Wow that's actually one of my LEAST favorite movies. What did you like about it?

It had kind of an artsy feel to it that I loved, the long winded scene where Otis shoots the cop in the back of head but it takes 2 minutes of slowing zooming out was beautiful. I love to really root for the bad guys too. It was just fun beginning to end. They did funny but in a way that almost made you feel guilty for laughing.

I thought it was just random torture scenes without a coherent plot.

The plot was basic slasher, which is really all that's needed for a good horror movie. Teens get stuck in a house with a murderous family. Family kills teens.

There was much more plot in the second one, but I mean for serious, sometimes you just need to see people die in grotesque ways.

That really doesn't do it for me.

LOL! That's too funny. I like your honesty Jake. It's like when someone looks through Fangora mag just for the pictures.

I mean to be honest and all. Lol. I love low budget B horror, not because of the acting but because of the over the top gore. After a stressful day at work busting my ass I just want to sit and watch someones head pop without having to decipher what it means.

I mean in "The evolution of scary" the first one and one of the most iconic horror films ever made had a plot you could jot down on one side of a restaurant napkin. We have a primal want to be able to just dissolve into a movie without having to really comprehend it.

I didn't make the picture. If I did, ANOES would replace that, but that's beside the point. There are a bunch of movies I like with a thin plot. High Tension and The Strangers being good examples, but if a movie ONLY has torture in it without anything else to like, then I probably won't like that movie. That's just me I guess.
