Hi Everybody,
I would like to ask anybody if they might be able to help me on figuring out the name if this Horror film that I watch as a kid. I watch this film when I was 10 -12 ish, which that would be roughly 20 years ago. Back then it scared the $hit out of me.
Here it goes,
The scene I remember is an Alien type creature that would throw a alien flesh ninja star thing, It would land on the back of your neck, and these tubes or feelers would inject into your skin and to my memories it would either control you or suck something out. I remember seeing a farm type of setting. Thats all I have.
Thats all I have, can anyone help me on figuring out this movie. Or at least point me into a helpful direction.
Thanks,
Mike

That would be WITHOUT WARNING - 1980 -
starred Jack Palance, Martin Landau and David Caruso
Had somewhat similar plot of an Alien "hunting humans" on earth as the Predator movie in 87 - Also note the Alien in this flick was played by Kevin Hall who played the Predator vs Arnie

hi everyone, I'm new here to these forums :), well anyway,
I'm trying to remember the name of this scary movie I seen back in the 90's it wasnt in movie theaters and it was on TV only, and it was made in the summer of 1997, 1998, or 1999 somewhere around there, possibly in the summer of 2000
anyways the movie is about this family that goes on a vacation to a small town thats really strange and all the people in the town are kinda weird and the family stays there for I think the whole summer and they stay in a house or something and while their there, some kind of evil spirit or evil unknown creature is trying to kill the family or harrass them (cant really remember) and all kinds of weird stuff starts happening in the house and the family is afraid to sleep in there rooms and they all wind up sleeping in the living room and no one can see the evil spirit/creature but they can hear it and sense its there, and I think the family tries to escape and leave the town and at the end of the movie the family is driving back home down the highway and its kinda dark and the evil sprit/creature or what ever it was hits the windshield, in the movie, what ever hit the windshield at the end it kind of looked like a huge cockroach or a really big bug, thats all I can really remember about the movie and I was wondering if it sounds familiar to anyone and if they know the name of the movie?
another thing I remember from the movie is one of the family members comes up missing or something and I think it was either the son or father, and the family is trying to find him

I don't know what being the "friggin' man" garners me, hopefully a gift in the mail, but at the very least hopefully a reply to this thread that says something like, "Holy shit, I can't believe you knew that."
Really I just wanted to know if this was the correct film or not.......looks like newbies posting a "what movie is this" and then never returning is quite commonplace....

Sounds like one of the "Amityville Horror" movies.

Hi everyone,
i'm just trying to remember the name of this movie. I'm not sure if it was in 80's or 90's. I have a very large souvenir of this and i want to retrieve the title to watch it again.
The plot is some bunch of people plugging themselves on some sort of animal that looks like a purple or pink jellyfish. I remember it was called "A Pod", It has a kind of tentacul that you can connect on your arm or neck, i'm not sure.
And when you are connect, you can play in a realistic world like The Matrix and do your fantasies, but somewhere in the movie, they connect to the game while they are already in the game so they can't recover in reality.
Does this gives an hint to somebody?
thank you to answer

Yes. Yes I do.
And that other movie DOES sound like an Amityville movie, that's the first thing I thought as well....but I sure in the hell don't remember any giant cockroach, or anything of the like...

I'll try once again with my synopsis of 90's movie or episode of horror TV show...
I can remember the man who comes on house party. While entering the house, he is stopped by the familiar voice from the backyard dark which says him not to enter, but he ignores it. During the party, things become strange, it seems that people can't stop dancing, and after a while some of them freeze and stand still. Man is scared and tries to escape, but doors and windows are broken. He manages to reach a roof of the house through fireplace, jumps on a tree near the house walls and falls on the ground. While getting up he looks at the house and its main entrance and sees himself entering in. He screams ''No, don't go there!'' and collapses...
I appreciate any help, thanks in advance!

I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid...and I only remember 3 scenes. The movie took place in either a forest or jungle, and I believe it may fit into supernatural horror genre. anyway....one scene i remember is a man walked into a small cabin and saw a snake crawling through the eyesockets of a human skull. another scene is a man and woman are "going at it" on the ground, and before you know it, a knife (with no visible hand or body) comes down on top of them and kills them both (which makes me think it was some type of invisible killer), and the third scene is a man possibly in camo or green clothing sitting in a tree with a gun, and I believe the "killer" might have cut his throat. that's all i can remember about the movie. It wasn't slapstick horror or funny in any way....and it scared the everliving crap out of me. i hope someone has some idea of what this may be. you can email me directly

THANKS! BTW i believe the movie came out late 70's early 80's

ANYWAY, I'd say with 90% certainty you are looking for "The Resurrection" starring Christopher Lambert.

Good looking out. Thought you had forgot. And, actually, quite honestly, I have not seen it. I just used to work at a video store, and I always got a kick out of any movie with Lambert in it. That guy is pure kitsch. One of the finest B-Movie actors around. I simply remember reading the back and later looking it up on IMDB and rottentomatoes.

Vaguely sounds like "The Serpent and the Rainbow," but I haven't seen it in probably about 15 years, so I can't say with any certainty. And that's only because there are a lot of snakes in it. And it takes place in Haiti. So, yeah, probably not it.
Good luck.

Long ago.....late 70's, I was about 8 years old and was up late one night watching tv hoping to come across a good horror film.
I was hoping someone could help me track down two films that I remember coming across that night.
The first one all I can remember was a scene where someone was driving and old 40's model black sedan or limo. They were chasing someone who was running on the road. As they got close to them a large blade sprung from the door and cut the victims down. The passenger in the car was a large man dressed much like a 40's gangster. That's all I can remember of the film. It seemed really scary at the tim but then I was only 8.
The second film I never saw but it was a trailer that came on during a commercial break from the above film. The trailer showed a painting of a hand and on each finger of the had was a severed head. The narrator said the film was so scary that they could not show scenes on television. For some reason I seem the remember the title as "guts" or "grits" or something like that. Again I was only 8 so I could be way off on the title but I am sure of the painting of the hand and heads...
Do either of these ring a bell to anyone out there?
Thanks ahead of time.....and good horror to you all!

Sorry if i'm posting in the wrong place. First time on forum. I REALLY need help finding out the title of a horror film. From what i can remeber, i think, it's set in a wahouse or something like that. The people in the waxhouse are looking at the waxhouse scenes, and then the story of the scene is re-enacted, via flashback or something like that. The one's i can remeber are a werewolf scene. The scene is then re-told, it's in some sort of farmhouse. Somebody gets attacked by a werewolf, and somebody else after is about to turn into a werewolf and get shot mid transformation. The scene of that happening is the scene set out in the waxhouse. Another scene is of the marquis de sade. The flashback is of the marquis beating, or maybe torturing some comely wench. somebody tries to rescue her, and she says something like 'please don't let them take me', inferring she is actually enjoying it, that is the scene being displayed in the waxhouse. I remember this bit because it's quite kinky!!! I also think there is some sort of scenes involving a mummy. I think the movie is mid80s, as that's when i saw it, although obviously it could be older, i think it looks 80s/70s though. I'm sorry if this thread is long and meandering and if the details are a bit sketchy. But please try to help, i'm desperate!!!!!!

may be waxhouse?? Sounds about the right time period. Can't find the film on 'imdb' and having trouble finding it on google, can you give me any more info on it? Director, producer, stars, etc. Then i can at least go from there. Thank you for trying to help. Definitely isn't the 4th film down on imdb 'wax' partial match. Is it perhaps called something else on imdb. I am english, and some horrors have different titles over hear than in america. Anyone else any ideas what film i mean, please, please help!!!!!!! P.S, if it helps, the stories element of the film (werewolf, marquis, mummy?) were sort of flashbacks, a bit like 'creepshow' or 'tales from the crypt', only they were a part of the film, rather than just stories being told and the story of the film itself was 'teens trapped, or dared, to spend the night in waxhouse' sort of thing. It may have had 'monster' in the title also, though i could just be imagining that and the story bit also . Probably confused matters, but please help!!!!!

Because it talks about wax figures & various stories being told, one of them being about a werewolf...seems strange to have found another film with both those elements...

Now i know what the film is i would really like to see it again, as it has tonnes of horror references in it apparently, and i'm much more a horror fan now than i was then, and didn't get the references back then. What references for the newer one? Freddy, Jason, Jigsaw? let's hear yours. Got you're thank you checheba, doesn't seem to have put it up. Anyway, thank you so very, very , much

assumning you mean what horror references, there's wax figures or things relating to: the invisible man, jack the ripper, the thing (i think) it's alive, littles shop of horrors, the evil dead 2 and night of the living dead. It's over 20 years since i've seen it, so there may be more. the film also contains mummies, werewolves and vampires and frankenstein, if (somewhat hazy) memory serves me right.

Ah....i see. First off, lemmee see if I can make some sort of coherence out of all these posts.
First and foremost, this is the film you are looking for:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096426/
http://www.filmsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/Waxwork1.jpg
It is an awesome movie and stars Zach Galligan, of Gremlins fame. I don't remember references from it's alive, LSOH, or Evil Dead 2 but it has been quite a while since I have seen it in its entirety, although I did watch bits and pieces of it on Fearnet not all that long ago and don't remember seeing any of those. Mummies, dracula, werewolves yes. Integral to the plot, actually.
Now, I think where the confusion is coming in is the "remake" which is actually, I am assuming, THIS film:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0397065/
http://a1608.g.akamai.net/7/1608/1174/20051114162130/www.movietickets.com/images/photos/mt045504H1.jpg
Which is NOT a remake of Waxwork but, rather, a remake of a 1953 film of the same name.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0045888/
http://www.cryptofthedead.com/images/HouseOfWax.jpg
In these films a guy who owns a wax house turns the victims in to wax statues by....well....pouring wax in and on them. Kinda like taxidermy, I guess. I have never seen either film, because one is 57 years old, and one stars Paris Hilton, but I am 99% sure none of the wax scenes actually come to life in them.
Waxwork, the film you seem to be looking for, is a very fun film, if you don't mind it being dated.

the film i'm talking about is the Zach Galligan one, regarding the refereces, i suspect that you are right and i'm wrong, i think the 'evil dead 2' reference thing, is a dismemebred hand, though i suppose it could be a reference to films like 'the hand'; i also think the 'lSOH' plant thing may have being a reference to the 'invasion of the bodysnatchers' . I also read somewhere that they were going to put waxworks of freddy and jason in the film, but for some reason or other, they didn't (copyright worries perhaps?). anywho, thanks for the info and the reply.
P.S do you remeber the marquis de sade scene, very sexy, though i'm perhaps in a minority regarding that!

Alright, I'm new to this forum but I think this is the right place to ask. Anyway, here we go.
So I'm trying to recall a horror movie from maybe late 1990's to early 2000. It took place in a kind of haunted house, where at least 5 to maybe 10 people where staying. I distinctly remember some kind of garden as well, and maybe something relating to a rose? One scene was where a women was being dragged by her feet down a hallway into the darkness by someone or something. Not sure of this one scene, but I think there was one where a guy was looking into a fridge and something reached out to grab him.
I know it's not much to go on, but any help would be great at this point! I can't figure out what movie it is and it's starting to bug me!

I saw this one movie maybe ten years ago. All i can recall is a group of people in a house, demons were trying to get in. The only way the group seemed to fight the demons was by using the blood of Jesus or something; i believe they somehow had his heart actually. I remember them using it to seal doorways and if the demons tried passing through they would just disintegrate. I liked the movie but was only about ten at the time so i can't remember the name. Any help would be appreciated

Kind of sounds like Demon Knight (1995). It's a Tales from the Crypt movie.

So, I recall this movie from when I was about 5 or so, so I'm estimating that this movie is from the 80s, possibly the late 70s? I only recall some scenes from the movie, though I was young so my recollection might not be accurate to the actual movie. Any help provided in order to help me find the title of this movie is greatly appreciated.
I remember that the movie involved a mother (she was older, seemingly in her 60s or possibly older), and her son. She became infected with something when an older gentlemen she went on a date with 'bit' her in an alleyway. After she was bit, I remember seeing her standing next to the gentleman that bit her, and she had all pointy teeth and possibly red eyes. Her son was also spying on her at this time, and saw what happened to her.
Another scene I recall is that she would eat people. Her son was trying to cover up the murders for her, so I remember him packing body parts into black garbage bags to dispose of.
Finally, I remember the end of the movie involved a fire that was in this woman's house. The son was trying to save her from the fire, though she was sitting on the floor of presumably the kitchen. She was saying that she was a monster and that she needed to die in the fire, so the son left her to burn in the house.
This is all I can recall from the movie, and some of it is definitely spotty. I've posted in other forums trying to find the title of this movie, though I haven't had much success. Someone once mentioned that it sounded like Flesh Eating Mothers, however I recently Netflixed that movie, and it wasn't the same movie that I'm talking about, though it's definitely an 80s b-rate.
Edit: My brother said that the title was something like 'My Mom is a Zombie,' though I haven't found any movies with this, or a similar, title. Also, I don't recall the woman decaying, or being 'brainless,' or any general 'zombie' qualities, so I'm not sure if this is accurate. However, I thought I would mention it in the chance that it rings a bell for someone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks, everyone.

Need help finding a horror film for my wife. She thinks it was made in the 40s or 50s and is sure it's in black and white. she doesn't know much, but what she does know is this. The film is a ghost story/supernatural type affair, rather than a horror, and she thinks the name of it, is something like 'carmel' or 'carmella' or something like that. All she can remeber of the film is that she thinks it's one of those 'haunted house' type things and that there is a wind or something blowing through the house, and the wind itself is a ghost of a gypsy (which is called carmella or whatever) (she's pretty certain about it being a gypsy). However she can't remember any specific scene or any actors/actresses in it That's all i can tell you, however my wife is pretty sure that the title of the film is also the same name as the ghost/gyspy in it. akin to how the film 'carrie' is about a girl called carrie. i'm sorry i'm giving you so very little to go on, however i do know that there are a lot of classic horror fans on this site, and i desperately hope someone can help me. thanks for any help you can give me.

First of all, whats up man! The brotherhood of Gore!
Anyway, my pal here, saw a slasher, but has no idea what's it called!
Heres what he told me: the begining tells where's the action (costa rikha or something), there's an island, a teenage camp, a killer in the woods with a mask. the killer turns out to be one of the teenagers in the camp.
EDIT: also he remembered that Character name is in the title
Say anything you think of, it might just help.

Long ago I read a paperback book about these lodgers who were being stalked by this invisible, demonic force. The first chapter of the book describes a serene forest somewhere in New England. A deer wonders into either a pasture or a near a pond; it's winter, there's snow on the ground. The deer is being stalked by a bear. The bear attacks the deer and just before the bear delivers the deadly blow this invisible force snatches up the bear, rips the skin from it and drags it's dead carcass through the forest.
I remember these lodgers happened across this invisible demon's lair where there were literally hundreds of skeletal remains and rotted carcasses and they were so terrified they tried to leave but the thing followed them back to the lodge. I wish, wish I knew the name of this book. All I remember is that the cover is of a dark forest with sunlight barely peeking through, and that the title was one word that started with a "P". If anyone could help me with this I would so greatly appreciate it. You have no idea. Thank you!

Hi all,
Please help me out here. When I was about ~10 years old (~1982) my older brother rented this monster movie and I cant remember the name of it. The thing is that I keep it on my mind all the time and it just wont go away or reveal its name for me. So I just gotta see it again and let my mind rest from it.
What I remember:
A team of people (scientist?) investigates some abnormal activity i a big forrest. (canada?) Its winter. Huge clawmarks on trees... They find some wierd, monster-babys lying dead in a river... And offcourse they find the mother monster. Its big like a grizzly but without fur.... They try to keep/kidnap some of the monster babys...
My memory is really vague since it's some 25 years ago I saw it. I belive on the cover is monster-baby inside an egg with big claws... Colours goes in greenish/yellow...
I've searched all over the place and talk to people about it but no luck. I hope you can help me out here...
Thanks!

well, i've said it before but it bears repeating ..
the 70's were a special time for horror. It was geared at adults. major adult stars, major adult directors. the genre was taken seriously. it wasn't tongue in cheek, it wasn't about fake tits and indestructable shambling masked killers.
it was satan, monsters, the unknown.
i blame home video for what happened to horror. The Home Video market made backyard slashers incredibly profitable. Kids could see 2 or 3 pairs of big fake tits, splashing blood, and crude jokes without their parents knowing. You could make any crap film you wanted - direct to video. as long as it had a suggestive name, a lurid cover, and at least one pic of a girl in ripped lingerie on the back - it would rent. I know there is a lot of nostalgic love for this era - many folks got their first exposure to horror with these films.
but for the most part they arent good. they are more often than not sad imitations of better films - starring kids (because kids want to watch kids) who cant act, directed by untalented first time directors.
The genre became a joke.
it wasnt until just recently - and i'll credit the japanese with this - that horror began to be taken seriously again. The japanese were making profitable influential films mixing their old cultural fears with the obsession for modern technology and it worked. Adults were once again featured in horror films. the genre became to be taken seriously and that eventually lead to the strongest boom of horror we've seen since my beloved 70's.
there's still a fair bit of crap but i can easily find 15 - 20 films that are modern classics to me made in the last 10 years. and tons of excellent films that fall just below the 'classic' benchmark.
i dont think horror has ever been stronger as a film genre.
we dont have the grit of the 70's anymore - or those classic actor/directors
but there are certainly a new breed of young clever directors working now who really do care about horror and are trying to do new things.

Hi,
I'm looking for a movie, which is probably not really a horror but it's about killing, my mum has been talking about bout it ... it's from between 1970 and 1990 she thinks, as she saw it when she was younger.
Se says it's about a young boy staying with his sick grandpa in his castle and there's a toy chamber with new inventions or something ... it's christmas eve and the boy [about 9 or 10] is waiting for santa underneath a table with a camera and binoculars. then when santa comes it's not what he expected as he starts stealing stuff [even santa cookies] then he somehow hears the boy and starts i think chasing after him, and the boy fights back making traps of his toys and using them for ex. putting a camera in a toy car to see where the guy was and such ...
the santa also wanted to kill the grandfather as he wasn't able to run so the boy helped out somehow, going over the roof with him and putting him in a knight suit where he later faints and the boy revives him somehow ...
as you can see it's all a bit blurry but apparently it's a french movie ....
any help is appreciated =)
Thank you,
Anna

Hi everyone, I'm trying to find the title of a film I saw several times in the 1980's/early 1990's when I was very young. My memories are only very vague. I remember it was about a boy who had nightmare or visions of a ghost or creature of some sort. I think he was able to traval through a green mist in his basement to defeat it or something like that. I also recall a scene where he received a key from the mouth of a puppet or something similar. I know it's not much to go on, but if anyone can help I would be glad to hear from you.

Hello, I'm searching for a movie that I've seen in the late 90's. I saw it at an old schoolfriend's house. I'm pretty sure it was an indie film because I can't seem to find it by description. I watched only the ending portion of it, a woman was being held captive by a male captor who was torturing her. I remember the movie was always very dark, as in lacking lighting and she was kept in a dark room. I remember a vivid scene in which he tears off a toenail (or fingernail, can't remember) and the woman doesn't even flinch, the captor freaks out immediately thereafter, realizing he cannot torture her anymore. That's all I can remember. Hope someone can help me out here I really want to see it again.
Thanks.

Hey whats up guys, I have been buying tons of movies for my horror collection lately and there are 2 I have seen that I just cannot remember the names. If anyone can help that would be awesome
1st movie
Pretty sure the setting was overseas in England or France, these people steal some money and are escaping the town. They go to a random hotel in the middle of nowhere (out in the country) and these crazy people who run the hotel (its like a crazy family) start capturing, killing and enslaving the people. The family is run by a man who was a nazi, and has kidnapped several people that are now in his family. He wants to make his newly kidnapped girl a new wife for one of his family members. It was a really brutal but cool style movie, kind of reminded me of the style of hostel (though that generally is not the style of horror movie I enjoy). Was probably made around 2003-2006 if I was to guess.
2nd movie
These people move into an inherited house and they soon find out a story of some miner children who were buried alive in the nearby mines. Some weird stuff starts happening and they come to find out the miner children are haunting the land nearby. Also a new school movie, probably made around 2005 or 2006
Thanks guys!

This is a movie I saw on TV back in 1986, but don't know the title. I do know it starts with "The." Here are the details: the plot is about some hideous creature that kills people. It seems to move along very fast, because the camera shows the first-hand perspective of the monster as it moves.
The only two main details I recall is, there was a repairman sitting in his van, unaware that the creature was stealthily approaching him. The man is attempting to start his van, which doesn't start. The creature, which is actually INVISIBLE attacks him, and blood is splattered on the windshield and everywhere else. Even though the man isn't killed, his face starts bubbling and mutating.
In another scene is another character who seems to have psychic powers. He says about the man in the van, "He's changing!"
The next detail I remember is the final showdown. There is another man battling the creature, which apparently becomes visible. It looks like a dragon. During the battle, there is one scene where the creature is biting the man's bloody arm.
Somehow, the creature is killed because it is seen burning. And the movie ends there.
This is much as I can remember. I hope any horror/sci-fi buff can help me out on this one. I'd love to see this one again, but I MUST KNOW THE NAME!!!!

I seem to recall a movie where a man stops for a woman to get into his car, and there is something wrong with her...She is homicidal or infected or carries a parasite, I cannot remember...Anyway, at one point, the man puts his hand on her thigh(s) and the skirt or dress she is wearing is pushed upwards and then something happens that kills the man, but again I cannot recall what. I was a child when I saw that movie, and I was watching it in secret, so I can hardly put togehter much of the movie itself. Anyone know where this scene could have been from? It must be a 70's or 80's flick. Thanks .

I saw a trailer for a new movie on the internet, but now I forgot the name of the movie. I read a review about the movie too, but still can't remember the name. The trailer shows a guy going to an abandoned oil or gas mine in the middle of the desert. He looks around and nobody is there, then he find a woman and she is shown showering in the trailer. Then it shows her trying to murder him and a scene where she is jogging in the desert. Everything takes place in the desert and it looks like the guy is hallucinating or something. Can anyone help me identify the movie. I think it is brand new and might be a UK movie, don't think it is U.S. made.

I read about a movie that was released maybe 1-2 years ago-something about a man who was lost or stranded on a mountain and he finds or is found by a woman or women who had a cabin there.
The woman/women were killers.
I can't for the life of me think what the title was and it's driving me nuts.
Does anyone remember anything like this?
I want to say the title had something to do with snow, or cold or ice, but I've done endless searches and can't find it.
Thanks!

This one should be pretty easy for someone around here.
Read this on the back cover of a VHS...never hired whatever it was...
All I remember is reading that it was about a dude who'd just returned from a tour of duty of some kind...?maybe vietnam?...and like, he was turning into a zombie and people mistook it for shellshock?

I know I would recognize the title if I heard it, but it was not a major release, nor did it have any names I recogized in it.

I know I saw it either there or amazon and read about it-just can't recall too much!
I'm thinking, though, there may have been a reference to the women or women being witches perhaps?
Does that help at all?

My memories are vague of this film, but here are some of the details I remember-
1) It was in black and white.
2) The protagonists may have been on some island, being chased by some Tiki God who looked like a man in a tree costume.
3) The monster had some sort of knife embedded in his torso, which was what finished him off when somehow it was plunged completely in.

I'm new here obviously but believe this is the thread to ask this question in.
I'm sittin' at work tonight watching Terror Train on IFC and I start thinking back to an older horror movie that has some terrible acting in it but it has been stuck in my mind for a couple hours now and I am dying to find out what movie it was.
Now, I don't recall much about the movie but I do remember two small scenes.
Toward the end of the movie the main guy in the movie goes to the trunk of his car and pulls out what I believe was a clown mask that he is gonna put on when he kills the girl I believe.
Another part shows him and this girl sneaking out of a window and the only thing I can recall is she had on some red heels and white socks of some sort.
Not sure why that sticks in my mind but those two scenes do.
I kept wanting to think the movie was something along the lines like
into the darness or through the darkness or into the night or through the night.
I tried an IMDB search and any movie close to those names don't seem right.
Anyhow, any help would be lovely.

Something about Squid/Octopi like creatures that live in a coal mine and come up into basements of homes and kill the residents. A scene she remembers involves a poodle looking down into a dark basement and being snatched away by a monster. Also, a man/woman going to their car in the garage and being pulled under the car by a monster. Friend thought it was called 'Tentacles' but can't seem to find it, and now I want to see it. Any Ideas?

I know someone traumatized as a child from a movie they believe was created in the 80s. They describe the clip as a woman and man in bed together. Suddenly something that looks like a massive "hot dog" starts coming out of his mouth. (at this point she ran out of the room and her friend continued to describe the video as...) The creature comes out of the man, grows (or has) legs and begins to eat them (or just the women).
Does anyone know a movie like this? lol

Hi, back in the 60's or 70's, i watched a tv show kinda light night gallery(but i do not think it was ) anyway in this episode there was a little wooden doll with a chain necklace, the necklace contained the evil within the doll and was not to be removed. Unfortunately the wooden doll gets knocked off the table and the chain falls off, it comes to life and terrorises the lady in the apartment.
Has anyone seen this show? Thanks in advance for any info.

When I was a kid, I saw the ending of a movie where this little white monster, with no legs, chokes a woman to death and this guy comes in, pulls the monster off, yells at him, and tries to stuff it in a picnic basket or something but the monster pops out of the basket or whatever and grabs the guy by the balls. All I remember of what came next was the both of them falling out of a window and the monster grabs on to a flag pole while holding the guy by the neck. The guy chokes to death and the monster loses his grip and the credits role as you see the two of them lying dead on the pavement with people looking at them.
Yeah, I know it's not a whole lot to go on, but ANY help would be awesome. Thanks.

I saw a horror movie in the 70's when I was around 10 years old. I was spending the night at a friend's house and his dad took us and it has creeped me out for years, but I have never been able to remember the name.
It starts out where a lady is in bed and her husband is in the bathroom shaving. The alarm clock goes off and she spills her orange juice. Then they leave and go to this haunted place where the husband cheats on her (it had nudity, which was AWESOME for a 10 year old) and she ends up being buried alive. Then all of a sudden she wakes up. It was a dream. Except for the fact that everything starts happening the exact same way; orange juice spilling, husband shaving. The movie ends with the wife going ballistic about not wanting to go. It was awesome, and I have wanted to know the name of the movie, but I cannot figure it out. Please help and give me solice after 20 years of wracking my brain. Thanks!!

Hello all.
It's my first post on this forum, please excuse me if my English isn't perfect.
I'm trying to find the title of some horror movie I saw in the 90's when I was 10 years old.
I think the movie is from the late 80's or early 90's but I'm not sure. I don't know from which country it come.
What I remember of this movie :
- At the beginning, a young couple is victim of a car accident. The man is hurt and the woman goes asking for help at some isolated house or mansion.
- Then all the story take place in this house, which is inhabited by strange people. I think the woman and her unconscious husband is hold prisonner in the house.
- At some point we learn that the man is dead, or at least that what people of the house tell to the woman. Actually I think that the owner of the house want to keep the woman with him and so say her that her husband is dead.
- One of the character is an old man in a wheelchair, who's got a drill with which he commits murders. But he's not the only freak in the house.
- In some scene I think someone loose his head. I remember that we see a chair with a headless corpse in it.
- The film is not a comedy but a "serious" horror movie. I found it was gore and scary when I first saw it (but maybe not so much actually since I was a kid). I don't remember how the movie ends.
There could be some mistakes in my description.
If anybody has an idea it would helpful, I have been looking for this movie for years.
Thank you!

Hi all
I have two movies that I just cant figure out what they are called.
For the first one:
I watched this about ten years ago when I was around ten years old on tv. I am not sure if it was an episode to some horror show or if it was a movie. Anyway, It was about an alien invasion on a farm, or some isolated house, and the whole movie is seen through a handheld camera. One scene that I always remember is when a boy is walking around the house and aims the camera at his crotch and exclaims 'I pissed my pants' or something like that. And I think that the aliens were not dangerous until one of the men shoots at them first.
Another movie I cant think of the name, is a movie I was watching on and off in a common room at uni while I was playing darts, thus why I can not remember much about it, including its name.
In this movie, strange things happen. I think that a group of teenagers are in some tropical jungle or something. Two scenes I remember well is that there was a cellphone ringing, and this girl goes into the bushes to retrieve it, only to find out that the phone is dead, and that the bushes made it come to life, or something like that. Another scene is this guy breaks his leg, and they only way he can survive is if they cut it off. They all argue about it, and eventually they decide to cut it off, by smashing it with a huge rock. And I think he eventually dies, and the group start arguing, and then the vines or bushes come to life and take him or something.
Any help is much appreciated! Hope someone can help me out :)
Cheers!

A very long time ago when I was a little kid I watched a horror movie which was in black and white where there was a person with no face or you couldn't see their face sitting on a bed sending out henchman to kill people, I believe it was a motel they were in.
But I remember my sister saying I shouldn't be watching this because it was a horror movie.
does this sound familiar to anyone?

Hello to everyone. I know this is kind of inappropriate, as i should start with a thread in the "Introduce Yourself" section, but i won't be a regular member that's why i'm starting here.
Needless to say that, I love horror movies and especially the non-colored! There's magic surrounding most of those (at least to my eyes).
Anyway the reason i'm writing this, is cause i need your help and knowledge! I'm searching for this movie for 11 years now, but the lack of information i have hasn't given me any results.
The movie is not colored (if i remember right) and it was about a group of young people that wanted to scare some of their friends and decided to make a prank. So they built a monster and when they came to this house they scared 'em but soon enough a real zombie came there from a lake. And this zombie was somehow connected to a necklace a girl wore and was driven by it's magic power. The movie ended (if again my memory does not fail me) with a message and a guy reading an anouncement of some kind that this "zombie was a prisoner that was chained".
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Just read the plot on Wikipedia and although it has some of the elements i mentioned, it doesn't quite fit with the memories. In fact i'm quite certain that's not the one (if i could see the last 10 minutes of the movie, i could then delete it from the list :D)

Thanks!!
It may be from an anthology series, check out the following site:

A very long time ago when I was a little kid I watched a horror movie which was in black and white where there was a person with no face or you couldn't see their face sitting on a bed sending out henchman to kill people, I believe it was a motel they were in.
But I remember my sister saying I shouldn't be watching this because it was a horror movie.
does this sound familiar to anyone?
This does not seem familiar to anyone?? I'm positive it was in black and white omg idk why this particular movie has stuck with me but it has.......

I believe it was from the 80s because I was young when I saw it. It was a scifi/horror monster movie I guess. It had a human like monster that, from what I remember and can only describe as a mix between Lord Zed from Power Rangers without his mask and the monsters from Feast. I believe it took place underground in a lab of some sort, out in the middle of nowhere. I remember the end one of the "scientists" or whatever escaped to the surface which were like arid rocks in the middle of nowhere with the thing walking after him/her.
This description might be too vague but its what I can remember.
I saw the dvd once a long time ago at best buy but have never seen it again and cant remember what it was called.
If you can help, thanks, if not, oh well. I tried...

If so - its The Revenge of Dr. X. I could be wrong because I haven't seen it in ages (and to be honest, its pretty horrid), but that was what came to mind from your description. Hope it helps.
PS - Once mods see this thread, it'll likely be moved to the Sticky in Modern Horror. Just a heads up.

Please, if anyone can help me remember the zombie movie I watched in the early 90s?
I remember only vague details:
Horror starts when [a birthday gril, I think] is in a dark room watching TV, waiting for her party to call her [or something like that], when a demon on TV comes out of the screen and possesses her. It starts a zombie epidemic. In the process, a fitness club gets attacked, and although they bravely fight back, ultimately the zombies prevail.
It may not have been an american movie, but it has mostly white actors.

The opening scene shows a dog laying down dead and then slowly decaying untill all its bones are showing.
Think the theme of the film was about some crazy guy who had a mental disorder and might been a zombie or something that came from the grave or wanted to bury himself again?
Any ideas?

First of all, sorry for my english. Anyway, when I was a kid I saw on TV this horror movie which really scared me :)
I only remember this: The story was about a couple. The husband died, but somehow came back from the dead and visited his wife. She was scared of him, because he bahaved little bit strange - for example he didn't feel any pain. There was a scene when he got burned by cooker or something like this and he didn't feel anything - his wife was quite disturbed by this. I also remember scene with the husband going out from the sea and his eyes was glowing red. (This was the moment I truned the movie off - I was a kid :) I also remember there was some love scenes and thats all :)
It could be movie from 70s or 80s, I'm not really sure.... I saw it in the first half of 90s.

Hello,
I'm trying to remember a horror movie I saw a long time ago. It came out in either the late 90s or early 2000s. It was about a boy who was the killer in the style of slasher/monster horror movies; like if leather face were a boy. The cover was something like him in a red hooded jacket, like little red riding hood. The movie I think was just one word like his name, something like Milo.
There is one scene I remember. Him and a bunch of kids are in this dark place like a basement and he enters another room with one other person, then you see a bunch of blood coming out from under the door.
I know this isnt much to go off of but I'm hoping a horror movie buff can help me out!
Thank you for any help, this is killing me!!

I watched a film, it would have been roughly 3 years ago certainly no more. I doubt it was an old film but I may be wrong. This film contained a log cabin bar in the woods at one point were a man in a lumberjacks shirt got attacked in the dark. The film then continues with a young boy age could be between 5-9 but I may be wrong, this boy has recurrent nightmares about things attacking him in the dark, this boy then goes into a machine which could quite possibly be an mri machine, when a man stops his mother going through with it stating that this thing will attack him in the dark, his mother then falls asleep with him in a hospital room && this creature tries to get them. I really enjoyed this film, but I can't think or find the name of it to save my life, can someone please help me name this film or inform me if i'm putting a number of films together....

Found this on another site, anyone have any idea what he's talking about:
"I'm after the title of a movie from around 1987 to 1989. It is set in crime ravaged New York City and basically it is about a white male and his family (from memory) being terrorised by all the crime. There is a rape scene as I recall in the man's apartment block's laundromat. Another key scene is where the male character is walking the streets and a group of black men pull him up. Basically they threaten him with a knife and that they will bash/kill him unless he gains an erection in ten seconds or something. Yes I know that sounds bizarre but it's because it's so bizarre that it's stuck in my mind all these years."

I saw a movie in my childhood (20ish years ago), but the movie could be much older than that. It seems like the main character is in some form of law enforcement, and he came across a large rat (I think). It seems like it was humanoid and stood upright. After the encounter he ranted about needing a bigger gun. Later they bring in someone younger to help him, and after their next encounter the younger one also rants about needing a bigger gun. I am wanting to say that at some point they shot at the creature in a meat locker. I think the movie was set in the future and may have had a year in the title, but that is the most vague of my memories of this film.
Thanks in advance

Hola. After watching Sexy Beast, i realized that i had never saw it before and had it confused with another crime caper movie. All i can remember about the flick was that just as things were heating up, the main bad guy (i think) raped or otherwise had sex with one of the other bad guys. i think that i stopped the movie at that point due to a raging bout of homophobia. Unless Sexy Beast has been edited, or maybe i was so wasted that i thought i was watching a rape scene in SB that was something else, i cannot for the life of me remember what that other movie was. Grazie.

Hey!
I remember watching a science fiction/horror movie when I was a kid. Its probably from the late 80s og the early 90s. I have no idea whos acting.
From what I remember, the film starts off whit a man and a woman who drive down some dark road. Then they hit something. Man goes out to see whats up and some creature launches its tounge at him and sticks to his face. I think the creature puts some egg or something inside him. (This is not the Alien-movie)
I really dont remember much more about it, but there is an evil clown with a knife at some point in the movie.
Oh, and in the end, this guy becomes some kind of monster with a long, boney face and makes some kind of screaming noise that makes people bleed from their ears.
I really hope someone recognizes this stupid movie from this poor description!:)

Hey,
I'm looking for a horror movie that I only remember the beginning of (it's kind of a blurry memory too).
It starts with people (friends or family, I don' remember) driving a car on a pretty empty road.
Then I remember that they hit something and blood is running down the windshield...
If I'm not thinking about another movie I think I also recall a bloody hand on the car window (the drivers window) .. but I'm not sure. The people in the car get scared, anyway :)
I think I only saw the beginning of the movie because it seemed to suck :P But now I'm obsessed with finding it. Please help? :)

I watched this movie long time ago so I don’t remember it very well.
It is about three friends who discover a deserted house in the woods. They decide to spend the night in that house. In that night during a storm with lightnings two of them disappear misteriously. The one remaining(the main character) run away from that house.
Later he come with two friends to investigate that place and they discover that near the house is a cemetery. They dig a grave and they notice that the coffin is empty and they discover an underground tunnel. A storm begins and they need to hide in an abandoned trailer. One of them who is standing on the door and watching the rain is killed by a unknown creature and the other two friends notice that his face was eaten(I remember this scene clearly). They put him in the grave and leave. Then the main character has a bad nightmare with that house where he meet his two dead friends from the beging and the one with the face eaten
After a while they come back to find out what’s happening there. They enter that underground tunnel and discover the one who dig this tunnel : it is an undead creature(some kind of zombie or ghoul) but they lose it. They come back to the house and they discover that each grave has an underground tunnel that lead to a room in that house. But the night is coming and they need to hide. After a while from a hole in the floor the creatures begin to appear: they have big eyes, claws, and large teeth and they are flesheating creatures. One of them is eaten alive. But the other one(main character) survives till morning and he escapes from that house. I don’t remember what happend next in that movie. This movie was probably made in 70’s or 80’s.

Okay, this is spawned by a conversation we've been having in the Classic Horror forum (yes, people DO post there!), in a thread Roshiq started about Frankenstein.
I mentioned an indie film I saw a few years ago that dealth with the Frankenstein motif. A few have mentioned they would like to track this film down, but I cannot remember the title. I'll attempt to describe what I can remember about the film, but I'm going to sound as clueless as the newbies who logon here with little info to go on.
I saw this between 2-4 years ago on cable. From my recollection it was recent- 1990- present day, but it may be older. I can't remember if I saw it on Fearnet, some other on demand offering, or even on the IFC. It was super low-budget. The entire cast consisted of 4-5 actors.
The plot involved a young doctor who lived in the countryside somewhere with his wife. It may have been Ireland, Canada or somewhere in Europe. Unbeknownst to his wife the doctor is experienting on dead sheep in the barn, attempting to bring them back to life. Eventually, something happens to the family dog and the doctor brings it back to life, which horrifies the wife.
There's a lot of talking in this film, it's slow, and there's some low-budget acting, but I enjoyed this film for its interesting take on the Frankenstein motif, and its DIY production. I've checked around on IMDB. IFC and can't find a clue what the name of this film is.
If anyone has seen this film, or might have a clue what it might be, the help would be appreciated.

This is probably more of an scifi-flick than a horror movie, but you might know which it is anyway.
Its from the 90s. About some green aliens who try to invade the earth. The aliens wear human skin outside them selfs, and they bend theirs knees the wrong way. And they can jump really high.
I remember one scene where an alien disguised as a man got into a house and placed a little thing in the house that swallowed everything inside (like a little black hole).
There is one guy who finds out about the aliens in human skin, and he follows one of them and gets inside the alien 'base' where he is exposed and chased around.
Thats about what i remember...

Thanks a lot man! You have made my day!:) I'm very grateful to you!
To bad that this movie is so rare and hard to find.:(
No worries man - I'm hust pumped that I'm not the only one hat's heard of it, haha.
And like NE said: it's really not that hard to find as long as your not adverse to shopping online. And it's well worth tracking down if you're still into zero-budget, tripped out horror. Love it.

Hello everyone, I am seeking the title of a movie i seen in the late 70's or early 80's. It is abou a comic book artist who draws in his room. When he creates a monster in the comic book it comes to life in animated form (i think) and proceeds to kill every young person in the house and basement. any help appreciated. by the way they are all young hot babes i think. lol:(

Maybe? I'm pretty sure I caught this one a few years back, fairly interesting from what I recall.

Cactus, that just may be it. It sounds very very close. The cast is larger than I remember, and in some of the IMDB reviews there were some details I didn't remember... but a lot mentioned they saw it on IFC, which is where I think I saw it. I went to Amazon and ordered the DVD, so the mystery may be solved very soon!
Many thanks.

Ive seen a horror movie about 11 years ago and I would like to find it and watch it again.
Starts with a few teens having fun in the cemetery (or maybe that comes a bit later, not sure) then two guys find a couple of barrels with US ARMY written on them in a basement, with dead folks inside. they open them up, the guys come to life and do the usual zombie stuff. they do manage to kill them and cut them to pieces, but the pieces are still alive so they cremate them. then, rain comes in and somehow the results of the cremation fall over a cemetery and everyone comes to life and starts looking for brains to eat. Dunno what happens next, I was too young back then :)
Please help me remember the name of the movie. Thanks

I thought this movie was john carpenter, but filmography just doesn't seem to to match this movie I saw quite a few years ago.
The basic plot is that there are these creatures that exist in a separate dimension but somehow if you see them then they can get you. Two scenes I remember pretty well is that the movie begins with this sketchy friend of these other people wants to meet in a diner. While in the diner, the sketchy guy describes these things that are after him and for whatever reason decides to kill himself with a steak knife in the diner.
But now the friends know about these creatures so they go after them.
I don't remember too many other scenes except the last one which was in a hospital room where the star of the show disappears (seemingly) but has actually been captured into the creature's world through the closet and she can see out through what looks like glass and bangs on it but nobody can hear her. All around her in the dark are these creatures that you never really get a good look at but it's the darkness that's kinda creepy.
I've been trying to find the title to this movie and have just given up!
help?!? this description ring any bells for anyone??
thanks in advance!!

"sketchy" meaning he hadn't slept and was "talking crazy" about these things that were after him and stuff. I can't remember why he decided to stab himself; seems like he saw one of these things or something outside the diner.?. this is just starting to really bug me that I can't remember the title of this movie!

This is gonna be a tough one... I just remeber a bit from the trailers so... bare with me, i was 10 years old or something, and saw the trailer on a movie rental shop, it's from the same age as the The Lost Boys movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093437/... the whole movie had a green tone to it, and remember that the characters were in a elevator and they were attacked by monsters, honestly i don't remember pretty much.
It's an 80's movie, one of the few that i didn't saw and would really enjoy to see.
Sorry if i cause some headaches eheheh
