What is the Best Horror Movie?

What is your Favorite Horror Movie?

Best Horror Movie
http://rankthese.com/What-is-the-Best-Horror-Movie.aspx

I believe almost all of these are post-1970.
"The Shining" currently leads - will horror afficionados stand for this?
Until now, most voters in this poll are from the public at large. I'm interested in what true horror fans think. Check it out if you can spare 30 sec.

Thanks!

Umm...No Nosferatu...No Evil Deads...No Fulci, Argento, Bava or Lenzi...No Foreign Titles...

I'm sorry, but that's pretty lame...

Are they polling 10 year-olds?

Heh...I just added Nosferatu

My rating was based on the film with the biggest impact on me rather than impact on film in general. If I was considering impact on film in general, I'd probably go with Jaws.

Funny how people are more frightened of being eaten by humans (or zombies) than by animals.
