Hidden Gems?? The 1990s

Films from the 1990s that I haven't seen, that didn't make the HDC lists, that have an IMDB rating of 6.5 or higher. Any great classics in here?

Seance (1999)
Charisma (1999)
Nightwatch (1994)
Thesis (1996)
The Resurrected (1992)
Tell Me Something (1999)
Fudoh: The New Generation (1996)
Matinee (1993)
Sombre (1998)
The Prophecy (1995)
Poison (1991)
The Death King (1990)
301, 302 (1995)
Singapore Sling (1990)
Angel Dust (1994)
Of Freaks And Men (1998)
Felidae (1994)
The Reflecting Skin (1990)
Goodbye 20th Century (1998)
Lost Highway (1997)
The Ghost And The Darkness (1996)

Any you're familiar with, like or hate, I'd like to hear about.

Mattinee is a fun little comedy starring John Goodman as a character based on William Castle.

That's all I've got...

I've heard of it, but never saw it.

I have the whole Prophecy series, Christopher Walken is great in those, they aren't "great" but they're worth looking into. Lost Highway is pretty cool too, but it's David Lynch, so of course viewers are usually split on that... I still own the soundtrack. The Ghost and the Darkness was also a great little flick and I suggest watching that one.

Thank you Despare. I can't believe I haven't seen any of these.:( They all look cool, although I think The Ghost And The Darkness might have been unfairly clobbered for some reason, and that might have put me off at the time.

Man - I think i was drunk for the 90s as I either missed most of these or can't remember em..

Nightwatch (1994) _ thought this was ok but lots of people loved it..

Thesis (1996) - Liked this a lot but I love stuff about the snuff movie urban legend - way more intelligent than most.

The Resurrected (1992) - Really liked this - I love crap thats losely based on Lovecraft..Dan O'Bannon directed it too.

Matinee (1993) - Really enjoyable cold war comedy.

The Prophecy (1995) - Flawed Masterpiece (sorta) - I love this flick if only to watch Christopher Walken chew up the scenery. I can listen to him call humans 'talking monkeys' all day long...Viggo Mortensen is great too...

Singapore Sling (1990) - Saw this in the cinema and lots of people walked out. I liked it. It does have vomit sex in it. I guess thats a plus.

The Reflecting Skin (1990) - Excellent, twisted coming of age film..A bit arty for some..

Lost Highway (1997) - I'm either stupid or didn't pay much attention but this totally lost me half way through. But what i did see i enjoyed.

The Ghost And The Darkness (1996) - I thought this was drek but I may give it a watch again.

Thank you Ferox. I really like the look of these movies.

Singapore Sling - hm. What in God's name is vomit sex? Never mind, I probably don't want to know. I wonder if this film makes the forced enema film look tame?
