The first description sounds like the fourth story "the crate" in Creepshow (1982)

I looked it up and it does seem similar, but the other stories don't trigger a thing unfortunately. I have to see it someday though, written by King, directed by Romero and Tom Savini stars in it, shame on me for not knowing about it.

This might be a long shot but...I was round a friend's house a few years ago and caught a few minutes of a horror film which looked really creepy before she changed the channel because she was too scared! I really can't remember too much about it as i had a lot to drink that night! It could of been black & white?! It was set in a dark old house with a group of young people and it had a nasty winged creature/demon with really sharp teeth that was roaming around pouncing on them one by one everytime they split up. The last bit i remember was a character saying something along the lines of 'There's something not right about the house' or 'There's something in the house'. I've been trying to find the name of this film for years, but no joy. If anyone can help me or knows somebody else who may know, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Not alot of it takes place in a house, but considering you said you didn't see much of it I'd chance a guess with Jeepers Creepers. Not black and white of course...but let's face it, you were drunk.

it was about 2002-03 when i saw a movie on sky.
it was about a family that break down in a deserted town in the desert. they find a canyon/reveen full of cars that are stacked in the shape of symbol. also, the mother falls through the floor in to a network of tunnels were she finds boxes of peoples possesions, and then somthing starts to chase her.

if anybody knows the name of this film i would be most greatful if they could tell me.

Oh, I have another one.
This one is about some serial killer who's trying to revive Jesus Christ by piecing together bodyparts of its victims (or something). I saw a few minutes of it years ago during a horror marathon, but there were two different screenings simultaneously and I was just peeking in the other room to see what was going on there.

I loved the first 30 min. or so of Jeepers Creepers btw (that carchase in the beginning was amazing to watch), too bad things took a turn for the worse after that.

From what I can decipher, Resurrection (1999) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0142804/) sounds like it could be your movie.

Kind of makes me think of The Hills Have Eyes, and one of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies.

All Souls Day (2005) maybe? I think it aired on Sci-Fi before that....Could be wrong.

Wolf Creek also comes to mind....These were all out after the date you mentioned though, minus The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Was it a low budget type movie? What kind of car was the family driving?

Now I can't really say for sure as I haven't seen it myself, but considering the similarities to the Hills Have Eyes remake...could this be Hillside Cannibals: The Legend of Sawney Bean?

It's a Hills Have Eyes ripoff that came out around the same time, might be worth looking into.

MissRainbow saw Van Helsing, and I do believe that may have been the last one; I don't remember; it is REALLY GREAT!!! Anyway, does anyone know/remember an old film that was either 50's or 60's; all I remember from it was it is probably an alien monster; there was a nurse walking I think near the woods maybe; at night; this creature talks to her; "I NEED YOU TO HELP ME!" She says in fear, "YOUR FACE!" She runs in fear; the creature chases her; catches her; kills her; takes her face, her clothes, her identity, walks to the house a man lives; supposedly a victim of the monster the night before; asks the people, "YOU'VE BEEN EXPECTING ME?" They say, I think, "YES, HE'S IN HIS ROOM." The creature goes in to talk to the man; the man gets suspicious; somehow, he begins to believe that this nurse is the face/monster he saw last night; the creature says something about last night; the man pulls off the face somehow; the creature wants to kill the man; I think he did; the people in the house manage to kill the monster and they end it I think by saying something about "creatures like this." Does anyone have a clue??? Thank you; May Jesus Christ Guide Your Hearts; Jesus Loves You; He Died For You.

You know what?-Maybe those two old films I asked about were probably from the old series of The Twilight Zone, or The Outer Limits; maybe horror episodes-I don't know; I'm guessing....

It is not "the Birds", but I do not know what else it could be from, and has the film question, which some suggest "the Hills have eyes" could be, been answered yet? Because it could be "the Hills have eyes" sequel or remake. It might not be, but I am just guessing.

It is not the sequel of the remake, that one is about a group of national guardsmen. Might be the remake though (haven't seen that one).

Greetings to you all,
I have this scene in mind that I cannot shake, but cannot put a title to the movie it comes from:confused: Here's what I remember:

A woman is begging for her life and crying, and the man who wants to kill her and has her in his power is imitating her sobs sarcastically, and then he says something like "shut up you bitch, you don't understand, I can't take no pleasure in killing like this - sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, and you don't have to like it" and the woman says "please I'd do anything" and the crying repeats and the imitation and insane laughter. Actually, I think there might have been 2 killers working together.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me remember this. Thanks.

I say a movie on TV when I was a kid. This would have been sometime between 1970 and 1975. It was a black and white movie and since it was on
TV, must have been made in the 40's, 50's or early 60's. The parts I remember are:
It was about a house on a cliff over looking the ocean or a sea.
There were ghosts (more than one) that watched and/or were seen in the mirrors and windows.
They included ghosts of people who had died from going off the cliff or crashing on the rocks below.
I thins it included a scene where one of the living people went through a mirror and was trapped on the mirror image side.
This movie scared me to death as a child and I have been trying to find it again ever since.
It is not "House on Haunted Hill' nor is it "The Uninvited"
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Debbi

I'm just giving this one last go in case it was overread.

Okay, so I saw this movie years ago and I can only give a short description of what I still remember (no big surprise there I reckon).
I believe the movie was actually split up in two stories, in one some creature/monster was locked up in someone's private lab. The scientist who'd done that was all secretive about it and his colleague (or something) got curious and snooped around, suddenly hearing some child crying/asking for help inside some container. Turned out that this was the monster and he helped it to get out without knowing. Not sure what happened next.

The second story was about a man who was in love with some woman, but she couldn't stand him and he figured it was his looks. So he cuts off his hair/nose/ears and lips too I think and starts killing people seeking replacements and "improve" himself. I vividly recall him paying a visit to his object of desire wearing a hat and scarf and telling her he's about to have a fresh start while removing the head first and then the scarf..

Now in the end I think these two stories came together somehow, but it's a bit fuzzy.

Anthology episode: Dream of a coffin, man trapped in a lift?

A woman dreams that her husband is trapped in a coffin. I think the man is a real estate agent about to go on a business trip, and naturally he scoffs at her concerns over this dream. He travels to a large empty house in a remote location. Using the elevator to go upstairs, the lift stops dead trapping him between floors. As in in his wife's dream, the episode ends with the guy screaming "help! help!"; screams which won't be heard as he is alone and no one is expected to check the place out for weeks.

Psychological Thriller About Recurring Dreams

1. The movie was possibly released 1990-1995
2. A man has recurring dreams that begin to make him think he's going crazy.
3. In the dreams his wife often appears unexpectedly wanting to kill him (for instance he dreams he's seeing a therapist and when the therapist turns around it's his wife holding a gun on him).
4. The man worries if he dies in his dream, is it real?
5. In the end, he shoots himself in his dream to wake up, but turns out he was not dreaming (he was awake) and kills himself.

This, also from onother person, being a few monsters sounds more likely a Jap or Harryhausen.

(60's - 80's movie approx). A monster at a dock that looked like a combination between some sort of aquatic creature and a human (not Octaman).
Two monsters clashed with each other at a dock, or the monster tried to commit suicide by using its arms to choke itself.
However, there were other beasts too, which I think lurked beneath the monster. One looked like a cat, and the other maybe a shark. I also remember someone putting the monster in a net, or either tried to put in some sort of device to put it back on the dock.

There were also piles of papers, or what looked like paper, surfaced on top of the water.
Additionally, the monster has a Frankenstein monster shaped head, King Kong like nostrils, one or maybe three big exposing teeth, and a fish-like mouth; it also had smoke coming out of its nostrils, I think. ;)

I found what I was looking for.

I asked about a severed head on a ground. It was actually a severed head (I got that right) on a table. It is from "Virus" (1999).

The aquatic-like monster that I thought was on a dock is actually a robot put on a table, it came back to live, but was killed. It is from "Virus" (1999). (I was right about the support beam and the papers on the ground, though)

The monster who I thought had worms crawling across his face is actually a corpse lying in a coffin who has worms slithering on his face (he still had worms on his face). It is from a bonus clip of the director's cut of "the Frighteners" (1996).

At first, I was wondering why no one knew this clips, but I was way off with the information, thanks anyways.

I saw this movie around 1992 but I only remember bits and pieces of it. All of what I remember played out in a skyscraper. There's demons there trying to capture this child in red clothes.

In one scene the child looks in a mirror and the mirror image starts moving on it's own and holds the child stuck to the mirror. There's also an old man outside the window pretending to be a normal window cleaning guy but is actually also a demon. When the childs parents see the demons they grab the child and try to flee. They come to the bottom floor of the skyscraper which is a parking lot. All the cars here are frozen in ice. Once they start to move among the cars they "wake up" and try to run them over.

That's all I remember. Anyone know which movie it is?

I'm looking for a title here guys. It's going to be a challenge.

I saw this movie in 2002-2003 and it was still on the New Release shelf of the local video store. The store has since been renamed and restocked, getting rid of all of their less popular movies.

The plot was as follows: A group of independent researchers go to a local mansion that is supposedly haunted by the female slave owner and slaves that resided there. The entire film was shot with hand-held cameras in night vision.

Needless to say, the movie was low budget and pretty awful. A few key scenes I remember are: The chandelier on the first floor falls, nearly missing one of the crew members - in the attic, a guy's foot goes through the floorboards and he pulls out a decomposing arm - they find a secret passageway through the back of a bedroom closet, where they discover their missing friends chained to tables. They then proceed to free their friends and flee from the house.

While I can't remember the exact name, I know the title had something to do with "Francis (or Frances) Hill". I can't find any info whatsoever online.

Thanks.

A friend of mine and I are trying to find the name of a movie that we saw when we were little kids about 11-13 years ago or so. It would have been made in the late 80's or early 90's I'm guessing, but I really have no idea for sure.

I was too young to get the overall plot (I think we were maybe 10 or 11), but of the things I remember: a man killed and buried some woman's (maybe his daughter's?) illegitimate child, and then I think she might have killed him and he spent the rest of the movie haunting her basically.. It was so long ago and I was so young that like I said I'm extremely fuzzy on most of it.. I do remember there being one of those deals where they tried to conjure up a spirit, but what we both remember the most was the very end of the movie in one of those retardedly cliche moments.. after everything seemed to be fine and settled, the woman went to her bed and was about ready to go to sleep and just on an inkling she checked under the bed, and the guy (maybe just his head, lol) of course was under it as it cut to the credits..

Sorry I can't be more specific than that. Any ideas? I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

Hello all, I read a horror book a couple of years ago but can't remember the name of it or the author so I am hoping somebody on this site might know and be able to help me.
I think it goes something like this.
There's a truck driver that drives through a town and he stops for some reason and maybe has a run in with the law, but on the way out picks up a girl hitching a lift and trying to escape the town.
The story is about her trip in the truck and the people in this town which are led by her family I believe, and the sheriff might be her father, and somehow she turns into a monster.
I don't know if this makes any sense to anybody.

Thanks, Neil.

Starts out with two panicked parents coming home and killing themselves. Before the mother killed herself she carved a number her son's hand. It is the vault number where some unknown terror exists.

Twenty or thirty years later a facility is being decommissioned all of the vaults are examined for any threat. The kid with the carving shows up and tells them not to open vault X, whatever it is. The vault has already been cleared, but upon a second look there is a secret compartment. When it's opened it releases an unstoppable vine or plant or something like that.

Hello all, I'm trying to find a film I watched when I was younger, I have a very vague memory of it. I would love to see it again before I forget completely about it.

What I remember is that it starts off with a motorcyle or car accident and then the people involved are taken to a lab somewhere close where they are helped, think the boyfriend dies but then he comes back alive, like a zombie. This bit makes me think it's Cronenberg's Rabid.
However I remember one other scene is where a group of them are travelling through the sewers and they're about to climb out/up and one of them who is infected or something suddenly mutates, his neck grows abnormally long and he starts attacking his counterparts. Unfortunately that's all I remember.

Anyone any idea?

I've been looking for the title of this movie for decades. When I was a kid in the early 80s, I saw on TV a 70s sci fi / horror film that is the scariest movie I ever saw. I only remember a few things from it:

a tall brown haired, cleanshaven caucasian man sitting down taking instructions via a monitor from something gray/silver that looks like a 12-sided die. He takes instructions to kill.

a dock, small, like in a lake or pond

Any idea what movie this is?

fortunato - yhanks for that.

A guy on an MMA actually found that out too - their part of a series called 'The Dogville shorts' funny and distrubing at the same time.

Dogville Comedies, a popular series of 1929-1931 short subjects created by Zion Myers and Jules White (noted 3 STOOGES director). In these one-reel shorts, trained dogs dressed as people acted out the plots of popular movies of the day!
9 shorts were made.

Someone please help me figure out this movie, or made for TV movie. It was a long time ago, so I have very little details on the movie, it had to be from the late 80's early 90's. The only thing I can remember about it that their was this little troll like think that lived in the wall and tried to take a girls (maybe even a baby) breath away at night. I thought maybe it was Cat's Eye, but it wasn't and I even rented Troll 1 and 2 and it wasn't them. This has been bugging me for years and I need to know! Someone please help! Thanks in advance!

It IS Cat's Eye. The scene described is from the last segment, with Drew Barrymore as the girl.

Anyone know what movie this is? It was a "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer" type movie with Henry, Otis, and Becky, but I don't believe it was actually Portrait of a Serial Killer 1 or 2. All I remember was a scene where Henry and Otis were fixing some lady's air conditioner in her home. She walks into her bedroom to find Otis standing at the mirror putting on makeup and looking very disturbing. They proceed to dispatch of her. I think another scene earlier in the movie was Henry staying at the house of maybe a doctor and his daughter. Things didn't turn out too well for them either. Sound familiar to anyone?

Well, since Otis was only in the first one on account of Henry killing him, I'm gonna go ahead and guess that's the one you were talking about?
That said couldn't tell you what scene it was, I found 'em both completely shithouse and committed next to nothing to memory.

Right - I don't think it was one of the Henry: Portrait series films. I think it had a different name - same characters.

Found it. It was Confessions of a Serial Killer (1985). The characters' names were changed (not Henry and Otis), but it was definitely about them. This is much grittier and creepier than the more popular Portrait films.

During all these years my memories faded, and maybe my mind added a few things to synopsis of this 90's movie or horror TV show. I'm sorry about that...
I can remember the man who comes on house party. While entering the house, he is stopped by the familiar voice from the backyard dark which says him not to enter, but he ignores it. During the party, things become strange, it seems that people can't stop dancing, and after a while some of them freeze and stand still. Man is scared and tries to escape, but doors and windows are broken. He manages to reach a roof of the house through fireplace, jumps on a tree near the house walls and falls on the ground. While getting up he looks at the house and its main entrance and sees himself entering in. He screams ''No, don't go there!'' and collapses...
I appreciate any help, thanks in advance!

Greetings folks! 20 years ago or so I saw a film which creeped me out thoroughly at the time. Anyway, there are two scenes I remember: In one scene you have a bunch of sadistic kids chasing a girl, and they end up killing her rabbit. In the other scene the same girl is lying in her bed, and she hears someone knocking on the window. She gets up, goes over to the window, and nobody`s there. Gets back to bed, and she hears the same knocking sound again. Again, nobody`s there. Hears it a third time, and suddenly an insane old woman appears. That`s all I can remember unfortunately. Hope you can help! Cheers!

Hello, new guy here. I'm trying to find out the name of a movie I seen years ago but I only remember one small part of it. It's a sequence where a few people are shown in their homes with their families murdered by them. I remember a specfic scene where a family is sitting at a breakfast or dinner table and the father and child are dead, in a pool of their own blood at the table, while the mother is cleaning off a knife or something. For a while I thought the sequence was from Lord Of Illusions when the cult followers realize Nix has risen from the dead and decide to kill their families and re-join him at the compound. But I just watched it on TV and that scene never took place. It seems that the people who murdered their own family members were involved in a cult or something. But I don't remember anything other than that sequence. So maybe one of you horror buffs might have an idea of what I'm talking about. One can only hope. Thanks...

The movie i'm thinking about is made between 200 and 2007.
The opening scene a sexy girl who is a satanic witch wears a padded short skirt and has her black hair in pig tails.

She walks into either a book store or a weird shop that sells witchcraft stuff.

She talks to the black store keeper about a satanic rituals book. He asks her for more money but she argues about not paying a penny more. Finally she pulls out her lunch box that contains her money and pays the guy.

Later the sexy witch is in her bedroom trying to summon a demon but instead summons the spirit of her dead mother that warns her not to do it. And tells her that she is foolish in the satanic arts.

She asks her friend to walk with her into some woods and help her summon a demon. After doing so the demon kills her.

Does anyone know the title of this movie?

I have been looking for a movie forever, so maybe you guys can help me...

My girlfriend and a few of her friends saw a movie about ten years ago, and all they can give me are vague details...maybe one of you can help..

-At the end of the movie, the killer is stalkin his victim up the stairs...she screams out: "Why are you doing this" in which he replies, "There once was a little girl, who had a little curl, and when she was good, she was very very good, but when she was bad she was horrid"

-After that the screen goes blank and the words "This movie had no real plot" appeared.

thats all i got, but these girls swear they all saw this movie, and had rented it from a rental shop, so it wasnt a local film or anythin.

Thanks for your help!

Ther where lots of people being killed off and heads found in fridge etc..

I know its vague and generic hence trouble finding it! My sister insists it was called House Party but I cant find anything by that name anywhere.

It is about a couple who loose a child and dabble in black magic to bring him back.

The kid doesn't com back, he sends satan instead.

the film is only about 45mins long.

Can anyone please tell me what it is called? Where i can get a copy etc???

Strangely enough, two anthology films each have a segment based on the same story.

TRILOGY OF
TERROR II
(1996) (TV)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117966/
Story 2/ "Bobby"
The plot revolves on a deeply saddened mother reverting to black magic to revive her recently deceased son who fell out of his bedroom widow and drowned in the ocean. It works, but Bobby returns as an aggressive and foul-mouthed psycho with a desire to send his own mother to hell.

DEAD OF NIGHT
(1977) (TV)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075917/
Story 3/ "Bobby" - (30 minutes)
A lady is staying alone in a beach house, while her husband is on a business trip. So during one stormy night she decides to perform a magic ritual to hopefully bring back her dead son who accidentally drowned. Nothing happens for a while, but then she hears a knock on the door and there sits a shivering and soaking-wet Bobby.

Both films directed by Dan Curtis, story by Richard Matheson.

Dead of Night is on DVD
Trilogy of Terror II not yet, except DVD-R's of the VHS, sometimes with TOT.

Hello guys,

I´m in need you some help to try and find a couple of movies i´ve watched back in the 70´s.

THE First one i´m pretty sure i first watched back in 77.

It begins with a woman entering a house and bringing something to (or visiting ???) a man.

HE TAkes a book, puts on her face and she burns, beeing then trown in some kind of fireplace in the midde of the room. He then say she was a succubus.

There was an ancient house, a stairwell, huge doors and the body os a guy mumyfied behind one of the doors holding half of a seal (that is only shown at the end the movie)

I remember vaguelly that the house had a shaft or something that led to stonehange and some druids ???

The guy (someones brother /??) that´s the host of the house turns into a dragon/demon in the end and I think they have to lock it behind those huge doors.

THIS guy resembles Roddy Mcdowall as far as I remember, but I´ve checked his filmography and found nothing like it.

THE other one may be a little more recent.

I remember of a school, a demon, a priest and a scene on a pool in wich the possessed guy (The priest ?) let out burnt paper from his mouth.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks.

I vaguely remember a horror movie that a friend and I watched at his house maybe 6 or 7 years ago and I can't remember what it's about so I'll try to explain as best I can because I'd like to try to remember what it's called. It starts with some kids testing a horror video game at some company. I think they were developing a robot that started killing the people at the company and then it used it's victims body parts as it's own. Some black dude was killed and his head ended up being the robot's head. That's literally all I remember. Does anyone know the title of this movie? Thanks.

EDIT: I think it may have been called Evolver.

EDIT: No, it's not Evolver actually. I just saw a clip on the internet. The plot seems very similar though. But I think the one I saw was newer. It may also be worth mentioning that this is one of the most ridiculous movies I've ever seen next to Camp Blood 2.

I'm looking for the name of an awesome horror movie I saw about 10 years ago (it's probably from the 80's) . I don't remember the story, only a few scenes :
- a guy playing basketball with his own head
- a group fighting off demons with their own accessories (1 guy had a water gun filled with holy water)
- at the end of the movie when they battle the strongest demon it transforms into a snakelike beast
-in the final scene a girl picks up some lipstick, a snake emerges from it and the credits start rolling

I know I'm being very vague here, but i hope someone out there knows what I'm talking about :p

There is a movie that is in the 80's era. I was a kid but it had to be mid 80's, but there are some chicks, I believe 1 of them was black possibly, but she tries on a tribal mask in like an antique shop and she was playing around with it. She went to take the mask off and it cuts her face, she later on turns in to some kind of beast or monster that kills off her friends, I believe in one scene, some kids were having sex or making out in a theater when they are attacked and that is all I remember, I went through rows and rows of movies and none of them rings any kinds of bells. If any one can help please let me know, it is an unknown horror film, but I need some horror movies fans to help me please, I am going crazzzzzzyyyyyy!!!

Thanks for responding, I have never seen or heard of this movie but I do see it on the full list of 80's horror, I will have to check that out anyway, the theater thing may sound familiar in the plot but I am not sure, then again I could be mixing the movies up, but in this movie, does a chick get cut on the face by a tribal mask, like maybe a voodoo mask or something, that is the clearest picture I do recall and she turns into a beast not a zombie....

Another movie if you please.... All I know is it is a costume party at an old mansion and people are being killed left and right by an undead monster man creature still living in the spooky mansion. At the end of the movie, the lone survivor chick tries to escape, but the monster is lying in the hall in front of the door and he has the keys to the front gate for her to get out in his hands, I think she had a shotgun too, she is wearing a torn costume dress from the 17 or 1800's, the movie may have been late 70's early 80's though...

I revised my other post, since you were so good at that one, is it possible that you know the other movie i am talking about as well. The movies were so cheesy, but they don't make it like that anymore and when the new movies and music sucks, you go to the old ones, acting was horrible too lol....

Third question, I love Hello Mary Lou Prom Night 2, have been watching it for years, what is the first part of the movie or is this just a title, the old Prom Night movie could not be the first, doesn't fit, so where is Hello Mary Prom Night 1....lol...

Hi all,
I saw part of a film last year and can't remember what it was called. I'm going to make this more difficult by admitting to being an idiot because I can't remember if it was English or not, but my gut instinct says it was foreign.
Anyway, the plot involves a girl who is kidnapped and locked in a basement then tortured on a daily basis, beatings, cutting etc in order for the group of people to find out what it is like to be as close as possible to death. At the end, an older woman comes in to find out what she has to say about death, the woman then shoots herself.
I'd love to find it if possible.

Thanks

I know it is annoying to ask, but I need help with a horror film title. I watched this movie at the dead of night, almost ten years ago. It seemed british/uk to me, as everyone seemed to have an accent.

The plot, from what I can remember, is a group of friends are in a large house/estate in the countryside. At the beginning of the film, its announced that a group of people have been murdering people and filming it, and they call themselves by a particular name, but I can't remember the name. The group of friends are murdered one by one, until its revealed one of the friends is part of this group and has been the one murdering everyone. I know at one point they end up at a movie theater and the serial killer cult are in the theater. The scenes were somewhat bloody, and the movie seemed pretty recent.

I know that was a weird plot, but it is all I can remember. If anyone can help with the title I would like to check it out again.

I'm 99.999% pretty sure this is some 1980's/early 90's straight to VHS movie. So i'm really not expecting an answer, but it doesn't hurt to try.

I saw this movie when I was very small (must be almost 20 yrs ago) and I just remember it scaring the **** out of me. I think it was a horror movie, but to tell you the truth i'm not entirely sure.

This is all that I remember about it (and even this is probable not accurate):

A little girl rolls her ball into her basement and I think a gremlin/creature lives down there.

It takes the form of the girl and lives with her family.

The possessed girl wears a ring and she stabs a guy with the ring and turns him into a giant caterpillar.

Really weird post. But I'd really like to know what it is, so even if you don't know would you be able to provide suggestions of where I might possibly be able to find out.

Thanks.

For the past couple of months I've been trying to remember the name to a horror movie I watched when i was younger. Im guessing its from the 1970's or 80's...it def has a lot of cheese factor to it :p lots of ooze and gooze

From what I remember..

Its about this guy who lives with either his mother or grandmother. The "mother" gets attacked by an animal and has a bite mark that later gets infected. Because of the infection she becomes very rabid and zombie like. The "son" tries to keep it a secret while the "mother" lures people to the house..she turns them to zombies like her by putting infection from her cut in their soup ( i think she attacks them as well).

During all this the "son" locks the victims in the basement so they wont leave the house and attack others...the "son" later cracks up and goes to in the basement to kill the zombies with a lawnmower or chainsaw (something along those lines)

If anyone has any ideas of what it could be pleasseee let me know! I keep thinking its called House on Tombstone Hill but it's not that. The past few days ive been watching a lot of old horror movies and I've been craving to watch it for so long now but i cant find anything about it. My roomate is starting to believe it doesnt even exist :S

I'm hoping someone here can help me out with tracking down a film I saw back in 1994-95. I got it as part of a double/triple VHS pack, gave it to a pal to watch and never saw it again! For the life of me I can't remember the title of any of the films. I don't know if the pack was a pirate as one of the films was a movie called "Mirage" I think, but I can't find an official release copy of this anywhere. I did get hold of this on revengeismydestiny but wasn't the film I was looking for.

It was a teen slasher film based in a creepy house and was made at, a guess, 1989 to 1991 judging by the style of the film.

The only real thing I can recall is that there was a stereotypical creepy house on the cover and the cast were positioned around the front sleeve (one of the female stars had a pair of ripped jeans on - she was on bottom right on the cover)

Hopefully one of you can help me out with this.

Tnx!

It's similar in plot to Happy Hell House as fair as I recalled - a group of students decide to party in a disused, derelict house. All is going well until they start to get knocked off one by one. The murdered turns out to be a nerd that the group wronged previously and looked a bit like the guy with the glasses from Parker Lewis Can't Lose, I think....

Hi, I've been desperately trying to find what looked like a horror movie that I only really saw the very end of. It took place in some town where it was winter and some underground monster had been like taking over the people or something like that. I remember there was an old British man who reminded me of Ian Mckellan who at one point called out to this ancient monster or whatever in the street and suddenly hundreds of vacantly staring people appeared in the middle of the street out of nowhere.

I also remember that the army was there and there was a scene where a dog walked into a church, whom one of the army grunts started to pet. It suddenly shot these tentacle-like things out of its back and attacked the soldiers, whose bullets didn't harm it at all. Whenever the tentacles stabbed into one of the soldiers (all of whom were wearing hazmat suits) the monster took them over. Apparently it was after a scientist in the church whom it then talked to through one of the controlled soldiers. The very end of the movie had the old British man talking about how the monster was underground and wasn't an alien, it had always lived on Earth. That's all I can really remember and I'm not 100% sure what I remember is all correct. Any help would be really appreciated, it's driving me crazy.

Sounds like Phantoms, if so that "British Man" was freakin' Peter O'Toole!

That looks like the movie, thanks for the help. So next question, is it actually any good? I didn't get to see much, like I said, and while it looked interesting I don't want to rent it only to learn it's not very good.

Some people hate it, I dug it, lots of fun and actually reminded me of the first Silent Hill game in the beginning. Not for everybody.

Have a buddy trying to find a film and I have no idea what he's talking about. He said that some escaped prisoners head into an abandoned warehouse for refuge, but when they get inside they're trapped. Their unidentified captors toss weapons down into the room and they have to fight each other to the death. Any ideas?

So the movie I need help with is from the last 70s, early 80s. If I am remember the movie correctly. They are black space slugs that enter humans through the back of the neck. I recall a scene were one of the guy characters wakes up in bed and the bed is completely covered in blood because one of the slugs entered him in the middle of the night without him knowing.

I think this was also a scene in the movie but I am a bit fuzzy on it. I thought I remembered a scene where the guy pulls the slug out of the back of his neck and places it in the bathroom sink and it speaks to him.

The movie is not Shivers or Night of the Creeps.

When i was young there was a movie that i watched a ton, but now that i am older i can not remember the name. The movie came out sometime between 1980-to early 1990's.
Here is what i remember.
The movie started with a grandfather telling a story to the main character a small boy who would be moving to a new house with his family, on the trip to there new house they see a hitchhiker and pull over but before he could make it to the car they pull away. When they arrive at there house the town starts bringing them strange food always green ( Green jello Green cake/ pie w.e) and when the family eats it they turn into some sort of green goo that the town/ monsters eat. I dont remember much else other than the people were monster like and ran by some woman who ran a church.

IF Anyone remembers this movie PLEASE PLEASE help me out, i have been troubled by this for years.

There was a movie I saw a few years ago in which a family gets lost on a road trip and unspecified strange things begin the happen and the road keeps on going with no end in sight. The most notable part was when they turned on the radio and the only station available broadcasted the sound of several babies crying, and at the end, it turned out they were dead to begin with, or so I think. I keep thinking it had something in the title that referred to making a wrong turn, but it is not the movie "Wrong Turn."

I seen it maybe about 4-5 months ago and do not remember the name and only seen it from about the middle on...

There's this girl who has a daughter (I think) and she drowns at some lake or something like that. Then she has another child which is a boy (I think) and through the whole movie she swears he is trying to kill her and everybody thinks she is crazy. She sets up cameras to record her baby and at the end she kills him or he kills her I forget in the woods with all these people trying to find her. Then the very last scene it shows one of the recordings of the baby in the crib and it skips and shows him on the floor crawling then skips again and shows him walking then one more time and he smashes the camera.

Hello everyone, i'm looking for a movie that I watched years ago.
I think that movie is happening in some mental hospital. Well some doctor (main character - I don't remember his name) goes crazy through the movie, as I remember he sees some man that is probably devil or Satan but in form of the man. I remember that at the end of the movie everything goes gray and he sees all the people that he known. I think that at the end of the movie he sees hell...
I also remember that this ''doctor'' near the end of the movie sees a woman bringing flowers (or something like that) for which he later finds out he is actually that man (that is devil or satan).

I think that main character is black and the person that plays the human form of the devil is caucasian.

I know that description really sucks but you should get the idea.

Yeah...I think I've seen this movie. Isn't it attached to some kid/young adult, and he ends up keeping it under his bed and feeding people to it? I think maybe even his mom and his boss maybe? I seem to remember somebody on a toilet and the creature getting him....i don't remember the name, and it is 1AM, but I sent a text message to the guy I rented it with, hopefully he can remember....if that sounds like the film you are talking about...

No, it's definitely not Hell Night. I thought it might have been Happy Hell Night and bought that.

Based on this it sounds a LOT like "Slaughter High." But the front cover certainly looks nothing like you described it. Maybe getting the cover and the actual film confused?

The scene that has never left me is at this indoor swimming pool in an old mansion. There are people staying at the house - not sure why or how many. In the scene, there is someone swimming in the pool when it glasses over and the person is trapped beneath. That is the only thing I remember from this movie. I hope this enough to get the title of this movie - it's been driving me crazy for a loooong time.

Sounds like "The Legacy." It is about 30 years old, which easily fits your time frame. Unfortunately, it is not very good, and quite dull, but that's what it sounds like. Does have Sam Elliott in it though.

Looking for an 80s or 90s horror film, similar to Tales from The Crypt: Demon Knight, believe it had the same 'demon' creature effects. All about a bus ride to hell. There are monsters living in the catacombs of a graveyard. One gentleman, whom I can remember always wearing a black leather jacket, gets caught up in the mix with this monster/demon society and turns himself into one. There was a guy/monster with a half-moon shaped head. Every monster had their own monstrosities and different abilities. Their ended up being a battle between monsters and man in the end. I think all of it may have started over a girl. Late '80s early '90s film. Anything?

As a complete stab in the dark I will say "Chillers," (1987) although it isn't very similar to Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight, it's more of an anthology film similar to Creepshow.

Ok so I know this is a bit of a long shot but I really want to remember the name of a movie I saw a good 10 years ago.

From what I can remember the plot revolved around a video tape that, when watched, somewhow brought the dead back to life. I think part of it took place in woodland somewhere and at one point there was a chainsaw being used as a weapon.

And that's about all I can remember. It was probably from the 80's but I could well be wrong. I rented it on VHS from this crappy rental store in my town which closed not long after and I've been looking for it ever since.

So yeah if anyone can shed some light on it then it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

About two years ago I watched a horror movie (probably on HBO or Showtime) and I can't remember the name! I'm hoping I can describe what I remember and maybe someone can lead me in the right direction. I'll try to keep it brief.

A weathered looking blonde american woman travels to her birth place, Russia (I believe it was because she got a letter saying she inherited property there). She has a daughter in the states that she leaves behind. She travels to an isolated, run down house in the middle of the night. Her guide disappears and she's on her own. She meets a man at the house who we find out is her brother.... they begin to see ghosts of themselves and other crazy stuff. Turns out they were brought there by the ghost of their father who wishes to trap them on the property.

Any idea of the name of this movie? Thanks so much, it's been driving me crazy!

It was about a bunch of teenagers who bunk off school and go to a forest, but they somehow (memory blank ) end up in this underground place, and the exit gets blocked or something. Then they one by one try to get out, but when they do they never come back. And one of the girls gets rescued at the end.

It was made in the 90's, maybe an indie or HBO movie

It's about a serial killer with a yellow mask (facepaint?) going around killing by the bible. It's been a long time but I think the movie ends with the killer trying to kill a baby in a hospital on easter. Also, I think (not sure) that the killer turns out to be one of the agents working on the case.

Like I said, I've only seen this movie once but it left a strong impression on me. I've been looking for the name of it for almost 10 years. You are the friggin' man if you can tell me the name of this movie

"SUMMER SCARS"....maybe http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0847527/

Sounds like it could be it, but it's not. This movie was shown on TV in Poland before this movie was released. And it was shown at least twice. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. Was this film a remake or something? Because it sounds similar. I only remember it vaguely, it wasn't very memorable.

Hey. You probably know the reason why I'm posting in this thread so here it goes - it was a movie made in the 90's. It was about a bunch of teenagers who bunk off school and go to a forest, but they somehow (memory blank ) end up in this underground place, and the exit gets blocked or something. Then they one by one try to get out, but when they do they never come back. And one of the girls gets rescued at the end.

Sorry, I know this isn't much, but it's been bugging me for a couple of days now.

The Hole. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0242527/).......................

I've been looking for the name of this movie for almost a decade. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know what being the "friggin' man" garners me, hopefully a gift in the mail, but at the very least hopefully a reply to this thread that says something like, "Holy shit, I can't believe you knew that."

ANYWAY, I'd say with 90% certainty you are looking for "The Resurrection" starring Christopher Lambert.

Okay, I saw a movie sometime in the mid to late 80s, maybe even early 90s. I don't remember much, but...

I think it was made either in Australia or New Zealand. Really just a guess, but the accents and dialect used make me fairly sure.

Other than that, I only remember one scene, but what a scene it was.

A pregnant woman is lying on her bed. Suddenly we're blasted by heavy metal music as the camera zooms down from the ceiling until it hovers right above her. We can then see that the baby has been ripped from her, the torn edges of skin around her hollow stomach flapping back and forth. I can still hear the sound the flapping skin made, sort of like a fish flopping on a wooden dock. I also recall that the camera lingered above the empty woman for a long time, allowing us to soak in the true horror of what just happened. It was a very powerful and gory scene.

I don't think it was a good movie overall, but the scene mentioned above has stuck with me over the years. Anybody recognize it?

I haven't actually seen it myself, so I can't say for 100% sure...but based on the description, that sounds a lot like Antropophagus (The Beast):
