Hi guys,

I'm new here because i just searched on google for a Horror Forum which has lot's of people and activity. I'm on the search for this movie now for several years. The idea that i can't remember this movie anymore makes me crazy because i really want to see it again.

What i know is that it was kind of mix between Deranged and The Texas Chainsaw. This is what i remember:

Teenagers, crazy family.... eating on table with this family... cannibalism???... escaping in this house, crawling through secret rooms and hallways... bones...treasure.... escaping to the backyard which is full with cars (car cemetary??) crazy brothers (deformed?) trying to catch the girl/teenagers....
all in all... one escaped... the cops arrest this cannibal family..... maybe an open end that the family escaped...???

It's all vague and blurry but maybe someone sees some similarities with a movie.

Thanks

Hello guys here! I'm a new comer. Expect everyone to help!!!
Do you guys know a movie telling about.. an elder priest used his red blood to paint on the doors protecting everybody in a big house from an evil demon... If the blood stains had faded away, the doors would have lost theirs effectiveness. At the end of the movie, when this priest ran out of his blood, he'd taught a girl (the only one left and survived) how to fight against the evil before he passed away. I don't remember much anymore. Maybe this movie was made in 2000s. I wanna know the name of its..
Tnx for helping me!

Ok.. Weird question.. My friend and I were discussing horror movies from when we watched many years ago.. We both remember this movie where I believe at the beginning theres a guy in a morgue/funeral home working on a dead ladys body.. n it was so funny to us cuz he was making a chugga chugga chugga sound until he reached her nipple, then he said choo choo... like a train.. If anyone remembers this please help me out. It's been an ongoing topic for at least 3 years and I cant find it...

I remember watching this possibly 80's movie as a child in the early 90's. All I remember about it is a graveyard scene with a severed hand chasing a woman and ending scene with this woman having her breasts bared and doing some kind of strip tease etc. This is all I can recall, but it really has bothered me for years now that I haven't found the movie. Does this ring any bells..?

This robot was onl about 1-2 feet tall. I think.
and a man in this movie had a volkwagen beetle.

These kids, a boy and girl are grown up and they go back to the cabin where there parents were killed when they were young then they go back in time to try to stop the murder. It is driving me crazy, I really want to see this movie!

My father has a memory of a film (probably pre-1960) about an old woman with some sort of implement (hook?) for a hand murdering people in the woods. That's the only clues I have. Any ideas what it could be?

^ No clue on that one, Wick...I'm not so good with the oldies...

I have a question about a movie i've seen pieces of in the last year or so. I believe its less than 5 years old. I remember the beginning distinctly but had other things going on at the time and only saw pieces. What I saw was very disturbing and graphic so I will do my best to keep this post PG-13.

The very beginning of the movie a man lying in bed hears a knock on the door to his room. When he answers a naked woman is standing there and she throws herself at the man. They start doing what grown up men and women do...;)

Halfway through the "deed" the man looks in the mirror and the woman has turned into a hideous man. This naked hideous man has an abnormally large package....The man who opened the door is then "prison loved"...To death if memory serves correctly.

Another part I remember is a different hideous man, obesely fat, is running naked down a hallway(he also has an enormous member)...

Sorry for the graphic post but its driving me nuts trying to remember the name...And also, is it worth watching the whole thing?

Nobody is gonna guess this, but

I saw a movie when I was VERY little, I don't even know if it's a horror or what, but I remember 1 scene:

A woman laying in a bathtub and suddenly the small "figures/miniatures" standing on the bathtub all around her comes to life and "kills" her [I think].

Lmao, but this is all I remember. :D

Alright, here's a REAL head scratcher.

I was a little drunk, up at 3AM watching some hosted horror show on the local Austin public access channel. They were presenting a werewolf movie. The movie looked like it took place in the middle east, had a couple of sex scenes in it and was a super 70s B movie. The characters were in caves trying to track down these werewolves and were dressed in middle eastern attire, but had vests on kinda like in Planet of the Apes. Very weird.

I remember it being really good, but passed out from one too many Lone Stars.

This movie sounds familiar to everyone right??

Thanks for any help. :)

Alright, it was about a girl (around 20yo) who had her skin falling off, she then returns to her original family/area. This (skin falling off) is a curse and happens at the dry seasons, to stop the dry seasons they have to offer someone. In this case this family (of the girl) has to offer her brother (not sure) and kill it in the bathtube. She refuses and other families start picking on this family for failing to offer.

You actually see these monsters (human shaped in clothes) a few times and sometime in the middle of the movie they kill one person that is bound on a pole.

I think it is roughly 5 years old (max 10yo), and it isn't a great/highly rated/welknown movie I think. But I want to rewatch it because I liked it pretty much :).

Can someone please, please help me? Thanks in advance!

I remember watching an old horror movie but for the life of me I can not remember the name of it.

It was where there was a cafe owner that used human meat in the food but with a bit of a twist. They would bury the people/victims up to their necks in the ground behind the cafe. When the meat was ready they would run the lawnmower over the heads of the buried people.

Any help on this one?

Thanks

This might be a tricky one, but I'm sure you're up to the challenge.

I've got a few DVDs from Arrow Video (a UK distributor who've released tons of cult, exploitation and 70's/80's horror titles for the last couple of years) and before some of the films there's a trailer for Arrow themselves and it shows clips of various films they distribute.

There's one clip I saw, only a few seconds long, of a gun being held to a woman's cheek and when the shot goes off, it cuts to a slow-motion (looks like early CGI) shot of the bullet entering the cheek with the perspective being from inside her head.

Again, not much to go on, but...

Ok long shot but does anyone know a horror from the 70s I think. I can't remember much but I think it was a similar set up to "April Fool's Day" (1986) in that a group of people go to an isolated house and get "killed" off. The main murder weapon was a walking cane with an end that resembled a hammer but with a very side to it. I remember a scene of it smashing glass. You don't see much of the killer but I think it was an old woman though you couldn't see much of her. Sorry to be so vague but I'm relying on dodgy long term memory from watching it on TV years ago. I was convinced it was actually April Fool's Day but it wasn't that or Mother's Day either

First of all I'm french canadian, sorry for my english.

I remember watching this horror movie when I was young, I was born in 1989 and I think I was about 7-9 yr old when I saw it. The movie could be older. The range of he movie production's date could be around 1985 to 1997. Even tho I think 1997 is wayyyy to recent for this movie.

All I remember from this movie is: A man in a mansion, with monsters. The monsters were actually humans and they look'd really weird, not werewvoles and
vampires but some ugly ass monsters. One looked round, like a fur ball with 2 tentacles that he could ''shoot''. One looked like a bat... but an ugly fucking bat.

The film ends with the guy, the main hero, who escaped the monsters telling his story to some people, and those people were the monsters, but he didnt know.

I know this may seems weird but it's all I remember and I've been doing my research on wikipedia horror movie list.

Please help me, if you know something, let me know.

Hi guys and girls,

I am a newbie, joining today and I thought what better way to start my journey within this forum than to ask about 2 films i have not been able to remember the title of for many years. I come to you, my fellow horror fans in the forlorn hope that you may be able to assist me with your vast knowledge of the genre. Thanks

Film 1: (Brief Outline) -
An alien cult type of flick

The film features the following story aspects:

A family of a mother, father and a teenage son move to a town where strange things are happening. There is an alien cult that has some of the locals as followers. The head honcho is a weird looking middle aged guy with glasses (looks a little bit like the chief vampire in the LOST BOYS). The mom (who has Demi Moore in GI Jane short hair) gets controlled by seemingly mind control. There is a scene where her teenage son is looking through a crack in the door at her mom being verbally abused by another female who has been taken over already...and yet in an apparent comatosed state, the mother doesn't react. The same woman who does the abusing here has killed people and one of her victims is discovered by a blonde haired man in her appartment. Her reaction to being found out is to grab the guy by the neck and say something like "I'm not like alot of the women out there. I am more powerful, more in control!", seemingly staring at the guy intently to hypnotise him and convert him aswell.

The mother and father know that this cult want their son to be a member too and so they make frequent efforts to encourage their son to leave town, to no avail. A female vigilante type is on the loose also, looking to destroy these aliens and she eventually joins forces with the teenage son to find the aliens.

Amongst the aliens in the cult is a little blonde haired girl with platted hair. In one of the last scenes of the film, the aliens are meeting as they usually do and they try to get the teenage son to join who is in attendance. His father runs towards his son to help him escape but the little girl with great strength squeezes his hand so hard, she temporarily immobilizes him. The boys' mom shouts at him for not getting away sooner.

That is about all i can remember of the film. Can anyone shed any light on its title? Thanks

Film 2:
Superhuman strength girl film.

This is going to be very brief indeed. The only scene i remember in this film is that a woman with superhuman strength corners one of the main guys in the film in a barn somewhere. He manages to escape and makes it to a car. The girl catches up to him and with one hand, rips the bonnet completely off the front of the car.

I don't know if the girl is an alien or a robot in this one!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks loads

hi!

a few months ago i stumbled across the trailer of a movie on youtube that i found interesting. somehow i managed to forget the name. here's what i remember:

the movie is about a man who lives in a somewhat sombre quarter of a city (i guess somewhere in england) who starts to believe that the hooded persons (probably youths or gangs) he observes in the streets hanging around or spraying singns on walls are really some sort of occult or satanistic group. i think it remains unclear wether it is just his imagination or reality but he starts to feel like he has to fight those demonic figures. i'm also pretty sure that there is a love interest involved in the plot, perhaps a woman who doesn't see what he thinks he's seeing, leading to complications etc. ...

would be cool if somebody knew this movie, i think the plot is quite cool :) .

Okay...I got one and this is probably a little vague but...

I remember a scene from a film where there's a married couple and the husband goes to bed one night, and during the night his wife is taken over by a demon (either that, or it starts before the husband goes to bed but it's nothing minor, like she might just be a little ill)

Anyway, he comes back downstairs in the morning and she's basically slumped, semi-conscious in a bean-bag and is completely a demon.

Sorry about being vague...in fact, I think this may just be something I've completely dreamt up (I can have a rather strong imagination and I can sometimes think I remember something tht never actually happened) but if anyone's got any suggestions...

All I remember from this movie is: A man in a mansion, getting chased by monsters. The monsters weren't, werewvoles and vampires but some ugly ass monsters. One looked like rolling fur ball with 2 tentacles that he could ''shoot''. One looked like a bat... but an ugly fucking bat. The people, who lived in the mansion were the monsters, and were able to transform themselves.

The film ends with the guy, the main hero ,who escaped the monsters telling his story to some people, and those people were the monsters, but he didnt know.

I know this may seems weird but it's all I remember and I've been doing my research on wikipedia horror movie list.

Please help me, if you know something, let me know

Its not Spookies, monsters weren't humanoid-looking.

This movie is from anytime between 1960 - 1995, give or take. It was in danish television in the late 1990ies (as I remember, but it could be +- a few years). I am (almost) sure it was english or american.

I only saw the opening scene. It was at some attic/store room with a lot of items placed on shelves, and no people around. Among the items where a small cage kinda circus-like (a box with a barred door, size about 4x2x2 feet). The cage broke somehow (maybe it fell from a shell, or maybe the creature inside of it just crashed it).

This creature was rather unscary looking, with a grey naked skinny body and a bold head. But extremely powerfull and angry. Also, the creature was semi-realistik, like it was animated (It probably was, but it was not made so due to low budget, it was intentionally). Of course, after the creature escaped the cage, it escaped the attic.

I am pretty sure, that it was a real horror movie, and not just a parody.
I really would like to see the rest of the movie. :)

To V: No. Not as I recall. But which movie is that from?

It was more like a human body, with legs, arms, torso and head, walking uprised. And it was kind of misplaced - the creature was looking a little like it was a clay stop motion figure - placed in a realistic setup. And it did not really look scary (it didnt look sweet either, though) - the scary thing was just the angry attitude and the extreme power of the little beast. It teared things apart. (Not easy to explain, and a long time ago I saw a small bit of this movie, sorry :o)

Hi!

I've got quite a hard one ...

I've seen this in TV in the late 70s or early 80s as an excerpt (maybe it was a trailer).
I don't know whether it was from a film or a series.
There was a man (type "mad man") running by night behind a boy or a little man (maybe with a helmet), who was fleeing by racing in a go-kart (or a similiar little vehicle) ...

It is NOT: "Silver Bullet" (the King-adaption), "Phantasm I" or "The Shining"!

Any suggestions ..?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm looking for two movies from the mid 80s and the 90s, US-made.

The first movie is from the 90s (probably mid or late) and was about a family that moves into a haunted house. The house is very beautiful and stately with dark wood interiors and an ominous feel b/c it does not have much lighting. The House starts working on the wife first and she starts having small hallucinations about her husband cheating on her with the realtor. The first time is when she watches from a window as he walks the realtor out to her car and she imagines that they make out enthusiastically on the hood of the realtor's car. Then later she goes upstairs and thinks she sees them having sex in the study when actually he's just in there doing something benign like reading. [fastforwarding] There is a sort of random scene where an unintroduced naked brunette lady writhed on a big bed. The camera is the pov and it creeps up on her (she doesn't see it for a while because the top of her head is towards the door) until she does notice it and is quite shocked/terrified. The scene ends and goes back to the family. [fastforwarding] The last scene I remember was the family sitting down to dinner. By this time strain had developed b/t the wife and husband. I think the House has started working on the father as well because I'm fairly certain he is the one who looks up and sees a random old lady ghost staring at him. She was whited out and and had a sfx glow, a bit like Slimer or the library ghost, and was staring at him very insanely. Then the turkey exploded. I remember this because it was a very cheap effect - it was like they put a lot of fireworks in it - it went PFFT!! and turkey bits shot up in the air. I remember thinking that the actors' jumping a bit was not unfeigned.
Some random details: I think they had more than one kid. Fairly sure the name of the movie had something to do with haunting or poltergeists, it might have had a colon.

I saw the second movie in the early 90s, so it could be mid 80s to early 90s. It was on TV during the daytime. It was about a lot of terrified young people running around in a big house and getting picked off in creative ways. One lady had twine sewn in her stomach. It was like...the needle went in at her lower abdomen and was drawn out the middle. I think that was how she died? And another lady got trapped in a clock except there was a blade for a pendulum. The remaining (3 or so) survivors come upon her predicament but she tells them to run away.
My friend is trying to help me find these and she came upon these links:
http://www.best-horror-movies.com/based-on-the-masque-of-the-red-death.html
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0179334/reviews
Some of the details, like the clock trap, match but there is only a copy of the Vincent Price version available on Amazon so it'll be difficult to check right away.

Also, can anyone confirm if in The Eye (2002, Pang bros), was there a scene where the heroine goes to a restaurant to eat and sees a lady ghost holding a kid come in and start licking the peking ducks? The heroine overhears some regulars remarking that the owner seemed to be doing well and that his wife's suicide was such a shock. She throws down her chopsticks and runs out.

Sorry for the length and thank you very much for your help!

I need some help with a horror title. I'll try this thread first although it doesn't seem to be getting a lot of responses.

I think it's from a movie but I can't be sure. I've been watching the TV show "Lost Girl" for a while. Seeing how Bo (Lost Girl's main character) can drain the life force from a person with her succubus powers by kissing reminded me of a scene from an old horror show. It's all very vague since I probably watched it when I was too young in the 80s. The scene is the following (remember this is guesswork):

A group of the usual young people (I think) are in a house of some sort. It's in the woods and probably haunted or something. I can't remember. At night, one of the guys decides to raid the refrigerator or go exploring in the house. There is a pretty girl in a see through gown that is in one of the rooms. I don't think it is one of the girls that came with the group. This should have been enough to get the guy running but no...He goes to makeout with the girl. Now here's where I'm not sure what happens next. It turns out that the girl is of course some kind of monster or witch. The guy is either enjoying the kiss and the girl starts to choke the guy. Or the guy backs up after the kiss and the girl's tongue wraps around the guy's throat choking him. I can't remember which. But I think it had something to do with her tongue.

Any guesses or similar scenes from shows you guys remember will help. Thanks.

If you are talking about the Tales from the Crypt movie that is too recent. I remember watching the scene in the 80s. But I'll check out Demon Knight anyway. I've never seen it.

For some reason, I'm thinking that the scene I'm looking for might be in one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. I barely remember them at all. Probably because they scared me when I was young. I know it's not the first one but maybe a sequel?

That's my problem with having seen so many movies...they all start blending together and turning into a blur unless I watch them once a year or something.

My brain is pretty much mush now...lol. There are certain movies that I have memorized, but even ones I used to watch all the time are jumbled in my head now. Me and some friends used to do Horror trivia and I used to be like a Friday The 13th encyclopedia. I used to be able to name every character and the actor's name, how they died, what movie they were in, etc. Now I'm doing good if I remember "The New Blood" was Part 7...lol.

I was really, really into horror movies growing up. I actually kept a notebook listing all the horror movies I'd seen. There's a few thousand in there and if I look at it now, I would bet I wouldn't remember 75% of them.

If I sit down and start watching a movie that I know I've seen before I'll usually go "oh yeah" I remember what basically happens, but I can't remember all the little details anymore.

I know I've seen each movie in all the big franchise movies like F13, Nightmare, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw, etc literally 50-100 times each depending on the part, but I've only seen 1 or 2 films from any of those franchises in the last couple years and while I can remember the main ideas, I can't remember each death scene anymore.

When I was 18 yeah...but now in my 30's...no...lol. I have the utmost respect for the guys and gals on this board who can remember specific details from a lot of old or obscure movies they've only seen once or twice, because I'm doing good to remember details from the ones I watched 50 times growing up let alone a movie I saw once or twice years ago.

So that was what 87-89 I remember this dude falls and I think he gets possessed once he hits the concrete. It was some weird shit once he hit the concrete. His name is George not sure if thats how he spelled it but anyway. He starts acting weird. His friends say. And there were some odd scenes with him in a freezer. Like a meat freezer ya know with carcasses hanging up and what not. George. I would appreciate the heck out of it if one of the horror fanatics could help me out, cause I would love a rewatch with a mature mind to know whats really going on as you can tell from what I have described I dont really remember the movie at all.

Can somebody help me with a movie name?

I rented this movie back in year 2000, It was pretty old, color (non black and white), vhs...The thing is that I remember it was about some monsters coming out of a giant closet or something, the weird closet was open at midnight...So the monsters did all the scares and then after a long night of action, they went back to the alley where the "closet" look like door was... I was 12 years old so I fast forwarded the movie because it sucked (at east for me when I was 12), so my summary was: 1-monsters go out, 2-scare and kill people, 3-monsters return, 4-The end....

I'm looking for this movie because I want to watch it and see if my young mind was actually right about the movie and actually got the essential plot summary on fast forward.

looking for a zombie movie that was made within the last ten years, i'd say. within the last few years it was on the netflix instant queue, which is where i saw it.
synopsis as far as i can remember:
emo teen likes the nice cheerleader girl who happens to be dating the rich jock. jock accidentally kills her trying to roofie her at some party and the nerd kid sees it happen and goes corpse-snatching. he then steals a book on voodoo from his like... anthropologist neighbor who's on vacation. brings cheerleader back as a zombie, but not like brain-hungry zombie, just a kinda walking death. he then tries to snap her back into the right mindset using several methods, including taking her to see a band that *i think* may be In This Moment. i don't remember how it ends, so don't tell me in the answer!
thanks in advance.

It has driven me crazy a number of times over the years trying to track down the name of this film I saw when I was younger. I am guessing it is from 91-95 and probably indy/not too notable. It starts with someone driving home who almost hits a dark cloaked figure in the road, and comes home to find their teenager murdered on a couch. There are jars of liquid and preserved body parts throughout the film. I think the climax has to do with some sort of Noah's Ark but filled with corpses and taxidermy animals and I think there is a crucified Jesus figure.

Thanks!

Been a couple (more) years, still looking for the title of this one. I am starting to think I may have made it all up. Only other info I have is that it may be a crime/action film more than horror genre, I am pretty sure my grandmother rented it the time I saw it, I seem to remember watching it with her and she doesn't care for horror.

I have a particular movie I've spent the past several years trying to find, but can't. All I can remember from it is that there is a part where a man is in a graveyard and comes across a door hidden inside of a grave. He opens it and falls down into an open area. All I remember after that is that he enters a room where several corpse-looking people are gathered around a table and at some point, his ear gets torn off and they're passing it around the table to one another and eating bites out of it.

I have enlisted numerous people over the years trying to track this movie down to no avail. Hopefully someone here can help me out, please!

Hey... I am trying to remember what horror movies these were... I have several:

1. It was on the way too friggin late show back in the late 70s or early 80s... probably a Hammer film or something... it was in color, and one scene i remember is a prisoner escaping from a dungeon-like cell, and attacking a nurse and biting her throat out. It was all shown in gory detail.

2. Some of the clips on the opening credits for Rob Zombie's House of 1000 corpses look familiar to me, but the one i am interested in is the one guy who appears to be in a cage with a very messed up mouth, maybe lips missing or something, almost Phantom of the Opera like grotesque face.

3. I don't remember if this was part of #1 or not, but there is a water torture scene where someone is chained? to the floor of this chamber and another scene where someone is descending stairs and gets axed - very Shining-like.

Any help with these would be appreciated... it has been bugging me for years. Thanks

Right, i saw a horror one time on television and forgot what it was called....

All i can remember is some guys turning an elevator off, and then a man walked into the elevator shaft, and walked down to the elevator, opened the hatch and looked inside, and there was a really old, wrinkled woman with wirey hair , like a witch, who proceeded to rip the old style elevator apart and i think killed the guy?

The elevator had a black chequered floor and was pretty old fashioned. It appeared that the floor/roof was made of wood as it was torn apart

I seem to remember some sort of horrific transformation took place in the elevator (which was stationary btw)

I have no idea why but when I checked the guide out i have some memory of pet sanctuary or semetary or something being on but there's no correlation with that being the correct film as it could have been a different channel. I woke up in the middle of the night to this film so my memory is a bit foggy.

Anyone got any ideas? Cheers

The movie I saw was probably from the 70s or 80s. A family moved into a haunted/demon possessed house (not Amityville or Poltergeist). In one scene, the oldest boy was outside dribbling his basketball obsessively. In another, the mother was in the kitchen and heard a baby crying. She opened one of the cupboards and saw something like a dead fetus in a jar of formaldehyde that was making the noise. In the last scene, the whole family had to drive away, as the house was just too infested to live in.

I realize this isn't much to go on, but would be grateful for any assistance.

one scene had something to do with a some person in a field, corn field He sad,

Main thing he said was that a man smoking a cigarette in some dark area. You could Just see his s hand, the cigarette and an ashtray. The hand put out the cigarette in the ashtray and then the man took some cigarette ash from the ashtray and applied it on his face.

The man walked out and the murderer followed him with some kind of an axe or hatchet.

That all he told, he may have told me about other things but I might of forgot.

I'm looking for a film a saw a long time ago. It was cheesy and bad but what you gonna do. Nostalgia eh? It was based on jekll and hyde and I watched it on the horror channel at least 3 years ago. The basic plot was that this woman inherits a house and finds it has potions which do something (not sure what exactly anymore). Anyway one defining bit is that it turns her into a man and she has sex with another woman which goes wierdly. Anyway hope you goes can help.

Thanks for that. Got another one. I watched this when I was a kid late at night on a BBC channel. I don't remember much. This is it really:

Family is haunted by a spirit in a red coat.
Spirit kills their cat at one point with poisoned milk
The spirit imprisons their child in a hollow point in one of the walls in their house and they have to bust into it to get them out.

1) It was Asian. What Asian, I'm not sure. I just know it was one.

2) It had a woman giving another woman a ride to somewhere. She offers tea. That tea become a plot point later.

3) The first woman is a medium/psychic/whathaveyou. She tells the other woman 4 different stories about when she did a job or when something happened. It ended with the other woman's story.

4) I really, really want this name. Seriously. I want to watch this movie. It was good.

Yes, it's a ghost story. But still good.

A good while back, when I was just a kid (I think), I stayed up too late to watch a movie that I wasn't supposed to watch. My memories of it are now very vague, but I'd really love to know what it was. I was creeped out and could only bring myself to watch the start of it. Here's what little I remember...

It was some older (well, pre-90s, and possibly pre-80s) horror film, and I think it was set in an older time than the movie too. Pretty sure it was set on a farm. There was a young (probably teenage) girl who got in trouble for something quite early on in the movie and so they locked her in the attic for the night. There was something scary about the attic, but I honestly don't remember what. I think there was something to do with the floorboards.

Then I remember that the next day, they let her out of the attic and she came slowly walking down the stairs to creepy music. It was obvious something wasn't right with her anymore. This was the point I got creeped out and went to bed, ha!

Does anyone have a clue what this was?! Help, please!

it had a very dramatic title... "the blood on satan's claw".

now... should i watch it again or will it creep me out all these years later? that is the question, haha!

I'm trying to find out what movie I'm thinking of. I probably saw it 15+ years ago so there isn't much to go on. It's likely an late 70s early 80s flick. It involves a kid who is evil. The big revelation comes when an adult (I think a nun?) turns the kid's hand over and sees that there are three cirlces/dots on the kid's palm indicating that the child is evil. I realize it's not much to go on but like I said, it's been a while. Please help!

hey there, there is this movie i have been trying to find since my childhood. it was translated into turkish as "the haunted house", i searched the whole internet but couldn't find it under that name. so anyway, here is a detailed summary of the movie:

(this might or not be the beginning, it was like 15 years ago) there are two maids, one young and one older, cleaning a house/mansion. there are white sheets covering the furniture and portraits on the walls. the young maid becomes aware of the portraits watching her and runs outside into her car. then boom! her car explodes. (i'm not sure if this is the same movie but as far as i can remember it was the beginning)
(here is the part i am certain of): a young couple with a young daughter move into an old big house like a mansion with a statue of the reaper above the entrance. the father records their moving day. the daughter runs into the house and finds an old-fashioned doll on a bed. when her parents find her there, she claims the room for herself. in the evening, the father watches the tape he recorded, but the sounds are weird, like when you listen to music on your walkman with dying batteries. and the mother finds all the cupboards open. the daughter goes to school. there was a scene where a girl exactly like the doll watches the daughter behind trees. (some strange stuff happens) and the family calls for a medium. he is like a priest and comes with his assistant, a young attractive woman. they search the house with an electronic tool that beeps louder when it finds spiritual energy. they find the doll and the device goes crazy. the man tell the family to put a bowl of milk outside the front door. (at one point someone looks at the milk and it whirls red and white and spurts into the face of that person) again some stuff happens and one night, everything starts flying around and hurting people. the medium has a device that is like a flashlight but it shows the spirits. one of the spirits was like a wolf or some beast. it was a rainy night with lightnings. when the parents go out to look for their daughter, they find the body of the medium under the statue of the reaper with his head cut and lying beside him on the ground. the spirits kidnap the daughter. they call a priest who tell them about the history of the house. they find a protecting charm in the basement sticking to a wall. they remove it and use it to reach the evil spirits (i guess). the spirits shout with anger that the girl is theirs. then somehow, they go down into the basement again and break down a wall behind which they find their daughter hanging from her neck alive together with her other dolls. (at one point they find the corpse of the previous owner in the basement behind some wall and bars.) everything seems to go back to normal but the mother is being possessed. she thinks she sees the attactive assistant and her husband making out in the garden on the car, then dreams that her husband and the assistant are having sex on her bed in front of her, pitying her. then she goes crazy and locks the doors. she goes to the basement and cuts off the head of the doll with an axe. the ghost of the doll makes herself visible to the daughter with bloodstains around her neck saying that it is very bad when mother is like that. the father goes to the church and finds the priest kneeling at the altar holding a dagger. he is dead. the father takes the dagger and rushes back to the house. the mother attacks her daughter but she escapes. the father arrives and the mother hurts him with a scissor. they fight and the father stabs her with the dagger on her heart. a colourful swirl emerges out of her. she becomes herself again, they all jump out of a window and run away into the woods while the house burns. we see a beasty spirit smiling into the camera after them at the final.

i know this was very long but thanks for reading it. it drives me crazy to remember it so well but not be able to find it because of a translation issue. so, has anyone watched this?

I've hoped to find out what the name of this movie is for years:

I watched it around the early 90s, I think

It was some kind of sci-fi horror, I don't actually remember much from it, except that "the bad guys" (whom I think were aliens) disguised themselves as humans, and - this is the part that might ring a bell for someone: their victims would shrivel up/"inflate" and turn into little balls of light.

I got kicked out of the room by my parents before the movie ended, so don't remember anything apart from that. I'd like to see the whole thing sometime :)

Okay, so, several years ago.. I'm gonna say 2004-2005 I rented a movie from Hollywood Movies. It was in the foreign section. I'm going to say it was Asian (I'm pretty sure about this)
It's about a girl who moves to a new school and she's very mysterious..
Weird stuff starts to happen, like something is following her.. then they all get locked in the school..
I remember one scene where the students get trapped in a room and you hear screaming and then blood splatters all over the window...

I wish I could remember more.. but I can't.. I have searched all over the internet.. every phrase I can possibly think of.. and I get nothing lol...

Thanks!

Hello,

If my memory serves me right, there's a movie series based on some Stephen King stuff (or maybe he was producer or something) but I can't find it anywhere
nor do I remember anything except for a few scenes. I'm not even sure they're
from the same episode/movie.

One of the scenes I remember has probably an american man in Japan and he is at some kinda brothel. Then there was this one girl being tortured with nails/spikes being stuck underneath her nails.
And a third scene has this one little girl, who is a geisha in the present, and who has some deformed twin on her body.

I hope that someone can help me, I've been looking all over the internet for this movie/series.

I know I already asked these, but I am still searching for these films, these are both horror films (or) TV shows, which I saw way back in 1990-1991, both were shot in color.

One movie features a clip of a woman seen in a white painted kitchen cooking something. The woman is dark haired, has short hair, if I remember right, and is wearing a bathrobe or raincoat. She has a pot on a stove on with boiling water. She opens her refrigerator, moving jars around, searching for something to eat, and she eats a can of dog food (I think it was dog food). She pours the food in a bowl and eats it, she might be kneeling on the floor while eating it. Her small white dog (terrier, I think) comes into the room, and stares at her eating its food. The woman stares back at it with a mutilated growling gruesome face green colored with red-yellow eyes. That is all I can remember. I saw it in 1990-91, but someone else said they saw this clip, in the mid 80s, but unfortunately, the clip is all they can remember from this film, as well. The face of the woman resembles the doll from the Trilogy of Terror horror franchise. Some suggested this is a werewolf film, but I am not sure. Any ideas?

I saw this on 1990, and I am the only one who remembers it. I cannot remember much of the film, but all I can recall is a long dark haired woman resting in bed, I think she has a book on her bed, and a lamp next to her. She hears a noise, and we see a ghost floating on two sets of stairs (banisters). The hallway resembles the halls of the Stanley Hotel, which is an actual haunted place. From what I can remember of the ghost, it was covered in a light blue sheet (the same sort of sheet Michael Myers wore in the first Halloween to disguise himself as a sheeted ghost with glasses, it is not "Halloween"), and it did not have any hands, feet, or face (no ears), if I can recall, no eyes, just an adult size head and invisible body. I think there was a piece of string tied around the neck. I think the ghost came back for revenge. We see the ghost floating in the doorway, and probably a hotel mirror on the wall. The ghost then floats towards the woman and looks down at her, floating around her, she just looks up screaming, fussing, and trying to kick it away. I am thinking either the ghost is a woman who used to live in the house, or a deceased lover of hers.

The first film could be a werewolf film, but it is not "My Mom's a Werewolf" as someone mentioned, maybe "Mom", which is about a werewolf woman, could be "Night Train to Terror." The second film could be "the Haunting Passion", "the Haunting of Seacliff Inn", or "the Haunting of Sarah Hardy" (she did look like Sela Ward), which are all made-for-TV movies, but it is not "the Entity", perhaps it is from a 80s paranormal ghost show, such as "Ghostwatch", or a show such as "Night Gallery", "the Twilight Zone", "Outer Limits", or "Night Vision", or maybe the films, "Burnt Offerings" or "the Guardian."

I am sorry for asking these questions again, but I have asked on several horror boards, and no one knows. I know I am not in the only one in the world who saw these. Does anyone have any ideas whatsoever what they may be? Any help at all would truly be appreciated, thanks.

Here's one that I don't remember much about at all.

I thought the title had something to do with "under" or "sub" something.
Not horror. Fantasy/comedy if anything.
I remember the cover had the human protagonist who's a young dude maybe 16-20 years old "leaning" against one side of the cover which also featured the creature in the film.
It was about this creature, that had come from someplace underground...evidently the main character had to help him/it get back.
...I seem to recall it had a fascination with shoes, and may have tried to steal the shoes of the main character.

I don't even know if or why I want to see this again, but the thought of it is annoying me.

I think it is Little Monsters, too.

The werewolf film was finally solved. I am still trying to find out the title of the ghost scene I saw. This is all the information I have:

Saw in 1990-1991 approx, live action, colorized. All I remember is footage of a ghost (dressed in a blue sheet, probably a bridal grown; no face, hands, or feet, if I remember right) visiting a woman. I cannot remember what the woman looked like, but she had long hair, dark hair, straight hair, if I remember right. The clip went as followed: we see the woman laying in bed, reading, and she turns out the light, her room is then dark. She hears a noise, we then see the ghost slowly making its way towards her room, up one steps of stairs, then straight down the hall. We then see it floating still in the doorway. I think the woman calls out a name, Martin I think. The ghost then flies towards her. She looks up at it, screams, fusses, and tries to kick it away, it does not go anywhere, it just floats around in front of her. I think the ghost is a banshee or the ghost of her deceased husband, or someone else deceased. I cannot remember much else of the show, but it is NOT "the Entity", and it might be an episode of "Ray Bradbury Theater", or a show similar. It is SIMILAR to a scene from the 80s version of "Halloween", where Michael Myers dresses up as a ghost to scare one of his victims, but the sheet is blue, and the ghost did not wear any glasses, or had any hands and feet.

Could be an episode of "Nightvision", "Circle of Fear", or "Night Gallery", a made-for-TV movie: "the Haunting of Sarah Hardy", "the Haunting of Seacliff Inn", or "the Haunting Passion", or an Amityville Horror movie of the series. Did not watch any of these, but I know they all have ghosts in them.

Any guesses would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Yes, I know, I dropped off the face of the Earth just when I joined. So bad. but anyways, I'm still looking for this movie. Let me go into more details.

I remember I watched this movie on Netflix at my ex's place. I don't know the year but I can tell you a few things.

1) Might be Japanese, or Chinese, not sure. Possibly Korean since I was big into those at the time. Chinese is my guess though...Don't quote me on that.

2) It had a woman giving another woman a ride to somewhere. She offers tea. That tea become a plot point later when it is discovered that woman B was poisoned by it. Plot point down below.

3) The first woman is a medium/psychic/whathaveyou. She tells the other woman 4 different stories about when she did a job or when something happened. It ended with the other woman's story. The first one was about her visit to a house where an elderly couple has their now disabled son living with them and shows why he is being tormented by two ghosts. Second and third, I don't quite remember what happened. But the fourth was about Woman B and a "murderous wife club" where she needs to kill her wife.

The whole movie ends with the husband getting his revenge in the end with the help of woman A.

4) I really, really want this name. Seriously. I want to watch this movie. It was good.

Yes, it's a ghost story movie. But still good.

Seriously? Little Monsters with Fred Savage, man!

Nope. Something like that though...probably a slightly older target audience.
I think there was really only ONE creature in the movie, and they were trying to get him home, which was underground.
I'm sure at one point the protagonist was arrested?
Maybe the thing broke him out...or it was arrested? I dunno.

Unlike little monsters, the creature featuring in this one was less humanoid. Looked more (from recollection) along the lines of the "good" creatures in the dark crystal? Maybe anyways.

I think it was learning to talk throughout the movie too.

No one will ever answer this. I have tried for years. I saw it when I was young and all I remember is that this movie (TV show, miniseries?) took place on an island. At one point there was a small (single engine?) plane in the woods (maybe with a skeleton in it) and that a man's tongue was cut off (and may have been placed under a floorboard). That's all I got. Gold stars and possibly cash prizes to anyone who can tell me the title.

Oh, since I saw it when I was young I would have been watching in the late seventies or early eighties if that helps.

Hello I have a tough one I looked around and posted on Yahoo answer 10 times and haven't even gotten close and I don't even think my deception is 100% accurate, if someone does somehow get it, you'll be my hero.:D

Here is what I can remember:

It was about guys having nightmares
No freddy cruger bullshit.
I'm pretty sure it was a foreign film.
The dreams were extremely disturbing and he called a guy to his house to fix his phone or something?
I believe there was something about if you die in your dream WHILE it is raining outside you die in real life.

I believe one of the dreams had a "thing" on a tree and he was handcuffed to something and he couldn't get away and it was trying to get him?

Unfortunately, I do not have the answer to your question, but you might want to ask this on the "I need to know" forum on the IMDB (the internet movie database). You will need to register, but it is free, and the people there are very helpful, sorry if you tried this already, but if you have not, it is definitely worthwhile. I never saw this film, but it sounds very interesting, and I would want to know the title, too. By the way, when did you watch this film, and do you know anyone who was in it? That would be helpful to know too.

Good thing it wasn't raining when you had this nightmare. Just kidding. You said you thought it was a foreign film? Why you say that? Did it have subtitles, or was it overdubbed? If it had subtitles, what language do you think it was -- or at least... was it latin (spanish-esque), asian or european? Were the actors latin, asian or european? What was the setting -- woods, desert, outspace? And take a guess at the year range it was in -- 1950s? or 1990-2013? Was it black & white, old color, new color? All these things can help someone tell you what film it was.

I'm going to start off by saying that the movie is not the Collector or the Collector 2!! It's older than those movies.

I watched it quite a few years ago so I don't remember it exactly. But, a family moved into a house I think it was just father, daughter, and son. They hired a guy to fix up the house and I don't know what happened but they couldn't open the doors and the daughter picked up a chair and threw it at a window to break it but the window didn't break. The hired hand fixed the locks on the door so that they locked from the outside and he put in unbreakable glass unbeknownst to the family.

Please help because I would really like to watch this movie again :)

When I watched Ghost Ship (2002) earlier today, I was reminded of another movie that I saw a few years ago. Unfortunately, I can not think of the name of that movie. There must be some similarities between Ghost Ship and this film because I mentally link them together. The only thing I can remember is something about an illusive man (who appears at the beginning and possibly the end of the film) who tells a woman (who is the main character) to do something (I do not remember what, but I think that is what the film was about). I am pretty sure that, by the end, she figures that the figure is the ghost of her father or something. I think it is modern (or at least post 1980s). I also think she was on the ship (whichever ship that was) when she was a kid or something. I think there was something about a tape recorder too. I wish I could remember more, but that is all I can remember.

I know that it is not The Fog because I know the original quite well and I believe the remake is pretty much the same. I do not think The Presence is old enough. because I saw it a few years ago. I looked up The Island and I do not think that that is correct either because I do not think that it was a sci-fi. Thank you for trying though. It could be one of SyFy's original films, but I do not really think it was that terrible, maybe I just saw it on SyFy. Maybe not.

If toothpicks shoved up the fingernail doesn't ruin a film for ya, you'd find it interesting. My statement on The Fog was not clear, so I will clarify. The Fog (1980) is a John Carpenter masterpiece, in my opinion, while the remake is simply a pale imitation. They are worlds apart, I merely meant that their material was very similar.

I've got one.
Not a horror movie, but one I recall seeing part of.
I'd say it was comedy by the tone.

Walter Matthau, was talking about his previous marriages.
He then told a story about having married someone who was a man.
I just remember him saying very wryly, something like
"That's right, I married a faggot".

I wouldn't know one of his films from another really, he's a bit before my time.
(Aside from "Tastes funny...tastes like paint...and wood")
Though I've wondered about this one.

Hi everyone, I'm completely new to this site, and I'm here for a specific purpose.

I streamed a movie on netflix at some point between September and December of 2012, and I have been trying to find it again EVER SINCE.

I do not remember much about the movie....It was a very hazy time hahaha

Here are the details that I remember:

- it was a very low-budget movie, and based on the production quality appeared to be from the 70's or 80's
- the basic plot involved two couples going to a mansion that belonged to one of the male characters' family members. I think a grandfather or great-grandfather was some sort of deranged artist
- it involves the characters sort of running wild in this mansion for a time - i think they do cocaine a lot
- the end up having very serious hallucinations and very WEIRD stuff happens
- there are several scenes at a dinner table that are VERY F***ed (I dont remember exactly what, but I remember it being pretty gross - maybe cannibalism / self mutilation?)
- there is definitely a pool
- I think the main character is a writer, and he may be engaged to his female counterpart?

If ANYONE has any ideas for what this is - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I am DYING TO REWATCH!!!!!!!

Sincerely,
RRR

Someone asked this on a horror forum, and I was wondering what this is too. They saw they it some time around 2000, but it could be a movie from the 80s-90s. In the film, a father, mother, and son move into a house, and the father slowly goes insane and starts communicating with demons (or) spirits in the basement. There was a particular shower scene, in which the mother or son takes a shower, and the demons came out to attack them. The person also thinks, but is not sure, that the mother and son traps the father in the basement at the end, and uses the furnace to burn the house with him and the demons in it. This is all they can remember. I thought this was "This House Possessed" or "Cameron's Closet", but it could also be "New Nightmare" or one of the recent "Amityville Horror" films, all involving demons and shower scenes. Does this seem familiar to anyone?

Hello Horror.com I am a new member!

For the past few years I have been trying to find this either later 80s or early 90s zombie film, and I just cant remember its name.

The last time I watched it was in 1995 or so on VHS so here is what I remember of it and maybe you guys can help me out:

*It starts off with some kind of satanic ritual in a secluded farm house. There is an middle aged man and his wife. He turns into a zombie/demon and kills his wife. The farmhouse explodes (or catches fire, I cant remember specifically which).
*Group of young guys and girls come to the farmhouse years later.
*The film is essentially the group vs zombies/demons.
*The zombies bleed a lot of yellow pus.
*There is a last stand fight during the film with two guys back to back, one has a shotgun. One guy roundhouses a zombies' head off.
*In the end a demon appears (son of Satan I think).

Any idea what film this is? My brother and I have been cracking our heads trying to remember! It would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks!

I wish I could give you more information, but a scene from a horror movie has burned itself in my brain for decades, and I need help in figuring it out.

I saw it in my early teens, which would be 80's era. It was on HBO or another pay cable channel, here's what I remember.

Color film, feels 70's ish. It is dark and a woman is getting attacked, I believe by several men. At one point dogs are released in the distance, and at least one of dogs mauls one of the woman's attackers.

While the man is on the ground, probably dying, the woman crawls over to him and slaps him repeatedly in the face.

I've always been a horror fan, even at a young age, but this scene creeped me out, and I ran from the room. It has haunted my mind for ages. Can someone help me find the name of this movie?

Thank you!
Jen

I would have been watching in that time period and place. But sorry, that doesn't ring a bell. Could have been a Tales of the Crypt, which were horror ep shorts on HBO at the time. Probably would be a long list, but you could read a list of ep descriptions. If you caught the very beginning of this movie, you'd probably know if it was a film or Tales of the Crypt.

I'm trying to find the name of an old horror film I saw when I was younger. It's about an older couple who live in a big eery house (maybe on a hill or cliff) and they take in young travelling girls. They put their victim's body parts in food and feed it to the newcomers (I remember a scene cooking soup on the stove with maybe a foot in it). One girl tries to get away and is flagging down a car but it turns out to be the couple and they bring her back to the house.

I can recall watching what I thought at the time as being a good horror film about a young boy who became possessed. I think the boy was about 8-10 and had blonde hair (curly?).

I cant remember a great deal much more about the film, other then at one point the boy was playing outside with some stones with symbols / runes on them...

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and hoping that somebody out there can help me out. This is going to sound a little vague but it is all I can remember.

I am looking for a horror tv series that I believe aired in the 80's. All I can remember is the title sequence or when it came back from commercial there was a tall structure (A rock or a building), and I think there were the letters of the show title either carved in the rock or on the building.

The only other thing I can remember is one episode where there were a couple kids playing in a real creepy dollhouse or maybe it was a full size house, it is hard to remember, and there was something to do with worms I do believe. They were either eating the worms or the worms were coming out of the kids. I remember the color in the scene seemed to have a bluish hue or tint to it. Like it was nighttime and the lighting was just bluish I believe.

I apologize for the lack on information to go on but this is all I can really remember which is why this show has been so hard for me to find. I definitely remember the tall stone or building in the title sequence and/or coming back from commercial.

If anybody has any ideas I more than appreciate it.

This one has the requisite building and is from 1980... it was ITV too so would have had commercials.

Hammer House of Horror (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADcy0mUr3bU)

I don't remember the bit you describe but on the plus side there were only 13 episodes so wouldn't take long to find if it's there...

I appreciate your help but unfortunately that is not the one.

I am trying to remember a little more details. It seems like the rock/building, was tall but I think it sat to the right of a road that went up to a house (maybe) in the background. The lettering on the stone stuck out. It may have been a big tombstone but I just don't know. The lettering seemed to stand out like the cover of the life of brian or the meaning of life. I wish I could remember more. I need to go into some hypnotherapy to find some lost memories, haha. This is killing me. The stone looked like this one except it was on the other side facing left instead of right like this picture.

Hello all!

I've had 2 films on my mind for several decades. Both seen in the late 1960s and I've been hoping to find them again.

1) A black and white vampire movie. The scene I remember most was that of a group of people, perhaps a family, barricaded in their Multi-story house. It is dark out and from the upstairs window they are looking out into the yard and nervously watching as several vampires are milling around the yard below. What stuck with me was that these vampires had what looked like wooden at stakes protruding from their chests as they roamed about the trees in the yard. They held he stake with one hand as they walked. I think they were all female.

2) A black and white film where in some sinister guy had what seemed to be something similar to a ventriloquist dummy which he carried in a coffin-like case. I remember a scene where he left this case at the door of an enemy. I forget how, but the case ended up inside the apartment, and at night the puppet got out and slowly approached a sleeping person while holding a long hat pin, which it ultimately sticks into the back of the victim's neck.

These two films have eluded me for a lifetime and have me beginning to wonder if I've dreamt them both.

Any thoughts? I'm guessing both were made in the early 50s.

I saw it in the late 1970s. A pregnant woman gives birth in an ambulance. The newborn is alien and kills the mother and the ambulance attendants. At the end a man sees pregnant women everywhere and wonders if they too are carrying alien fetuses.

The movie follows a family who have just moved into a new house, I believe it`s in Australia and they have 1 kid. The house is isolated, and quite countrysidish. There are these creatures that live underground, like a rockthrow away from the house. They are kind of like trodgolytes of some sorts, and there is also an old natives graveyard story attached. Sort of like "cursed ground" type of thing. I believe it`s made between 1995-2005, but it`s only a guess.

Anyone catches a clue? :)

I know I asked about two movies here before, which I am "still" trying to identify, a TV show or movie (most likely a ghost reenactment show) where a ghost (ghost not spirit, it was visible, and looked like a regular human wrapped in a bluish sheet) visits a woman at night, most likely in a hotel or beach house, and a movie where a woman is seen cooking in her kitchen, and her face mutilates into a greenish color after she eats some pet food, probably a werewolf film, but also had Exorcist like features. However, there is one, I do not think I ever asked here, maybe I did, can't remember.

A high schooler is seen walking in a lonely classroom towards the front of the class, probably to talk to her instructor. As she is seen walking, the head of the instructor, probably not much older than she was, was seen flying in mid-air eventually landing on its headless corpse, which I remember was seen sitting down on the floor in front of the blackboard. Someone suggested, did not know for sure, the Amazing Stories episode, the Head of the Class, featuring Christopher Lloyd, but I saw it, and that is not it. It had a Nightmare on Elm Street atmosphere, and since I saw it in 1987-1990, it was most likely one of the earlier sequels. I saw all these films around the same time as each other.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? I know I did not make this up. I tried searching on the internet, but never could find anything.

Hello there, on several occasions I've been bashing my head against the wall while trying to find two movies I rented back in 97-98 when I was in first grade. I remember scenes from both of them but every time I try to look for any of them-no luck. Both were pretty much low budget I guess, but I'm not sure.

The first one was about a couple that moved into an old house. The woman had a rose tattoo that disappears after she makes some deal with a reflection(hers?) in the mirror. After that I remember there was some sort of demon in the basement and a guy went there and started reading from a book and blowing a horn or a flute, apparently hurting the thing but after that the demon cuts his head with a single swing. After some ritual(probably at the end) a goat turned into a man. There was also a scene at the end where some old woman hits her son and screams :"The devil/Satan made me do it"

The second one was about a family in the countryside. At the begging the father is lying on a table and starts explaining what happened. There was a boy that was playing around and found a tree that was alive, and as far as I remember there was some sort of dust coming from it that was infecting people. The nanny was in her 40s and had curly black hair and the boy suspected she was one of the monsters and I think there was a scene where we see that she had tentacles or something. At the end they show the father again lying there and many people surround him, including the nanny ,apparently all of them infected.

I'd REALLY appreciate your help, naming these movies, thanks in advance.

Hmm, the first one sounds familiar, but I just can't think of a title... I have a feeling it's something I've watched at some point. I will let you know if I remember.

The other one sounds like a movie I would love to see, so hopefully someone can help you find the title! ;)

Hello,
Sometime around the mid 00's (2005-2007 perhaps), I saw a movie with a friend (who can't remember it at all) - it was in a non-english language, but with english subtitles.
The movie is about this guy who lives in an apartment, who has 2 nice looking female neighbors in the apartment next to his. During the mid of the movie, he was trying to hang out with them / doing normal people stuff, and you saw the movie through his eyes. Near the end of the movie, you then realize that there was no apartment next door to his, just a brick wall that he was scratching at. And those 2 girl neighbors were actually dead in his apartment the entire time. But in his eyes, everything seemed normal.
Thats all I can remember, other than that, I rented it from Blockbuster video in the 'new releases' horror section, and it had a "foreign film" sticker on it. I've been trying to figure out the name of this movie for a couple years now, and a friend said I should try posting on a horror movie forum :)

best regards,

I know there's a thread but I couldn't find it, didn't really look....mods feel free to move this...

Anyways, I think I may have asked about it before. Perhaps in here or elsewhere, but my search didn't yield any results.
It's kind've annoying me so I'll give it another shot.

Ok.

It's definitely a late 80's to early 90's film.
It would be under...hm...fantasy/adventure/comedy.
The setting was modern, it was a US made film.

I thought it was called "sub-something", maybe "under-something"

The main character in the movie was a guy that was maybe in his late teens.
The secondary character was a creature, walked somewhat upright but wasn't really humanoid - it was quite scruffy/hairy from what I can recall.
In my mind, it may have looked something like those things from the second Bill&Ted movie. Maybe.

The creature came from some kind of city/place that was underground.
I have a feeling that the movie actually had the same name as this place or whatever they referred to it as.

I think it was either trapped in the human world or something was wrong with its own.

I remember it being fascinated with shoes or shoelaces? Took the main characters shoe/s multiple times.
It may have "stolen" a few other things too.

I remember a scene at a police station.

I remember the poster/cover for this film had the main character leaning back to back with the creature - reminiscent of the cover of "little monsters" but with the human being taller than the creature.

...and that's it.

Okay sci-fi horror fans, I need your help. I'm looking for a movie that has a really disturbing scene that I saw as a kid and I don't know the title of the film. Basically a bad guy in a space station gets stuck in a laser cutting machine during a fight scene and it cuts his head off across his mouth. It was really gory, and I remember the bad guy getting up immediately. It was on daytime cable, one of the late 80's pay per view like CVA or First Choice.

Oh, on another note, you do not find out that it was an alien hiding as a human until the laser beam cuts the person's head off, whereupon it gets up immediately.

Edit: Twas Nightflyers. What I remembered and how the movie actually looks...yeesh! xD

Can anyone help me find what this movie is that I have been looking for, for a while now and I can't seem to find out what it is anywhere on the internet... It's a movie from the mid-current 2000's. I really want to say 2008-2011ish... I saw a movie trailer for this horror movie a few times on tv (at the time) and I wanted to see it in the theater but never did and now I don't remember the name of the movie and cannot find it at all... it's as if it doesn't exist lol... mind you my memory is of only one very creepy part from the trailer so that might not help a lot.

NOW... All I remember from the movie trailer is a part where I believe a young woman was being chased through a house or down a hallway (at some point in the trailer) by a pale, naked, grandpa type creature who's body was all twisted and he was crawling after her pretty fast upside down... meaning his chest and stomach were facing towards the ceiling but his head was completely twisted around and facing forward so his chin would be lined up with his back. His arms and legs also twisted into a position of disgust too I believe, lol. Then after a few cuts in the trailer the woman runs/crawls up the stairs of the house a little ways and perhaps falls (I don't really remember) and then the grandpa creature crawls up after her and roars at her like a horror like him would be expected to - I think. Also I think the grandpa guy started out like a normal person in the trailer and then went nutz at the girl and twisted into this creature thing and gave chase... that's all I remember but it was very creepy and made me want to see the movie

I'm sorry that I have no more info but this is all I remember and it might not be totally right... And I swear to god the movie had a title similar to "Slither" or like a one word movie title because I remember the announcer saying it as one word but I could be completely wrong. Also it is not Slither, I have seen that movie ;)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated :)

Edit: More Information... The creature in the movie I'm looking for looked very similar to this
http://images.wikia.com/creepypasta/images/c/cf/Side_of_the_road.gif
However this not the movie I seek. This is the creature from the movie "Xtro" but the creature that I remember in the trailer of the newer movie that I'm looking for is very similar to the look of the Xtro creature from my memory... The naked grandpa creatures body was twisted around in this same form

Hey horror fans, I beg you for your help. I have a vivid, almost hallucinatory memory of a particular scene from a horror movie. It was on TV and I saw it when I was a kid. It's burned into my memory. I can't figure out how to find out what the movie was!

Here's the scene: A man is drinking from a bottle, I believe a bottle of liquor. There is a small creature in the bottle, almost like a tadpole. Just as he's about to swallow it, it opens its eyes! He's so focused on chugging back the liquid that he doesn't notice the creature and swallows it.

Another scene that's haunted me, I believe from a different movie: A boy has to stay awake and guard his closet or a creature will come out and kill someone (his parents?). He's sitting there with a baseball bat, staring at the closet door. He nods off for a second and the creature appears: it's like a large, terrifying looking man with exposed flesh. The boy begs it not to hurt anyone but it says that it must.

Very creepy scenes, right? What are the movies? Someone must know!

Thanks

Yes! The first one is Poltergeist 2.

But alas, no, the other scene isn't from The Gate!

Just watched Poltergeist 2. Not as good as the first one, but definitely memorable. That minister was the creepiest character I've seen in anything in a long time. And the whole sequence after Craig T. Nelson swallows the possessed worm and gives birth to the creature through his mouth! Ingeniously grotesques imagery!

I just watched The Gate as well, and it's an odd little movie. A revealing sample of 80s horror. Super Freudian. One of just a handful of horror movies that I can think of that has a kid protagonist. Thanks for directing me to it, but I still have to figure out the source of that one scene! I'm thinking it's from a horror movie from the '90s;something lesser known, maybe a sequel.

And there's ANOTHER scene, or rather image, from a movie that's been in my head for the longest time. Actually, it's so misty and far off in my memory that I can't remember if it's from a movie I saw, a TV show, or a dream I had. It's another movie with a kid protagonist, and it involves the ability to enter into paintings, or maybe one particular painting. There's the risk of getting lost in the paintings somehow. I remember you could tell that one character had gone into a painting because footsteps appeared in the landscape.

Help me out, fellas.

I wonder if someone can help me. I saw a horror movie in the 70's with a father, mother, son and grandmother taking possession of this old home - not sure how it was left to them, and during their time there they were scared witless through spirits in the house, eventually leading to the death of the grandmother. They then wanted to leave and the house wouldn't let them, and the father and son tried to get away in their station wagon and were stopped before the gates of the house. Somehow, if memory serves me, they became a part of the household ghosts.

Anybody remember the name of this movie. please respond here or to my email

Thanks for your replies, but the search goes on.

#2 (closet monster) was too disturbing to have been an episode of Goosebumps. It was definitely a movie: that much I remember. I watched the trailer for Cameron's Closet (couldn't find the entire film streaming online) and I'm pretty sure it's not the right movie. The kid in the movie I remember was older, and the film's image quality was higher. It wouldn't be They; it would be a pre-2000 movie. I'm leaning toward 90s.

#3 (boy goes into painting) isn't Waxwork. I just watched it. (Tangent: Wow, so many 80s movies have characters who are horrible people! The rich brat protagonist here [seems like he's supposed to be a teenager, but he's played by the main actor from Gremlins, clearly in his mid-to-late 20s] tries to gets his maid to write his college papers for him, and he's supposed to be the sympathetic hero? All of the characters were obnoxiously sarcastic, contemptuous, letting off nonsensical remarks posing as one-liners...)

I'm thinking it was a Dracula movie.

I'm thinking it was one of the mid to late 70's ones.

All I remember is it ends on a boat at sea. Seems like the credits were rolling the names over the boat at sea too. Can't remember if Dracula was flying around burning up or up on the mast in the crows nest. Anyway, I just can't place it. Anyone know which one I'm talking about?

A slow building horror movie came out in the last two or three years. I remember watching it because Stephen King said he really liked it. It's super slow. Okay this is an old memory that's been rolling around in my head for years and I'm hoping someone can help me out. This scene has stuck in my head since I saw it as a kid and being all grown up now I'd like to see the movie (good or bad) if I can figure out the title and track it down.

I saw this on cable probably 20 years ago and I'm guessing the movie is a bit older, I've always had the impression it was a theatrical movie being shown on TV but it could be made for TV or a TV show I suppose. This is as best as I can recall it but given the time lapse I may have some details wrong. The one scene I watched before getting scared and changing the channel because I was 10 was a woman running through a graveyard, in the daylight I believe, and calling someones name. She trips over a body she didn't see on the ground. When she looks to see what she fell over it's a dead guy whose face is completely destroyed. I oddly remember it as not bloody at all but still completely shredded, or maybe burned in some way.

She looks at him for a moment stunned and then someone else steps into frame with their back to the camera. She turns to them and seems to think she knows them, maybe the person she was calling for, and immediately jumps up and hugs them. As soon as she does she starts to cry out in pain a bit and we see some lines start to show on her face. There's a brief shot from her back and whoever or whatever is hugging her has long dirty fingernails that are digging into her back. The next shot is her falling to the ground, presumably dead, right next to the dead guy with the torn up face and her face has been destroyed in almost exactly the same way.

That was where I changed the channel as a youngster. The ripped apart faces have always kinda stuck with me and talking about movies the other day with my cousin I thought of this again and would like to find out what it's from. Just for my own curiosity.

Ring any bells out there?

hey, not too sure when this movie was made or who stars in it cause i saw a few scenes from it when i was 4 and it really haunted me for a couple of years... probably the scariest i've ever been.. anyway i thought maybe if i described a scene from it someone'd be able to help me figure its name out.

what i remember is that there was a scene where this young guy (maybe a kid) is in a room on a couch reading a book and the room has a few doors. now after the movie shows him there, it cuts to a lot of these sort of weird people that i think were dressed in this black gown sort of like the ones judges wear, and they all looked the same- they all had long hair that was maybe a bit curly, a very pale white face and some dark make-up around their eyes, and black eyes (like pupils, not entirely black) . one of them knocks on the door with a fucking sinister face, smiling, and i think his eyes light for a moment in green ( but that may be from another scene in the movie). the young guy is shown again in the room and he scared shitless (much like me) and he starts screaming "no... no... no!!" after that i ran to my room and hid like under a blanket or something so i'm not sure what happened next.

i'm pretty sure this movie is pretty old not sure how old it is. may be from 60's 70's or 80's too but it can't be after 96' it that narrows it down. the footage was pretty shitty so it can't be too new.

anyway i know it's a long shot but i'd like to know the name of the movie and try to watch it again (hopefully without running to my room...). i hope someone here has enough to go by and is able to know what i'm talking about...

anyway thx for anyone who read this far and tried to understand what the hell i'm talking about.

It is sort of similar to "White Noise" and "Boogeyman" and probably came out around the same time.

It is most definitely a B movie.

The movie starts off with a woman putting her children to sleep and using white noise as a comforting sound. The "creature" hates, is annoyed, by white noise. It stays out of sight but once it latches onto a person, it can be seen. Once it latches onto the person it attempts to make them shut off the noise, but usually ends up killing them. The woman walks in the next morning to see her son blood eagle in his bedroom.

Movie title please?

I think it came out around 2005, but that may be completely off.

It's fairly recent - last 6 years or so? It's about a house where a killer engaged in a lot of murders. Now, a group of teenagers are investigating the house, and I think they find a videotape, and one of the teenagers is slowlly becoming a new killer?

Directly behind the man(?) is an old theatre style popcorn machine and further back behind him is a dead guy in a blue button up dress shirt sitting up against a wall.

The man is looking down at table where there are two dead guys, one sitting on a chair slumped over the table and the other one laying on top of the table. There is also a severed bloody head on the floor right next the man's(?) left(right facing) foot.

The above is a scene from a movie.... I've given the best description I can. Does anyone know the name of the film?

Thank you-

I have been asking this question for years, and no one knows. Someone finally suggested the 80s TV anthology series, "the Hitch-Hiker", though not a particular episode. I checked out volumes from my local library, but unfortunately not all episodes are included, so to save myself some time, I thought I would try my luck here.

I saw this on TV in 1989-1990. The scene went like this. A girl in her late teen years is in a vacant classroom (there were empty chairs and desks). The girl I think had black leather clothes and light brownish pulled back hair. She is walking towards the front of the class towards a chalkboard. As she is walking towards the front, a disembodied head of a young man goes flying throughout the classroom, eventually landing on its corpse, which it is seen laying down beneath the chalkboard near the main desk.

I know this is very vague, but can anyone please help? People also suggested, the Amazing Stories episode "Head of the Class" (not it), "Return to Horror High" (not it), I do not think it is any of the "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies (though it had a very similar atmosphere), it is not "Re-Animator" or "Bride of Re-Animator", as well as other guesses, but it comes down to an episode of "the Hitch-Hiker" or the film, "Cutting Class." If it is an episode of "the Hitch-Hiker", then which episode is it? Any help is truly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Another one, sorry.

Someone told me of this Korean or Persian horror film, in which features a woman who constantly lives on dog food, and stores the heart of a man (or someone) in her refrigerator to keep it fresh. I know this is not much to go on, but can anyone please help with this too? Thanks.

As the tittle suggests I'm having allot of trouble attempting to find any name or relationships with vague memories that I have of significant horror movies that I viewed in the past.

In particular there are only two movies or a series that I'm currently hunting after. The first one is a movie that sort of centered around The Omen theme. Not the omen itself, although the main character of the plot is essentially a daemon or Antichrist I have little to no memory of the movies name only that the plot was essentially that this being is committed unbelievable acts of evil that eventually led to him attempting to taking over the world and almost abolishing religion etc.

The opening scene I recall is when his brother is born and he attempts to roast him in nearby fire place but fails and is shipped off to military school as a result. Then during some point of his training during a paintball exercise he uses his daemonic powers to "sink" paint ball shots into another participants body armor effectively killing him. And in another scene while at military school around graduation, he intimidates his superior officer or superior trainer (I can't remember exactly why hes talking to him in private) to give him some kind of additional praise or significant advancement after showing off his power to summon a shadowy daemon dog. I believe his brother has some kind of significant role in the plot but its all a blur to me though on some level he obviously thought him as shifty.

The last I can remember is when this daemon child ascends to the level of gourmet/religious leader status he negotiates with China to surrender to their uniting cause, then sends a host of wasps that invades their city after they initially refuse. I also remember tanks and China turning on the daemon fellow but again this all guess work on my part. In any case I have discretely described these details with those who might have some idea in real life but unfortunately they do not share my fascination with gore and inventive ways to die so I have come here to look for answers.

Anyway the second movie is more centered on Halloween. This movie has a similar plot design as that of Sin City only that instead of blasting everyone with guns, allot of people meet unfortunate deaths for their negligence or poor choices in the past. In any case it all has to do with a bus load of kids that the parents apparently orchestrated to have die or taken to some hellish demise that ends up launching off a ledge last Halloween into a lake that only the bus driver survives. (since he wasn't strapped down or chained to his seat).

And then all these sub-plots develop, one about a group of teen age girls that turn out to be werewolves that some kind of vampire freak guy gets killed by in the forest (You think its an orgy at first until the werewolves start striping out of their skins). Another is about a group of kids that visit the lake initially its a prank on one of the more "outcasted" girls since she turns out to be related in some way to the bus driver, then everything turns pair shaped as it turns out the children from the bus are zombies of some kind and she abandons the pranksters to their doom of having their flesh consumed down the cliff side since she locked herself in the only way out as it where in this metal elevator cage.

Lastly is the story about the bus driver, hes an old creepy man now and just takes candy off trick or treaters..until this thing that has like a bag over its head turns up and really wants some candy, almost killing him the process the creature gets what he wants and see that he has a change of heart after almost having a piece of candy rammed in his chest or something or other like that. The creature then moves on seeing a couple smash their pumpkin "wards" that he kills in the opening of the movie. The old man settles into the routine of giving up candy briefly..that is until the dead kids that he left in the lake turned up at his door step and then the movie ends with the chilling thought of knowing his inevitable demise. You would think I could turn up something with this much information, unfortunately I seemed to have confused the movies title with a move called Halloween that's similar to Friday the 13th type of movies.

In any case any clarification or titles of what these movies are would be greatly appreciated as I was unable to in the past fully admire the craft in which they where created and executed.

There is a horror movie I want to see but I can't think of the title. All I have to go on is that these people are doing an experiment were they try to prove that if you believe in something enough that it becomes real.

old taxi driver who frightens his customers by telling them scary stories.?
Which movie featuring an old taxi driver who frightens his customers by telling them scary stories.?
The movie is a series of shorts that are these stories.

I remember the first story with French actress Audrey Tautou whose car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. She has to face her fears until the towing guy of the insurance company shows up` except it isn't really him...

(checked her filmography` no luck... may be it wasn't her)

Another story if I remember correctly is a couple in Room Number 13 of a motel and there's some sort of massacre.

A third story is about a cheating husband going all the way to another city to buy prostitutes` only to find his daughter at the door...

Ring any bells? I'd love to know the title.

im looking for this movie or tv show.

Hey all, noob here. Not sure if I posted in the right area, so I'm sorry in advance if I missed something and posted incorrectly.

I am looking for a film that was made between 2008 and 2012. It's gotta be a psychological thriller or horror film but i don't know for sure, as I have only seen the trailer and it was pretty confusing. Here goes.

This middle aged guy discovers a "bizarre" video and takes it over to his friends house. He makes his friends promise to never tell anyone they have seen it. They all sit and watch this video but the content of the video is never actually shown, leaving us the audience intrigued to what the men watched.. aliens? snuff? etc. The guys all have this look of "what the hell did I just watch" on their faces. If I remember correctly the guy that brings the video over becomes addicted or obsessed with the video.*

It was just a bizarre trailer and I should have written the name down. Sadly I never saw it again. I don't even know what genre to classify this movie in but the trailer was definitely eerie. Very creepy.*

Does anyone have any idea what that movie is titled? It has been driving me crazy for weeks. Maybe I am just crazy and imagined the whole thing..*
