You enjoy coloring? I've seen a lot about that lately. I think its great. Heck I enjoy coloring with my grandkids. Maybe its time to move it up a level!

Such as Splinter from TMNT. He's cool.

eeeeeeek , sorry about the back-to-back.

Most people assume I'm male by appearance. I'm not feminine in the least. I don't think gender's a problem so much as social anxiety is.

I have two circles. Horror fans circle and fellow artists circle. For the second coloring is quite a money maker. It doesn't seem childish or like such a sudden trend to me. Even for those who aren't professional it's great for therapy as a stress reliever.

yes i am. i'm looking for more page options. like i'd like houses, and more animals. i have one book that has some animals, and garden scenes in it right now. i also have to get more colored pencils.
while babysitting i was coloring in kids books i had, but i do like the 'adult' books better. i'll have to post what i've done so far. maybe we can share ideas, finished works, and such?
the only horror themed adult pages i've found are sugar skulls, but for relaxation i kind of prefer the gardens, animals, and such.

i agree, i don't think anyone really wants snow just yet. in my part of ohio we've gotten a bit of rain, but it's supposed to get colder. :(
my circle of people varies. but we all kind of like the same things. my bestie she knows i like horror, she's not as much of a horror fan, but still supports me liking it. she likes it here and there.
coloring isn't childish, i know books for adults have been around for a while, just the trend has started. i think that's why i stuck with 'kid' books for a while, till i could find something i liked better. i'm no professional by any means, so i just sit and color while watching netflix. :D

I find coloring(now mind you, nothing more than kids books so far) quite relaxing but it also makes me focus and gives me side by side time with my grandkids. We don't talk but we're all doing the same thing and its pretty peaceful.

I love to color. It's meditative in a sense. Gives me a chance to express myself artistically just a bit without the expectations I have for myself when creating written work or music. If I'm working on a story or script, or making some music for soundtrack or score, I'm demanding of myself. Coloring gives me a chance to make something and not place goals. It's relaxing and fun to do when I'm hanging out with friends. With that said, we only color maybe 7 or 8 times a year, but when we do , I always enjoy the coloring, the conversation and the result.

Tip: Muppet coloring books are ahhhmazing. I love that Kermit, Animal, Sweetums and the rest can be colored any hue and still look perfect. Muppet coloring books are the reason there's six zillion crayon colors now. I'm absolutely sure of this theory!

I'm the exact opposite. Coloring stresses me out, or at least it used to. I should specify further and say painting. I had a painting class one year and it just- I was ready to pull my hair out getting every detail just right. x_x

Lately though as with your drawing I've let myself go and just have fun with them. Make fun textures and shading styles and colors with different mediums. I'm always learning a new trick and I love it. I'm hoping to settle down and do some coloring myself the next two days that I have off.
