Is this one of your twisted little jokes? I can't imagine you've never seen a classic like In Cold Blood. Anyway, I guess it doesn't really count as their intent was to rob the family...

Are you talking about the 1965 film? Wouldn't it be the opposite of a home invasion film?

No I have never got around to seeing it..

I think he's talking about the 2009 film the Collector. I do love the 1965 film (and more so the book it was based on).

You should definitely see In Cold Blood- a starkly brutal film that made Robert Blake a star.

I would guess he's talking about the 09' flick. Noting really special but it put an interesting spin on the premise.

It's still banned? Crazy. I can see one scene that I won't spoil getting it into a bit of hot water but mostly it's harmless.

Perhaps I'm a bit of a bastard but I found the racist dialogue really funny. He comes up with some quite inventive side splitting stuff. I can see it really offending people but for me it just made a really effective OTT character. Almost a comic book styled villain and one of the more memorable ones in the world of blaxploitation (although Fight For Your Life isn't perhaps solely a blaxploitation flick). You'll be cheering on his demise as the film progresses. Great stuff. It's essential viewing and one of my all time favourite flicks. You should try and import it from Blue Underground or grab it off a torrent.

Not really in the business of importing or torrenting...a bit on the shady side. I don't judge others for doing it, it's just not my thing.

Besides, I like nice solid official hard copies (regional DVDs, Blu Rays and the like)

How's importing a DVD shady? Blue Underground's stuff is all official and are really well put together definitive editions of some of these trashier classics.
