kind of air ventilation scene were the monster was hunting down a guy in a ventilation. But I don't remember anything else. I know this is little to work with but if you have an idea what this film/tv show is I would love to know.
The monster looked like a zombie but it was not a zombie (humanly figure).

I don't remember much from it but I think this was a european film but im not sure, and the scenes I remember is that there was a monster or somekind of disgusting creature that was trying to kill people that were locked in a school or atleast a large building. I think there were police officers outside the building but for some reasons they couldn't get in and the people inside were locked in with this creature (Not the movie Relic) I also remember some kind of air ventilation scene were the monster was hunting down a guy in a ventilation. But I don't remember anything else. I know this is little to work with but if you have an idea what this film/tv show is I would love to know.
The monster looked like a zombie but it was not a zombie (humanly figure).

its either a 70s or 80s movie, or just maybe a 60s.

Sorry I have so little to go on here but I vaguely remember this film from the 80s I guess but have no clue what it was called, who was in it or even the genre but it was creepy so could be horror.

The only thing I really remember about it was that a guy out alone, somehow comes across, or is brought to, a remote mansion.

In there lives a rich guy and a couple of women. The rich guy demonstrates to the newcomer how he makes money by some sort of currency trading racket or something.

Sorry guys, I know it's virtually nothing to go on but perhaps, by chance, I'm not imagining this and there is such a film. It seemed interesting, I wanted to revisit it to see if it was any good.

Ahoy hoy! Many years ago I saw a Chinese horror film about a young man who was killed by a group of friends while playing pool. I think they were jealous of him or some such. A while later the friends and some girls spend a weekend in the same house and are haunted by him. He floats through the halls with his neck angled oddly. And I think he exacts revenge on them. And it's seems to involve a lot of flooding toilets. Would love to see it again.

I watched this experimental indie horror film and I can't remember the name. These people go camping and after two of the campers disappears the protagonist finds pictures of them but sees cigarette smoke in the pictures. There's a foreboding TV car salesman in it and it has a weird vibe about it. I heard it described as a David Lynch type horror film. It was bizarre. In one scene there is a shadow that moves down the wall and screams. It is definitely experimental. I think I may have watched it on Shudder.

Ever since I was a little kid, I remember seeing this horror movie. I'll put what I remember.

There was a scene with a parking deck, and this man and woman were running from decomposing skeletons and demons, and the guys screams,"what do you want from us" and one of the demons appears in a old late 70's sedan and say"YOU" and the car starts and just barely misses him.

The other scene is they are in a generator room and he has an ax, they are trying to find the main switch to turn on the mechanics and electricity to get out, but in the process the guy sees a white sheet by the main switch, laying on the table, he's to it, pulls it off the table, and the demons laying underneath it and laughs at him, the guy is so scared he drops the ax and the lady and him both run like hell.

If I remember right the ending of the movie is them on the very top of the building, not the roof, on of them window cleaning platforms. And there's a police helicopter a little bit away.

If somebody could help me name this the movie in question, that would be incredible, thanks!

Hi guys,

Okay so I remember watching this programme as a kid and it scared the hell out of me but I can remember very little details.. Any help or suggestions or just say hello would be very welcome!!

It's a British show, I can't remember the exact time I saw it but think mid-ish 80's.
Could be a film or tv show....
I vaguely remember the jist as like something similar to the bodysnatchers (I may be way off with this..), it has the feel of a hammer horror but I've searched and can't find it.
At the end, the main person of the show has escaped and they're walking a long a country road (maybe wooded), when they flag down the police (who I think where in a Range Rover type car) they then take them back to where they've escaped from.
I think the copper is actually one of the bad guys and does this slow turnaround creepy look just as the films ending, I know it's not much to go on and I'm clutching at straws but it's driving me mad and I'm curious to see just how scary it was!!!

Anyone, here goes.

I am searching for a show that was on TV in my (early) teens, so we are talking (late eighties/early) nineties. For the members living in either Belgium or the Nethderlands, it was on the Dutch speaking channel (BRT/VRT) on saturdays somewhere 11-11.30ish. I only recall little tidbits here and there, but I cannot remember the title and I thought maybe you could help.

Here are the things I recall:
- It was a British series.
- The episodes centred around one story, usually playing in the country side. At least I cannot remember episodes taking place in big cities like London or Liverpool or what not.
- The opening credits have a red screen with a circle image in the middle.
- The image in the middle seems to be of a fence. Maybe a mansion, but I'm not sure.
- The sets had a bit of an old timey feel to them, so it felt like it might be a bit of an older series dating back to perhaps the sixties.
- The show focused on building up tension, so it did not have many jump scares, except for maybe a holy shit moment at the end.
- It had little or no gore. The show was eerie, rather than gory.
- Big name actors? Not as far as I know. Then again, my knowledge of British actors back then started with Sean Connery and ended with Michael Caine, so that's no real reference. ::wink::

So yeah, not much handy stuff to use for a google search.

I have been looking for this film or tv show for a look time. The scene looks like it takes place in the 90's or 2000's in an RV. A man and woman look like they're going to have sex. She is in her underwear and she says "Don't you want me?" Then the man has bat-wings come out of him and it covers around her. The scene ends with the woman be stripped to the bone. It's been bothering me for months that I cannot recall this movie. I joined this forum just to have you all help me out. I have very vague details and I apologize.

I remember it is modern and definitely not like 10 years old or anything. It is not big budget mainstream but it definitely isn't super low budget. The actors are unrecognizable but the acting was good.

If I had to guess, I believe it happens in a hospital setting and it is humans - no creatures, werewolves, or anything of that sort. It's gory and the violence style is much like the recent "The Void". The best information I can give you is a scene that is ingrained in my brain: there is a scene where a doctor or scientist is writing or doing something at a desk and they notice something about their nails. They casually pick at the nail and it just slowly comes off the finger. I love that scene.

*I may have seen it on Hulu Plus movies section. I went through the selections a few months ago but couldn't find it.
