FIRST MORNING UPDATE - DAY SEVEN


Good Morning folks,

7 pairs of six-shooters have blazed through the night...2 have yet to fire.

Also, plenty of "gifting" was on throughout the night too, and it seems it was very much the need of the hour for ONE Monster.

The deadline for gifting Health Packs expired 25 minutes ago, so any PMs or emails after that will NOT be accepted and henceforth returned.

The deadline for shooting to end in Round 3 of The Hunting Season Zone expires in ONE hour and FIFTY FIVE minutes...if by then the remaining couple of six-shooters fail to fire, ALL CHAINSAWS WILL BE SHOT FOUR TIMES by the snipers in the watchtowers.

I will be back with the update after Noon EST.

Sorry about the late entry. I was on the lookout for the Assassin and managed to track him into the Mad Killers compound, but he gave me the slip.

Dammit...


I advise all Mad Killers to be very careful...and check very nook and cranny of your compound.

RESULTS OF THE HUNTING SEASON ROUND 3 SHOOTOUT


Welcome - Monsters, Mad Killers and Chainsaws.

First of all, those who sent me Health Packs got some of em back. The reason was - the person you were concerned about getting hit, didnt get shot...not even ONCE!!

One person was made a specific target, and was shot no less than...15 TIMES!!!!!

Fortunately though, he/she had THREE members of her own group looking out for him/her...these contestants donated ALL of their health packs to him/her, just in case...


But, in doing so, ONE member of THAT team overlooked his/her OWN safety...and sadly, he/she was the target of the Chainsaws who shot later on.


I am sorry to report this...but a Monster is dead...

Detailed Update of Round 3 - Hunting Season


First of all, the "gifted" health packs.

- NeverEnding donated ALL of his health packs to MurderDoll,

- VampiricClown donated ALL of his health packs to MurderDoll,

- Fortunato donated ONE of his health packs to MurderDoll,

and

- Doc Faustus donated ALL of his health packs to MurderDoll. (just one minute before the Deadline of health packs)


MurderDoll ended up with 4 of her own, and 16 donated, which made it 20 Health Packs for her.

She was shot 15 TIMES but fortunately her 20 Health Packs helped her to survive the brutal onslaught of the Chainsaws on her,

even Doc Faustus' last minute dash to her with the Health Packs was not needed, since she had miraculously survived the massacre attempt on her and got upgraded to FIT status.






BUT...




One Monster made a TERRIBLE mistake...



He donated ALL his health packs to MurderDoll, and counted on his luck to pull through...



As luck would have it, 4 bullets of the six-shooters had HIS NAME on it...and they caught him in the morning...

He had no health packs with him either...having sent all of his to MurderDoll...

And there were NO "gifted" health packs left either...



Surely, a more braver action was never done by a selfless team member...

He is DEAD, but he turned out to be more valiant than Dante...

I welcome all 3 groups - The Monsters Squad, The Mad Killers and Ash's Chainsaws - to your FOURTH Battle Royale Challenge.


Before setting forth you all on your quests for the answers...I have a VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT regarding Challenge #4.

This will be your FIRST INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGE!!

Thats right, your affinity to any particular group doesn't count in this challenge. Individual points count for the win - The first all-correct / top scoring entry I will receive WILL BE THE WINNER!

It is indeed touching to see two HDC-ians go down so bravely so that one of their team members is saved in The Hunting Season Zone.

However, you all must remember the main principle of HDC Battle Royale, and that is to crown one of you The HDC Battle Royale King/Queen. Regardless to say, only one HDC-ian will be bestowed with that honor in the end.

In the beginning, it was a team game. But now you all are confronted by your first Individual Challenge. In the future there will be several more such Individual Challenges, and while Team Spirit is really commendable, you all must remember that only one of you wins this Battle Royale in the end.

Be wise, my HDC friends, and watch out for yourselves. We can only praise or lament the brave ones which fall, but in the end we are left questioning their logic - Was it really worth saving someone else and taking yourself out of the equation?

Ponder this point deeply, and proceed accordingly. Knowledge is not the only thing which will help you triumph in the end, it will be a combination of several other factors, including a whole lot of luck and brains.

I was up 50 bucks but my brother wanted to leave the casino we were at and go to another one cause our table was boring and he was down money. BIG mistake.

Unlucky. But that's just gambling. The way I work on slot machines in Arcades or even penny pushers (Only the 10p ones. The 2p ones are just pointless), once I've got 50% more than I started off with, I try one more time, and if I win, I repeat until I lose, when I just walk away. And since it IS an individual challenge...It may remind someone that some of their OWN knowledgeable members could be a threat eventually...It may cause some to decide whether some of their own team members are more valuable dead or alive at this time.

I mean, I wouldn't do it...And I wouldn't have the chance anyway (I know I messed up :p)...I'm just pointing out a strategy...I have a tendency to consider things like that...possible outcomes, methods, etcetera...It makes it even more interesting for me...And it's already quite awesome.

If one person fails to fire, every hunter gets shot. If you have enough to cover your ass, the guards may take out more than you could.

A hunter can shoot one person

But, if he fails to shoot...ALL of the hunters get hit...Many could die

But you overlook one major thing too, my dear...there are at least EIGHT hunters right now, from the look at the scoreboard.

Secondly, he/she might just look out for himself / herself and make the most of such a situation...instead of not firing / firing a hunter and putting his own ass at risk.

He / She might get some Hunters out by not firing, but HE / SHE HIMSELF LOSES HEALTH PACKS AND / OR HIS / HER "FIT" STATUS!

Consider it...for it is an individual challenge. Why would they not fire? ;)

FIRST UPDATE


Good morning contestants...I have in my possession ALL but TWO of the entries at the moment. The deadline expires in a little over 3 and a quarter hours, so I suggest to those two contestants - better hurry with your entries.

I can tell that this time around, it is going to be a MIGHTY interesting Round 4 in The Hunting Season Zone.

In other developments, Doc Faustus has been given treatment for his very deep injuries, and remains in a very grave condition. We are still not sure if he can recover from those rather brutal stab wounds.

I am here to address The Monsters - Well, looks like your run with bad luck continues, Monsters...



And I am very sorry to report this...

...is DEAD.




We did our best in trying to save him, but he was stabbed way too many times and had lost a lot of blood, plus those deep gashes just couldn't heal in time.

A very brave person, he fought it out till the last. Yet his name is immortalised in death as well.

Since this was an individual challenge, there were quite a few which caused some confusion. Let me clarify one thing, you were supposed to name the movie in which the said item / stuff / personality was prominently shown. Some of you went for background music, others sent me a general answer to a specific question...both of those missed the mark.

I now release ALL the Mad Killers, 2 Monsters and 6 Chainsaws into The Hunting Season Zone.

Eight hunters who scored the perfect 10 in Challenge #4 - Cactus, Despare, VampiricClown, FerretChucker, Urgeok2, Fortunato, Elvis Christ and The Mothman - are hereby given a ROCKET LAUNCHER each.

Each one of those carries ONE SINGLE rocket.

You may choose your recipient of the rockets, regardless of group ethnicity. Remember, you can inflict some serious damage in this Round of hunting, because an impact from a rocket is equivalent to 5 bullets worth damage!!

(Which means, send me a PM regarding which contestant is the recipient of your fired rocket)

Also, be mindful, you CAN NOT CHOOSE ANOTHER HUNTER TO BE THE RECIPIENT OF YOUR ROCKET!! If you do so, the launcher will lock up and not fire, and you will face the penalty of not firing your rocket.

Also, failure to fire even a single rocket launcher will mean ALL EIGHT OF YOU will be shot SIX TIMES by the snipers in the watchtowers!
