Romeros post 2000 films
Final Destination 3&4
Universal Soldier - Regeneration
Critters 3&4
AVP movies
Every second "Broken Lizard" film post Super Troopers.

Those are what come immediately to mind.
I can't argue with any of those (except Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects), but my expectations were pretty low for most of them so I didn't feel TOO disappointed.

Tough to list. I always find something good even in a bad movie.

Hmm...The Village, Lady in the Water...Shyamalan's post-Unbreakable efforts maybe?

Boll KG Productions...

Incoherent and disjointed indies.

3 of my favorites.

WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILERS

Exorcism Of Emily Rose just wasn't scary.

American Psycho had one of those really annoying twists that just ruined the entire film.

I almost liked Tale Of Two Sisters, but the twist in that just left me disappointed (and I think they might have cheated just a little bit).

I really like M. Night Shyamalan; Signs was my personal favorite. I can certainly understand why people don't like his films though; I could see the shocking twist coming a mile away in The Sixth Sense, The Happening had a really weak ending (it was really good up until they reached Mrs. Jones' farmhouse and then it just ground to a halt). I enjoyed Unbreakable and Lady In The Water (I don't know why people hated Lady In The Water so much).

Then there's The Village. Not only could I see the shocking twist coming a mile away, but also there were no monsters (except a simpering Adrian Brody). It brings to mind something Bart Simpson said:"You know what would have been scarier than nothing? Anything!"

I think a lot of the problems with Shamalamadingdongs films is that at least until the point of signs or the village or whichever of those came out last, they all followed the same structure - At that point I stopped watching, I think there's been a couple since?
Though yeah personally I only really liked Unbreakable our of all his films, kind of wish he'd went ahead with his apparently planned remainder of the "trilogy".

Signs, The Happening, and Lady In The Water didn't have any "shocking twist".

If he continued on with the extremely obvious twist endings, I think I would have given up watching his films.

Personally that's what drew me away from them...didn't mind signs but did not find it a thing of greatness...and next there was something about a chick in a pool that starred that fucker I hate...the whole film just looked completely unappealing...the happening looks "ok" but yeah I just don't think I'm in a rush to see anything more he's come out with.

Can't say I blame you; I just stubbornly hold on to the idea that he's got a great movie left in him.
