Intriguing. I'll probably give it a whirl.

Only seen 3 films from that list.

Thesis (1996): Good one.

Lost Highway (1997): I, personally hate this one.

Tell Me Something (1999): Don't know why but totally forget about it's story. Need to see it again.

Was The Ghost and the Darkness the movie about the lion in Africa set in colonial times? If so, I'd say you could take a look at it, probably mid week when the tv is poor. If I've got the wrong movie, would somebody mind telling me what I'm talking about please?:)

Nightwatch was a disapponitment and I avoided the sequal!

Sounds like The Ghost And The Darkness.

You're not stupid, and probably paid decent enough attention... it's David Lynch, nuff' said haha.

TOTALLY agree - I found it a bit overwrought and overrated. Then again, I know a lot of people who liked this movie, so it can't hurt to check it out.

Lost Highway - Eh. So I actually really like David Lynch, but I did not like this one. Just found it one of his more self-indulgent pieces (which is odd because I absolutely LOVED Muholland Drive - If you haven't seen that one, give it a whirl).

Matinee - Not horror in the least, but I remember enjoying it when it came out. It was funny and a good period piece.

Seance is low-budget awfulness - We started watching it and got maybe two minutes through? It's more of a film student project (a BAD one) than an enjoyable movie. Though my boyfriend pronounces it "sheence," which makes me giggle. Heh.

Thank you Chrono. It seems like Lost Highway got a pretty negative reception so I'll probably skip it. David Lynch films are a coin toss for me; I enjoyed Mulholland Drive and Blue Velvet, but I still can't make up my mind about Eraserhead. The first time I watched it, I hated it. After a second viewing I liked it a lot more, but still find the film disturbing and impossible to follow.
