It is night inside the Zone. A careful scan reveals that - as many as SEVEN Phantoms have used their machetes already!

Add that to FIVE Zombie Warriors, and it makes a total of 12 members who have done their deeds and are now resting near the closed gate of the Hunting Zone.

The deadline is still a little over 22 hours to go. Will there be any SnD members left at the end?

We shall find out soon.

THE FIRST HUNTING ZONE OUTING OF HDC BATTLE ROYALE III


As soon as the Zone's doors closed behind them, the leaders of both teams - Phantoms & Zombie Warriors - tried to rally their teams together. But some of them in both teams, full of joy and excitement holding their machetes, yelled loud war-cries and dispersed immediately, searching for the SnDs to hunt down. Those who stayed back, were given specific targets and instructions. All of them then vanished into several parts of the Zone.

Ferretchucker ran forward, holding his machete in absolute glee. A wide, sadistic grin on his lips, he was ready to hack through anyone who came in his way. But someone specific was already in his mind. As soon as he reached some yew bushes, he slowed down and stopped, quietly staring in front.

Rayne was slouched behind a huge boulder, her back to him.

Ferret moved noiselessly forward, checking his left and right. Nobody else was in sight. He reached close to Rayne, who was rapidly scanning the trees in front of her with fervent anticipation. Ferret licked his lips. He tried to resist but couldn't help himself.

"PEEKABOO!" he yelled.

Rayne gave a violent start. Ferret lifted his machete high and brought it down. Rayne had recovered in an instant and kicked hard from behind at Ferret's leg. Ferret lost his balance, just as his machete came down.

"Ooooffffffffffffffffff!" Ferret went down.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Rayne howled loudly. The machete had sliced into her back and fell on the floor with a soft thud, breaking into two almost instantly. A blob of blood formed on the cut almost instantly, and started rolling down her back. Rayne fought back tears of pain as she grabbed at one of her HPs to patch herself up. Ferret yelped, holding his right knee. Rayne stood up slowly, bleeding, and stumbled forward into the trees.


MissMacabre crouched down, staring intently at her target in the distance. She gripped her machete tightly and started to slowly move forward, avoiding the dry leaves and grass on the ground and sticking to the bare patches. She soon reached near the tree at the bent-over figure, shaking fearfully. She set her lips firmly, and lifted her machete high.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The figure rolled forward with a loud cry, more in agonising instant pain than surprise. MissM watched her machete break into two and the blade thud down on the ground, the handle still in her grip. She looked up back at her target.

Michelle had a HP in hand, silent tears rolling down her cheeks as she glared back at MissM.


Zero looked around, but could make out nothing between the trees. He looked at another tree close to him, thought of something, and climbed up. As soon as he reached some branches in the middle, he thought he caught a glimpse of shining metal in the distance towards the right. He peered.

A howl of pain hit his ears and they twitched. He saw a figure in the distance approach towards his direction in a very unsteady walk, trying to hog the trees for cover. Zero waited.

Soon, the figure reached close to his tree. Zero focused and slowly grinned.

It was Rayne!

Zero waited till she was the nearest to his tree, then jumped down. Rayne was aware for only an instant of something above her, and swayed to her right. Zero's machete came heavily down on her shoulder.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Zero whooped in glee. Rayne grunted and threw herself forward, rolling once into the ground. Her right shoulder looked an angry red, the huge cut throwing up a big spray of her blood out. Zero looked at her and smiled wickedly.

"That was with love," he quipped.

Rayne hissed at him, reaching for a HP. She lifted herself up somehow and stumbled away.


Friday13thFan broke through the bushes into the clearing, and looked around. He saw nothing in front of him.

"Over here," a voice whispered into his ears.

F13F gave an unexpected start, and looked around at the trees and bushes nearby.

"Over here," the silent voice urged again.

F13F deduced that the sound was coming from the bushes on his left. Slowly he crept forward, gripping his machete tightly, ready for any sort of tricks. He was lifting his machete up when a hand wrapped around his face and clamped on his mouth.

"Shhh...!" the voice whispered from behind him. F13F strained his neck to his right and looked behind him.

It was Roshiq!

"See that? Over there. The bastard's real," Roshiq looked straight in front and nodded.

F13F tried to follow Roshiq's vision but couldn't make out anything first. Roshiq took off his hand from F13F's mouth and pointed to where he was seeing. F13F looked again.

Out between the trees, on one of the branches, a figure lay! It was gripping the branch tightly, the head darting around and stealing quick glances in every direction.

"I see you," Roshiq declared silently and determinedly.

"I see it," F13F stared wide-eyed. "Yeah, I see it," he whispered again. "Look Roshiq, between us we can nail whoever it is. You go ahead from the right and try to shake down the tree. I ll flank from the left and approach from the back. As soon as the bastard falls down, we nail him."

"I got a score to settle," Roshiq breaths grimly.

"We both got scores to settle," F13F looks equally grim.

Roshiq moved out and proceeded towards the right. F13F moved towards the left and circled around till he reached the backside of the tree on which the figure lay. Almost immediately, the tree shook violently once.

"What the-?!" a voice yelled from above, before a loud thud sounded just in front of him.

F13F wasted no time in jumping forward. He and Roshiq brought down their machetes on the surprised figure in almost the exact moment. The figure yelled.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Both machetes hit the body together. Roshiq's machete hacked through the figure's right thigh, while F13F's machete buried itself fully on his back. Two loud cracks indicated both machetes had broken off as soon as they hit their targets. Bwind moaned loudly and screamed again, this time more in extreme pain than anything else.

The machetes had ripped through his flesh mercilessly. The meat on Bwind's leg hung loosely as it turned red and huge rivers of blood started gushing out of it. His back became crimson in an instant as he lay, screaming. Roshiq and F13F stood over him on either side, silently surveying the damage they had done. Bwind's brains started to tick, fighting back the stinging pain. His hand reached for his HPs.

Roshiq looked up at F13F.

"Sayyy, you aren't a Phantom are you?"

A flock of birds flew out from the top of the trees, chirping wildly. Bwind stumbled through them, feet swishing over the grass. He was breathing heavily, his wounds dripping blood continuously from between the patches applied on them. He stopped and leaned on a tree near him to catch his breath, fighting back the spasms of pain ringing through his body.

A shadow fell across him. Bwind froze and lifted his head around apprehensively.

Demon Seed glared back at him angrily, and lifted his machete. Bwind's hand slipped from the tree he was leaning on, and he fell to the ground wide-eyed in extreme surprise and dread.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

DS's machete sliced straight through his face, cutting through his cheek!

Bwind yelped and clutched the left side of his face. His cheek was neatly sliced into two, and long trails of blood started oozing through it into his hand through the gaps of his fingers.

"Guess we won't be smack-talking too much now, eh?" DS sneered.

Bwind grabbed at his HPs. His left cheek now had a long cut stretching from his lips to almost his left ear!


Straker heard some yells coming from behind, where the trees ended. He knew someone was in trouble, which meant that someone's strikers were near too. He got up from the place he was crouching at, and started running in the opposite direction. He stole a quick glance backwards, and at that exact moment, he tripped over something and went down in a heap on the ground.

"Going somewhere?" a voice boomed in his ears.

Startled out of his wits, Straker whirled. The gleam of the wicked blade of the machete shone in the sunlight once, before it came down directly on his chest.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The machete went crunching through Straker's ribcage, luckily missing his heart and lungs narrowly. Straker coughed and moaned loudly, the huge cut vomiting a big gush of blood all over him. Straker grabbed at his HPs and looked at his attacker.

Doc Faustus smiled down at him, throwing the broken handle away.


The Return knew something was wrong in the scene in front of him. Some THING looked out of picture, and he was straining to perceive what it was. Then suddenly, he realised and noticed, long and hard.

The boulder in front of him some distance away, was moving!

He rapidly made big strides towards it, machete ready to swing. As he neared it, he saw to his surprise that it wasn't a boulder at all. The guy had covered his head with his parka and was slowly moving forward, giving that impression.

Clever, but not clever enough, Return thought.

He reached the moving figure and struck right in between the shoulder blades hard.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The figure went down and a muffled howl came out of his jacket. Return's machete immediately broke into two, and he threw the handle away. He reached forward, and pulled the parka back.

GroundZero2424 looked back at him with dismay and terror, feeling his open bleeding wound with one hand. Return leaned back and smiled.

"ARRRRRRRRRR!" he teased, sticking his tongue out at Groundzero, who was reaching for his HPs.

Rayne stopped and looked around. She had wandered into unfamiliar territory filled with rocks and bushes, without a tree in sight. Suddenly she realised she was in full view of anyone within a yard of her on all sides. She swooped down and lay on the floor, wincing with the raw pain shooting up from her severed nerves of the two wounds of her body.

A soft rustle on her right made her whirl towards that direction. Despare was running towards her now, arm outstretched with the machete lifted high. Rayne screamed and turned around to get up. But Despare was onto her in a flash. Grabbing her by the neck from behind, he brought down the machete heavily straight on the top of her head!

Rayne gathered some astonishing strength at the last moment, and swerved out of Despare's grip.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The blow caught her squarely on her arm, almost severing it off her body. The ugly scar reddened in an instant, and blood rained out of it in short bursts. Rayne grunted and screamed again, as Despare dropped the now-broken machete and leaned back silently. Rayne looked at him fighting back tears, as she reached for her HPs. Despare stared back, with hard and cold eyes.


Rayne crawled through the short bushes and stopped. Despare's receding figure faded in the distance. She figured that nobody would immediately chance upon her after her very recent attack, and took some seconds out to get her breath back and think clearly. Her brain was on fire, with spasms of pain shooting all over her body. She looked at the small ravine ahead with hope, and knew it would be a good hiding spot for her. She began to crawl forward again.

Unfortunately for Rayne, her screams had attracted another hunter. Jenna26 broke through the bushes on her right, and stared directly at the wounded and bleeding Rayne. She knew she wouldn't have a better chance. Uttering a loud cry, she ran forward with her machete held high.

Rayne shrieked and turned. The sight of Jenna running towards her to attack instantly froze her up. She tried to get up to run, but one of her legs failed her and she crumpled down again. Jenna came running beside her and struck.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The machete tore through Rayne's right side, cutting it into two. A long, deep gash on her side started to turn bright crimson, as a huge squirt of blood sprayed out of it into the ground. Rayne groaned and turned over, clutching her side. Her other hand frantically reached for her HPs, as Jenna looked on. Her eyes were lit up wildly, a savage light in them disappearing slowly.


He looked on quietly at the two attacks on the helpless prey. First Despare, then Jenna. He didn't feel good about doing his deed when the target was down and unarmed, but he knew he wouldn't have a better chance than this. Good, he thought, she is headed right towards me. Rayne had patched herself up the best she could and was slowly crawling towards the small green ravine, unaware of his presence in it. Silent tears ran down her cheeks, and big spasms of pain ran through her body. Somehow she reached the first bush near the ravine. He saw her. She saw him. She screamed.

He jumped at her, and struck.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The blow caught Rayne squarely on the left side of her neck. Luckily, she had enough flesh and bone to withstand the blow and was left with only a big cut. It started to spray blood almost instantly, as Rayne clutched at it wildly.

Shriek Of The Mutilated took a step back, and looked at her. A small gist of a smile broke his face for a second, then it became stone-hard again.



Fiend Skull was in a dilemma. He tried to ask his team leader who to target, but she was busy giving instructions to others. Soon, they all had dispersed and he was on his own. It was his first time inside the Zone, and the fading light and the forest made him very apprehensive. He clutched his machete tightly and looked around.

A man was crouched near the gate, trying to avoid his gaze!

Fiend peered at him, trying to identify who it was. As soon as he realised the identity of that person, he licked his lips and started running towards him.

The man yelled once and started running away from Fiend!

Fiend was quicker though. He sidetracked his enemy and soon was onto him from behind. A huge lunging football tackle later, both were sprawled on the ground. Fiend didn't waste any time and brought the machete down.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The machete tore into the thigh of the man, who screamed loudly in pain and rolled over. Blood started dripping out of his wound, as he grabbed at his HPs. Fiend got up and dropped the broken machete, and let out a long breath. My work is done, he thought.

The Krell was moaning and twisting below him, bleeding profusely as a hand pulled a HP to reach his wound.

She looked at her and signaled her to be quiet. She giggled inaudibly and nodded. Both of them peered over the bushes at the sight in front of them.

Bwind was sighing quietly. He had propped himself up near the tree he was attacked, and was soaking in the healing effects of the 2 HPs patched on his wounds. He was half-awake, and totally oblivious of the two pairs of eyes staring him down from the distance.

She motioned to her to go to the left. She smiled, half-mad in her blood-thirst, and moved left. She herself moved slowly towards the right.

Both of them moved very quietly together, and met up again at the same exact moment behind the tree where Bwind lay. She winked at her. She winked back.

Both of them slowly stood up, and were standing on either side of Bwind in an instant. Bwind had his eyes closed, his breathing slow and labored.

"Hi!"

Bwind's eyes opened in a flash. The surprise turned to immediate terror inside them. They smiled at him together, and their machete-holding hands came down aimed straight at his neck!

Bwind yelled and tried to get up. The blows hit him on the chest and the tummy.

Two huge gaps immediately formed on them, pink at first which turned crimson in an instant. Blood spurted out from both of the cuts in long bursts, spraying the girls. They shrieked in delight, and laughed maniacally at the warmth of it. The girl on the left licked her lips, licking on Bwind's blood.

Bwind slumped down heavily, a long groan escaping his lips. A slow arm reached for his HPs, as the girls dropped their now-broken machetes.

The girl on the left looked up at Chronogrl and smiled. Chrono smiled back at Saytan, their thirst for blood quenched for now. Saytan looked at Bwind reaching for his HPs, and leaned forward.

"There's plenty more where those came from, darling. Mind your bloody stubs." Her voice was teasing and surprisingly delightful.

Bwind screamed. Both girls giggled loudly together.


FreddyMyers thought he heard something rustling on the bushes on his right. He knew he was near someone. But was it a target or a hunter, he was not sure. He stopped moving and lay down in an instant, turning to his right. The legs moving towards him stopped too. Freddy cursed silently, knowing that some sound he had made had given his position away. The legs stayed where they were, and Freddy crouched forward. He craned his neck to see who it was.

Freak had stopped moving, and was looking directly ahead with alarm. Freddy saw his chance, and lunged forward. He swung hard without seeing.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The machete ripped through Freak's side, almost cutting him into two pieces. Freak gave out a loud shriek instinctively reaching for his side. The blood spurted out of it through the gaps of his fingers. Freak looked at it and gasped loudly. Freddy looked at him, delighted at the damage he had inflicted.


Dude Guadalupe heard a loud sound from somewhere near him. It was more like a sound of delight than a scream of pain, he deduced, as he moved towards the source. He saw the outline of a figure high-fiving himself into thin air pass him some distance on the right and recognised it as The Return. He's done his hunting, Dude thought. He kept moving forward.

Groundzero lay on the ground, moaning softly. His parka was loosely flying in the breeze. Dude walked over to him and stood there for an instant. Groundzero froze at the sight of him, then looked up at Dude.

"This is for my Cradle of Filth CDs!" Dude said softly, audible enough for Groundzero to hear him. Dude's arm rose up.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The blow caught Groundzero straight on his chest. Dude's hand was heavy, but Groundzero had luck on his side. The open cut started coughing out blood almost immediately, as Groundzero screamed. One hand of his reached for his HPs and he was barely conscious of patching one on his chest, before his lights went out.

He will remember that when he comes around, Dude thought and nodded. He turned and walked back towards the gates.

THE FIRST HUNTING ZONE OUTING OF HDC BATTLE ROYALE III

F13F wasted no time in jumping forward. He and Roshiq brought down their machetes on the surprised figure in almost the exact moment. The figure yelled.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Both machetes hit the body together. Roshiq's machete hacked through the figure's right thigh, while F13F's machete buried itself fully on his back. Two loud cracks indicated both machetes had broken off as soon as they hit their targets. Bwind moaned loudly and screamed again, this time more in extreme pain than anything else.

The machetes had ripped through his flesh mercilessly. The meat on Bwind's leg hung loosely as it turned red and huge rivers of blood started gushing out of it. His back became crimson in an instant as he lay, screaming. Roshiq and F13F stood over him on either side, silently surveying the damage they had done. Bwind's brains started to tick, fighting back the stinging pain.

Please check your Photobucket 'account settings'...Make sure that your account is set to PRIVATE...Photobucket used to default all new accounts to 'private' and you had to change it if you wanted it to be public...NOW, the default is PUBLIC and you have to change it if you want it to be private.

I recently began a new Photobucket, and just a few minutes ago I discovered that mine is PUBLIC even though I have been urging my teammates to make sure that theirs were private.

Also note, after you change it to 'private' you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom and click 'save', or it will still be 'public'...So, if you thought you had changed it to private, but you didn't scroll down and click 'save', You might want to take a look at it again.

The DEADLINE was UP around 55 minutes back!

The gates to the Zone were thrown open and the hunters marched back in triumphantly.

They were followed in by one ENTIRE hunted team who had escaped this Zone outing WITHOUT A SINGLE SCRATCH ON ANY OF THEM!

A long pause later, the other hunted team trooped in slowly, one by one. Two of them were carrying a makeshift stretcher of vines, leaves and branches between them, on which ONE team member lay quietly, breathing heavily and apparently unconscious. Two other members limped in behind them, some HP patches very apparent on their bodies.

Let's rewind the clock to earlier in the outing...to the very beginning...

They were followed in by one ENTIRE hunted team who had escaped this Zone outing WITHOUT A SINGLE SCRATCH ON ANY OF THEM!

We felt sorry for the poor things...They had already taken so much damage by their own hands :p

RESULTS OF THE HUNTING ZONE OUTING NUMBER FOUR


As soon as the SnD team strode inside the Zone, they gathered in a circle. Explicit instructions were given to each of them, and all of them nodded in approval.

Although 2 of them had other ideas.

Holding a huge sawed-off shotgun in one hand, and a big battle-axe in the other, the entire SnD team looked totally badass!

They soon dispersed on all sides, each with a target in mind.



MissMacabre peered out from the small cave she was hiding in. The forest around her was curiously quiet. She blinked in all directions but could make out nothing.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The shot took MissM completely by surprise. She was thrown back, the shell ripping into her chest and causing a small explosion on her body. Before she fell, the second shot thundered into her.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The shell tore through her side, ripping it open. By the time she hit the floor a fraction of a second later, she was bleeding fast. Fresh tears swelled into MissM's eyes and started rolling down as she uttered a small whimper of immense, searing pain. She grabbed at her HPs, just as the bushes in front of her parted and a huge figure lumbered towards her, one hand holding a shotgun whose barrels still oozed smoke and the other swinging an axe.

MissM looked up and shrieked, trying to shield herself by crawling back and turning around.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

The axe came down straight on her exposed back and crunched into her shoulderblades. MissM screamed out, and started sobbing uncontrollably, blinded by the immense pain her body's nerves threw at her braincells. The axe-blade broke into two and rolled out of her wound into the ground.

Groundzero2424 leaned over her and sneered.

"Miss me, baby?" he chuckled. MissM's hands reached for her HPs, as he took a step back, turned around and walked out slowly, his eyes glinting and a small smile on his lips.


GZ came out into the bushes, and nodded at the person in front of him. The other person smiled and walked up through where GZ had come from. GZ looked after them and then turned around, walking towards the gates and whistling a tune.


MissM had stopped crying. The HPs were doing their job and her bleeding had stopped for the moment. She was lying down quietly, soaking in the effects of the HPs. Rayne quietly gazed at her, her eyes narrowing slowly. She lifted her shotgun and aimed carefully.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The impact of the shotgun blast threw MissM back. The shell tore through her left thigh and left a huge, gaping wound which started throwing out blood almost immediately. She groaned loudly and tried to turn, but by then the other shot was on its way.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

MissM felt the shell thud into her body, ripping through her stomach. She closed her eyes and lay on the floor on her back, a weak hand reaching for her HPs backpack. Rayne walked out of the bushes confidently and strode straight to her in long strides.

"The head," Rayne whispered enigmatically as she lifted her axe high above her head. MissM opened her eyes briefly before closing them again in silent resignation.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

The axe ripped into MissM's right shoulder, almost severing it off her body. She merely sighed and moaned once, a small convulsion shaking her all over. The hands reached out instinctively at her HPs slowly, as Rayne looked on at the axe-blade disintegrate into two pieces. Her eyes were shining, a hidden fury inside them.

Bwind22 knew. He was nearby somewhere, he could feel it. His trained eyes scanned the sight in front of him. Boulders, grass and bushes everywhere. He lay low on his belly and waited.

He didn't wait for long. Almost 15 minutes later, the outline walked in from the right and went to the big boulder in front. It looked left and right, apparently checking the sight from behind the boulder in all directions. Satisfied, it clambered over the huge rock and disappeared behind it.

Bwind instantly sprung up and quickly followed the receding outline. He jumped to the left of the boulder and straight at his target. Roshiq looked at him with wide, frightened eyes.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The blast threw Rosh behind, ripping through his groin area. It opened up a huge, bleeding wound on the inner part of his right thigh, VERY narrowly missing his privates. Shit!, Bwind thought. Roshiq turned, clutching his wound tightly.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The second shot threw Rosh off-balance, and he went sprawling onto the rocky floor in front of him. The shell made a big hole on his butt which immediately coughed up a lot of fresh blood.

"We don't feel so clever now, huh? Do we?" Bwind sneered.

He took a couple steps forward and lifted his axe. Roshiq turned again, reaching for his HPs. The sight in front of him brought fresh terror into his eyes.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!" Roshiq screamed.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Bwind's axe swiped across Roshiq's face! It left a deep, gashing cut across his face, stretching from above his left eyebrow down to the right side of his chin. The long cut swelled and bobbed for an instant, before a small spray of blood sprayed out of it.

"Look into the mirror again, and think of me," Bwind grinned, the malice receding from his eyes.

The axe-blade broke into two and Bwind dropped it. Roshiq touched the cut on his face and winced with closed eyes. His hands went around at his HPs.


Doc Faustus emerged from behind the tree and looked in front of him. He was smart enough to keep moving, knowing fully well that he would be a sitting duck if he chose to stay at a particular place to hide. A swish in the air diverted his attention for an instant.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

The axe thudded straight into Doc's chest and he reeled back for a couple of steps, backing into the tree! Straker looked and smiled, then walked forward. The axe-blade broke into two and it fell down heavily into the ground, as blood dripped out from Doc's chest.

"Payback time, Doc," Straker teased, feeling the dull ache on his chest where Doc had cut it with a machete in the previous hunt.

MissM looked at the scene in front of her - Straker standing near Doc with a grin, and Doc breathing and bleeding heavily. She tried to move forward as noiselessly as possible, but her body was on fire. She winced as her leg brushed on a dry twig, snapping it loudly.

Straker whirled towards her. As soon as his sights were set on her, he lifted his shotgun. MissM shrieked and tried to make a dash for the nearest tree. Her legs however, buckled and gave up from under her.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

Straker emptied both the chambers of his shotgun simultaneously. Both shells ripped into MissM's right side and she was thrown on her left, thudding on the ground and yelling loudly. Straker lowered his shotgun, satisfied. MissM's eyes began to roll over, but she managed to hold her consciousness together and grabbed another couple of HPs from her backpack.

MissM lay heaving. Short, numbered breaths escaped her mouth. Her whole body was on fire, spasming very gently with the spurts of blood oozing out of her wounds. She knew she couldn't take a lot of further damage. Out here under the small tree near the cave, she was a sitting duck. I have to move, the thought blazed through her mind and she started to slowly crawl forward.

A clump of closely-grown trees stood before her. She moved forward ever so slowly towards them, biting her lip to fight the pain off.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The shotgun shell ripped through her right side, spraying her black jacket with more blood. MissM sighed and turned, eyes half-open and delirious.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

This shot blasted right into her left thigh, ripping the flesh out from her bone. Freak looked at her from over the barrels of his empty smoking shotgun, dropped it, and walked forward remorselessly, axe in hand. MissM tried to crawl back, but Freak was onto her quickly.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

The axe stung into MissM like a huge bee. It thudded right into her left shoulder and struck at her shoulder bone, miraculously not severing it. She threw her head back and groaned, and Freak looked at her once, long and hard. He then looked back and nodded once, backing away slowly from MissM.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The shotgun blast ripped through her lower back, exploding into the bare side on it. An ugly, gaping black wound was suddenly created on her flawless skin, which welled up and almost immediately sprayed blood out. MissM lifted her head for an instant, then it fell back and she was whimpering and groaning.

Michelle stood there, smiling at her. She aimed at her again, and pulled the trigger, a loud evil cackle resonating out from her lips.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The shot caught MissM on her chest, blasting a hole right through it. MissM's head fell backwards, her eyes seeing bright red stars everywhere. Michelle walked over to her, dropping the now-empty shotgun and transferring her axe into her right hand. She was onto MissM in a flash. MissM lay groaning and bleeding, a weak hand slowly reaching for her HPs purely by instinct. Michelle lifted her right leg and brought down her heavy, shining stiletto heel of her hunting boot straight at her chest wound. She ground it savagely on the fresh wound with all her might, shrieking once in absolute delight. MissM screamed and groaned, grabbing at Michelle's leg weakly.

The worst part was yet to come.

Michelle's cruel game of brutality was not done. She looked wild and maniacal. Her eyes swung towards MissM's outstretched right hand, and thoughts of MissM swinging the machete at her flashed through her mind. She leaned down and grabbed MissM's right hand in one sweeping motion, and lifted her axe high. MissM's eyes opened wide in sheer terror for one instant, and a loud whimper escaped her lips.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

The axe swung right through MissM's right shoulder, cutting off her right arm from the rest of her body!!

MissM's screams filled the afternoon air and did not stop. Her right shoulder sprayed blood out in long, big spurts from the severed wound. Michelle held MissM's right arm for an instant, before dropping it right on MissM's chest. She let go of the broken axe, and bent over at MissM's face with gnashed teeth and wide, malice-filled eyes.

"Next time, think of this before you attack me, b****!" Michelle roared at MissM's face.

"She's over there, in those trees," Freak said. He was shaking slightly, apparently taken aback by the intense savagery he had just witnessed.

He noticed this. So Michelle has had her revenge, he thought and put a hand on Freak's shoulder. Freak looked back at him, and he nodded towards the direction of the gates. Freak shrugged and walked forward, and he gripped his shotgun and axe tightly and walked towards where Freak had pointed.

Zero looked at him as he passed by the tree where Zero had climbed up. GreenDemon felt someone's breathing above him, and stopped long enough to take a long peek at the red-headed monkey man. Zero froze. GreenDemon shook his head at him, and continued walking forward. Zero had held his breath, and let it out slowly in a relief as he watched the receding figure of GreenDemon in the distance.

MissM's screams had not stopped this time. Her mouth was still opening, but no sounds came out of it except long, labored whimpers. The ugly crimson stump on her shoulder was still spurting out blood by the streams. Her mind was getting overclouded by darkness and her mind was screaming messages at her body.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The shotgun blast turned her over to her right, the severed right stump burying into the ground. MissM's right hand fell down near her and she coughed up blood, her mind numbing with the jolts of pain her nerves were throwing at it.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The other shell thudded straight into her back again, catching her right between her shoulderblades. She was a sticky and bloody mess by now, HPs covering some of the wounds on her like the blessings of an angry red God to a severely wounded angel.

GreenDemon dropped the shotgun and came forward, clutching the axe tightly. The messy body lying in front of him made him feel no remorse or pity, however. He lifted his axe high and brought it down right at MissM's left side.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

The wicked axe blade ripped into MissM's side, opening up her tummy so far that her guts were visible. MissM's mind was in complete, pain-numbing darkness by now, and she was slowly slipping under.

Your game is over, GreenDemon thought quietly, looking at the last HP remaining inside MissM's backpack. One more attack remains, and that should finish you up. Those were his last thoughts as he trodded back towards the gates.

A huge, bloody and gooey mess of a human being lay on the ground where once someone called MissMacabre, of the Raging Phantoms, once laid.

Barely alive, still breathing, unconscious.


Nightmare Of Death was in a fix. She was clearly given instructions on whom to hunt down, but her conflicting loyalties told her otherwise. She thought it all over, long and hard, and finally came to a decision. She walked towards the right, instead of going north to where her instructed target lay.

She quickly came to a stop. Someone was looking straight at her from the trees in front! Those big, scared eyes belonged to Demon Seed!

As soon as NOD and he exchanged looks, DS jumped out from the trees and made a mad dash towards the rocks on the right. NOD recovered instantly and quickly lifted her shotgun, squeezing the trigger rapidly twice.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The shots were fired almost simultaneously. DS took the full brunt of both of them on his back and was thrown forward, sprawling into the ground in front of him. He felt the biting pain rush up his body from across his back where the two huge punctures were releasing blood. NOD walked forward to him and lifted her axe. DS shrieked loudly.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

The axe ripped through DS's neck, almost cutting his head off! He screamed again and grabbed at his neck, trying to cover the blood gushing out of it. His left hand reached for his HPs, as NOD dropped her shotgun near him. The deed is done, NOD thought as she turned towards the gates.


Three team members reached the place where MissM lay, just after the sun went down.

"Jesus, she's in a very bad shape," one said.

The second one pulled the last HP out of her backpack and applied it to her severed shoulder stump.

"Well, let's not just stand here," barked the third. Quickly making a makeshift stretcher using some vines and two big-sized broken branches, they lifted MissM's mangled and torn body carefully into it. One of them grabbed her severed right arm, and off they went towards the gate in a silent procession.

Once inside, they walked over to the Medic Center. Two medics rushed out holding an empty stretcher. They transferred MissM's body, and the one who had her right arm gave it to the doctor who had come out behind the medics.

"Can that be attached back to her?" he asked.

"We will try. We did that to a redheaded guy who was brought in earlier from the Bloodbath Chamber, but he was brought in quickly. Someone else lost their fingers too, and they were not found in time. The body part loses blood, muscle tone and withers off if not attached back within a certain period of time. Simply put, it loses its life and becomes useless. No gurantees in this case too, because some time has passed since it was cut off."

The last Phantom standing quietly looked at the doctor's name tag, before looking up at him.

"Thanks either way, Dr. Neverending. She is pretty important to us and we will be waiting to hear from you on the progress she makes," his voice was strained.

Bwind instantly sprung up and quickly followed the receding outline. He jumped to the left of the boulder and straight at his target. Roshiq looked at him with wide, frightened eyes.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The blast threw Rosh behind, ripping through his groin area. It opened up a huge, bleeding wound on the inner part of his right thigh, VERY narrowly missing his privates. Shit!, Bwind thought. Roshiq turned, clutching his wound tightly.

BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The second shot threw Rosh off-balance, and he went sprawling onto the rocky floor in front of him. The shell made a big hole on his butt which immediately coughed up a lot of fresh blood.

"We don't feel so clever now, huh? Do we?" Bwind sneered.

He took a couple steps forward and lifted his axe. Roshiq turned again, reaching for his HPs. The sight in front of him brought fresh terror into his eyes.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!" Roshiq screamed.

SCRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Bwind's axe swiped across Roshiq's face! It left a deep, gashing cut across his face, stretching from above his left eyebrow down to the right side of his chin. The long cut swelled and bobbed for an instant, before a small spray of blood sprayed out of it.

"Look into the mirror again, and think of me," Bwind grinned, the malice receding from his eyes.

The axe-blade broke into two and Bwind dropped it. Roshiq touched the cut on his face and winced with closed eyes. His hands went around at his HPs.



It's a way too much exaggerating than actual situation!:mad: But anyway, I have noted & will remember every word of this "statement" from now on. Surely it'll work as a supper dose tonic of inspiration in coming days.:)

I've never kept a diary before, but after witnessing the insanity that has befallen my team because of this situation we are in, all fighting for our lives, I feel I must find SOME outlet for my thoughts or I'll go insane, too...If I haven't already begun to descend into the madness unaware.

It's difficult to determine who can be trusted, and who will stab you in your sleep...The paranoia and lack of sleep helps to nurture the insanity...I find myself shocked at how brutal, vicious and heartless my teammates have become, although given the circumstances, I realize that I shouldn't.

I'm seriously concerned about Bwind, the first time he was attacked, something inside his head just broke...He has completely lost it, there's absolutely no reasoning with him or swaying him from his intent, and I am afraid that his bloodlust will cloud his judgement...He now seems to have a single purpose, and I believe that he has chosen a partner in some sadistic danse macabre that will only end when one of them has died...poor Roshiq, I know he's the enemy now, but he wasn't always.

There are so many new people on the island, I'm trying to get a handle on where my novice teammates stand and whether they will be an asset or a liability...No matter what sort of person one is in normal circumstances, situations like this bring out the best and the worst in us, even WE can't be sure what type of people we are until we are faced with something like this...I believe some are shocked at what and who they have become...Some are pleased with what they have found inside themselves, while others are surprised, disgusted or saddened, and some are truly terrified...It would seem that some of us have had demons dwelling inside, which have now been unleashed.

Speaking of demons, GreenDemon showed up on the island the other day, right after Michelle was attacked, and Krell went mysteriously missing...I know that he is here to protect his wife, although I believe Michelle is doing quite well on her own, in fact her brutality has surprised me a bit...Well, not a whole lot, I mean, I knew she could be vicious if necessary, I just never imagined she would enjoy it so much *shudders*

It certainly seems like some strange coincidence that Krell was participating 100%, then suddenly he disappears and no one ever hears from him again, just in time for GreenDemon to take his place, not only on the island, but on his wife's team...It makes me wonder, how much would a husband do to protect his wife?...Hmmm...Could he be more dangerous than any of us realize?

Freak is a good teammate...He has always been there when we need him, and he really came through for us in the hunt, not even questioning the mission, simply doing his job flawlessly...He hangs back in the shadows so as not to call any unwanted attention to himself...He makes a damned good soldier...It's comforting to know that we can depend on him, and his loyalty is truly an asset.

GroundZero is also new to the island...It will be interesting to see which direction he will go in when pushed, and also what will happen when he comes face to face with Saytan...They have a very strong bond...But, can knowing that only one person will leave this island alive, cause that bond to be broken?...Is the love for the person you have vowed to protect, stronger than the instinct for self-preservation?...I guess we will find out...I try to dismiss the fact that I may discover this in an instant, if DudeGuadalupe or DemonSeed take aim at ME...I keep shutting out those thoughts when they try to make their way in, but I probably shouldn't...In fact, maybe it's something that I have to give some serious consideration...Ugh, I just can't...I have to view them both as 'the enemy', as long as they are on opposing teams...And they must also view me as such...This island is hell, it doesn't exactly encourage loving relationships, and compassion can be fatal...My loyalty will always be with my team...And even they will be the enemy in the end.

After putting all of this out on paper where I can actually look at it...I'm thinking that I probably shouldn't be so concerned about my teammates' sanity after all...Perhaps going insane is the easiest way to deal with all of this...We may all be at peace soon - no guilt, no remorse, just mindless killing machines...Will the one person who ends up surviving, truly be a 'winner', or a raving lunatic who has lost it all - friends, family and even his/her mind?

UPDATE


After an intense 9-hour marathon surgery conducted by Dr. Neverending and his medics team, they were finally successful in attaching MissMacabre's right arm back to her shoulder again!

Rejoice, Phantoms!!

The gaping wound on her chest left by Michelle has been duly patched and stitched up too. Plenty of blood was pumped in and skin grafting was done throughout the procedure.

The bad news is, she is still in a very critical condition. And she is still unconscious. It will be some time before she makes her complete recovery for sure. She is in the ICU post-surgery where the medics team is anxiously waiting for her to regain consciousness again. The doctors are also monitoring the health of her "rejoined" right arm to see if it responds and accepts its body again. Right now it is still shrivelled and bloodless.

Not to mention that MissMacabre looks like a cross between Alex Murphy and Frankenstein's monster.

Let's rewind the clocks backwards and see what happened inside earlier...

I did my best to explain to the new players on my team how to do this correctly...If this shooting was caused by one of them, I feel partially responsible for not explaining it well enough, and I apologize

I would like to add, however, that ALL of the new players on my team have turned out to be AWESOME so far, so I don't believe this was caused by them :)

RESULTS OF THE HUNTING ZONE OUTING NUMBER THREE


As soon as the SnD team ran into the Zone, all of them looked at each other with a knowing look. A silent understanding ran through all of their eyes and they all gave an almost imperceptible nod to each other. They then dispersed into various parts of the Zone almost immediately.

They were followed in by the Phantoms, one of them heavily bandaged from head to toe. It was obvious MissM was in some considerable pain and still very weak for this outing, and they all discussed this for a minute before dispersing themselves.


SECTOR A:

Rayne looked left and right through her fiery eyes, gritting her teeth. She was sure her target had headed this way because she had seen it's receding figure. Sure enough, she chanced upon her who was trying to hide behind the big boulder near a clearing. Rayne took careful aim, and fired her Grenade Launcher.

THUNK!

Nightmare of Death whirled.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The grenade landed right at her feet, and exploded with all fury. NOD was thrown back, the front of her shirt simultaneously dripped in a spurt of her fresh, hot blood. She fell heavily on the rocks behind her, and that knocked the wind out of her for an instant. Rayne stared at her with hate-filled eyes, then dropped her now-empty and smoking-barrel Grenade Launcher. NOD reached for her HPs, and Rayne looked at her right and blew a slow whistle, like a signal. By the time NOD had recovered enough to pick up her weapon, Rayne had disappeared.


Demon Seed knew who would be his target. And he also knew he had to act fast. He sat behind the huge yew tree and waited, quietly and anxiously. A white-silhouetted figure broke through the bushes far on his left, scanning the surroundings and apparently limping and having a lot of difficulty in walking. DS knew who it was instantly. He lifted his Grenade Launcher.

THUNK!




Sector F:

MissMacabre turned, and dived back without thinking.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The explosion shook the ground. MissM was unsteady already, and diving back did little to protect her. Several bandages from her body were blasted to bits, and fresh crimson blood oozed through her numerous sore wounds from earlier. She fell to the ground heavily and screamed loud in pain. She grabbed at her last 2 HPs desperately as her eyes strained towards DS's direction. She let go of her HPs instantly, and lifted her weapon.

DS's eyes widened, and he turned to sprint.

THUNK!

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The grenade exploded at the same instant it hit DS's back. His back was torn apart in an instant, as he went flying forward with a loud yell. Thick blood spurted out from his half-blackened gaping wound, and DS screamed as his hands reached for his HPs.

MissM put down her weapon, and pulled out her remaining 2 HPs. She closed her eyes and fell back, Slightly Wounded.


Freak heard the huge explosions coming from his far right. He hurried forward, eager and keen to engage whoever he came across. He stopped suddenly in mid-stride and turned to his left. Someone was rustling through the bushes!

Freak sat down quickly, and peered in that direction. He could make out the outline of a figure slowly crawling on all fours inside the bushes, going towards the opposite direction. He took a couple steps forward, and immediately recognition sparkled through his eyes. He knew he had seen that jacket before!

Freak lifted his Grenade Launcher, aimed, and pulled the trigger.

THUNK!

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The grenade landed on NOD's right, and before she could think anything, it exploded angrily in her face. The skin on her upper chest and neck ripped off, swelling up immediately with thick globs of blood everywhere! She rolled over on her back and sighed, closing her eyes. A weak hand reached for her HPs, and Freak stood up, dropping his now-empty weapon.

Sector H:


Groundzero2424 instantly turned. The explosions sounding off on his far left indicated that some of the hunters had started the hunting. He knew his quarry might head to where he was, so his eyes started running in all directions for a good place to hide.

He didn't have the time, however.

NOD came running into the clearing from his left and stood for a second, surveying the area in front of her. GZ froze where he was, then licked his lips. Up came the Grenade Launcher.

THUNK!

Nightmare of Death heard the ugly sound, and zipped forward without looking.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

GZ had aimed at the spot slightly in front of NOD, so when the grenade hit the ground and exploded, the last thought resonating through NOD's shaking brains was "SHITTTTTTTTT!" She fell heavily to her right, and bit her lips to stop the excruciating pain from enveloping her mind entirely. She grabbed at her HPs and lifted herself to all fours somehow, crawling into some bushes nearby.

Someone else was watching this entire spectacle with wide, red eyes.

GZ looked at the bushes into which NOD had gone crawling through, and dropped his weapon down. A clacking sound near him made him whirl around. Two long chains dotted with sharp spikes came flying through the tree in front of him and locked shut on his flailing arms. GZ looked at them with confusion and tried to free himself, and two similar chains came flying at him and wrapped themselves tight around his legs, the spikes puncturing the skin on his legs and making him bleed profusely.

THE CHAINER dropped down from the tree and glared at GZ, the chains extending from behind it, protruding from it's back. It's chest throbbed slowly and opened, and a long coil of steel came flying out of it to grab GZ's throat. GZ screamed as the razor-sharp chain locked around his neck and caused immediate bleeding.

The Chainer roared.

GZ pulled his right arm back and reached for his HPs in a desperate attempt to heal himself. He looked longingly through wet eyes at the now-empty Grenade Launcher lying on the ground. The Chainer followed his gaze and a smirk broke on it's face. It blinked once, and the chains tugged.

GZ howled loudly. His inhuman shriek echoed around the Zone. The chains pulled outward, and ripped his arms, legs and neck off the rest of his torso in a sweeping motion. His torso spurted blood from all sides and thudded into the ground, and his head fell beside it with wide-open, death-filled eyes.

The chains retracted back, and The Chainer glowered at the remains of GZ. It then heard an explosion right in front, and swung back above into the clump of trees, and disappeared.


SLICE 'N' DICER GROUNDZERO2424 IS DEAD!!!!!



The_Return had heard the explosions from his left and had hurried there. He had come upon MissM who was lying down. Quickly pulling a HP out, he had patched MissM's one remaining wound and had lifted her gently to shake her awake. MissM had opened her eyes and had gratefully looked at Return, before nodding towards the direction where DS had gone flying through. Return had followed her gaze, gritted his teeth and had clutched his Grenade Launcher tightly. He lowered MissM down, and ran forward in pursuit of DS.

The shuffling of feet in front of him made Return set his lips tight with determination. He kept running and following his prey, as was soon onto him. DS was fast, but not fast enough. As soon as they both reached a clearing, Return stopped, lifted his weapon and pulled the trigger, all in one action.

THUNK!

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The grenade hit DS on his back and DS slowed for one flying instant. It was his undoing. The grenade exploded with the might of a huge sucker punch of a trained boxer, and threw DS into the air. His legs were mercilessly ripped, the flesh dropping out and spraying blood into the ground. He yelled.

At the same exact moment, a loud inhuman cry of death shook the entire area. Return smiled in glee, thinking it was DS's cry of pain.

How wrong he was!

The clacking sound stopped near the tree where Return stood. Return froze and slowly turned to his left, lifting his head with rapidly widening eyes. The chains came flying through the tree's branches, wrapping around Return's arms and legs and snapping tight, biting into his flesh and ripping it apart to tear out big cuts all across his limbs. Return screamed in blinding agony, desperately grabbing at his HPs to cover the bruises.

THE CHAINER dropped down from the tree, and glared at Return. The Return's eyes widened in extreme surprise at the sight in front of him, and his jaw dropped. He forgot to scream. The Chainer's chest throbbed again and opened, the final coil of razor-sharp chain flying out of it and clicking tight around Return's neck. Return gave out a final croak, as the Chainer tugged at it's chains.

Arms and legs were pulled out of Return's torso, the green grass of the entire area turning immediately to a bright red, bloody crimson. Return's eyes closed and mouth opened, and it stayed open as his head was ripped out of the remaining part of his body. His eyes slowly rolled backwards, his mouth still open to scream, as his head landed with a thud on the side of his bleeding torso.

The Chainer glowered at Return's remains for an instant, then turned around.


PHANTOM THE_RETURN IS DEAD!!!!!

Sector C:


NOD came through the bushes, her body on fire. She knew she was the target of her team by now, and she was going to pay dearly for her misgivings.

A low mumbling voice came from the tree on her right. NOD wasn't sure, but the words she heard was "necktie...necturn....nickle...its defiantly an n word...." She froze up, and craned her neck in that direction.

Michelle was looking straight back at her! When their gazes met, Michelle smiled and waved at NOD, lifting her weapon up.

NOD took a step back in alarm.

THUNK!

NOD turned.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

NOD never had the chance to run. The explosion made her fly through the air and hit the tree in front heavily, as numerous cuts and wounds opened up all over her legs and back. She fell down at the base, and reached weakly for her HPs. Suddenly she felt emptiness where her left arm should be. She checked in astonishment and saw that her left arm had been ripped off her body! The stinging pain came searing through the left shoulder at that exact moment. NOD opened her mouth to scream, but clamped it shut again. Rustling sounds on her far right made her alarmed, and she peered in that direction. She had no strength left, and was bleeding profusely.


DS came slowly out of the trees. The sight he had seen just now made his legs shake, and he had forgotten all the aches and pains his body gave out for some temporary moments. What the hell was that...THING?!, he wondered. He was so lost in his mind's sights of The Return being ripped into pieces, that he had forgotten where he had wandered into.

THUNK!

The grenade came flying out of nowhere, and landed right in front of DS. He looked at it puzzled, as if not knowing what it was for an instant. When realisation hit DS's eyes, it was too late.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The explosion tore through DS's right leg, shredding it right off the rest of his body! It fell heavily on the right side as DS went flying back, screaming. DS grabbed at his HPs and stole a glance at his severed leg, then howled in immense pain.

Doc Faustus nodded to himself, as if appreciating the shot. He blew the smoke out of his Grenade Launcher's barrel, and dropped it into the ground.



Sector E:


NOD was running out of HPs, fast. She checked her backpack and noticed that she had only 2 left. She knew she wouldn't last long. From where she was hiding, she could see the entire small valley below her. A glint of metal shined through the trees nearby, and NOD became alert.

GreenDemon came climbing through the small bushes, and looked at the hillock in front of him. His eyes wandered towards the top, and right at the Grenade Launcher pointed towards him!

GD's eyes stopped in alarm.

THUNK!

GD took a step back. The grenade landed near his legs.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The grenade exploded mercilessly. GD went down in a heap, his legs ripped off their flesh and fresh boiling blood pouring out of both of them. NOD smiled at the sight and tried to get up, but her searingly aching body didn't follow her mind's orders.


FreddyMyers blinked at the sight in front of him. Yes, that's right, come to me you bastard, he thought grimly. DS had limped into the area slowly, his severed right thigh stump patched up with a huge HP. He reached for the stem of a thick tree and stopped to catch his breath. His body was shaking, a jolt running through it every now and then.

THUNK!

DS jerked up his head instantly.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The grenade exploded with all it's might. DS thudded back into the tree he was leaning on, and roared in excruciating pain. Somehow with a superhuman effort, DS pulled out the last 3 HPs which he had with him to patch himself up, as Freddy looked on satisfyingly.



Sector G:


GD patched himself up the best he could and then looked back up at where NOD had fired at him from. He immediately grabbed his Grenade Launcher and started striding towards the right of the hillock. A small path meandered between the trees towards the top, and that's where he was headed. NOD noticed this, and lifted herself upward. She was not going to stay and be a sitting duck, roasted.

GD had run straight into the path and had disappeared from sight. NOD limped forward, walking unsteadily for a bit before falling down heavily into the ground again, her body giving up. She pulled herself forward on all-fours, and was continuing to do so when GD came upon her from a distance.

GD aimed.

THUNK!

The grenade landed near NOD's right side. NOD closed her eyes, and sighed in silent resignation.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The impact of the explosion nearly blew NOD's body into two. Her side ripped open and guts flew out of it, as she grabbed at the wound and rolled about in pain. She somehow pulled her final 2 HPs out and patched herself the best she could, pulling her guts back in. She lay there quietly, Slightly Wounded and bleeding.

Take that, GD thought fiercely.


DS had limped into this area, and had heard the explosion in front of him. He stopped and leaned on a tall rock nearby. Satisfied that he was alone, he lowered himself and sat down to take a breather.

THUNK!

The grenade came flying down from the top of a tree, and landed squarely near DS's right side.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The ground shook all around DS, and his chest opened up a huge blackened wound which coughed out blood by the rivers! DS's eyes watered and his mind started to numb out into darkness. He lay there, breathing heavily first, then in short bursts. His body started spasming and huge jolts of pain put his nerves on fire. He was Severely Wounded, and didn't have much to go on. Fighting back the dizziness and darkness, he crawled forward.

Sector B:


Bwind22 was creeping up, scanning his left and right then staring forward again. The trail of blood in front of him led into the boulders nearby, and Bwind's grip tightened on his Launcher. He parted some bushes carefully and stopped.

The cave looked dark and ominous! And the trail of blood led right into it!

Bwind squinted inside. He could barely make out the silhouette of a figure inside, huddled in a corner and breathing heavily. Gentle spasms rocked it's body. Then, the figure turned towards him.

Bwind lifted his weapon and fired.

THUNK!

The grenade lobbed near NOD's left side. NOD opened her eyes in alarm for an instant, then everything clouded over.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The explosion echoed around the small cave, kicking up plenty of dirt and pebbles into NOD's face. Her sides and patches of HPs were ripped out again, blood oozing out of them. She was Bleeding, and her mind was shutting off the world around her. Her body had started jerking and going numb, as her right arm clawed at the walls of the cave in sheer agony. She crawled out at a snail's pace, bleeding quite badly.

Bwind grinned, and dropped his weapon.


DS was on his last legs, literally. His strength had gone, and only the grim determination to stay alive was putting some amazing strength into his arms as they pulled his torn body forward.

A silent pair of eyes watched him crawl across!

DS kept crawling, oblivious of someone watching him. He crawled on, straight out of this area into the next, right across the hidden hunter. As soon as DS had crawled out of sight, the hunter was suddenly aware that he had NOT FIRED HIS WEAPON!

Ergh, Despare thought and kicked himself. He grabbed his Launcher and got up to run behind DS.



Sector D:


NOD had crawled out of the cave somehow, holding her ripped body together. She couldn't crawl far though, and came to a stop near some bushes. A shadow fell across her, and the pointed barrel of the grenade launcher was aimed right at her face!

NOD closed her eyes, without even looking at who her attacker was.

The shadow took a step back, and pressed the trigger.

THUNK!

The grenade lobbed out, and the shadow sprinted back some distance away.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

NOD's final thoughts were "Sorry for not..." Her brains broke off her thought processes as the cruel explosion of the grenade blasted her head apart, ripping it open and splattering her brains right across the bushes. Her legs stuttered for a bit, her single arm rolled for a moment, before the rest of her body calmed down and lay still.

Straker dropped his weapon, and yelled out a huge warcry.


SLICE 'N' DICER NIGHTMARE OF DEATH IS DEAD!!!!!


DS was crawling with all he had left. He had no idea where he was headed, but kept crawling forward. Soon the ground gave away to sand, and then to soft wet mud, interspersed with small rocks. A boot crunched on his outstretched hand and DS winced. The barrel poked at his head, and he lifted his head.

It was the last sight DS was destined to see.

THUNK!

The grenade came out of the barrel and thudded into his face, falling right below DS's chin.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The might of the explosion blasted DS's head into bits, splattering chunks of flesh, blood and brains into the rocks and mud around him! The figure walked forward and kicked his still-jerking body into the water next to it, and DS's body was slowly caught into the current and floated away to some unknown destination.


PHANTOM DEMON SEED IS DEAD!!!!!


Fiend Skull watched the headless body float away, and turned back. Despare came running through the bushes straight at him.

"Where did that bastard go?" Despare gasped breathlessly.

"Where do you think?", Fiend replied then nodded towards the river.

Despare gaped on, lowering his loaded Grenade Launcher. Fiend took one look at him, then walked forward.


In the stillness of the night, all the surviving hunters had gathered near the Gates. Despare looked sullen. As the deadline ticked over, the windows in the watchtowers opened and the snipers trained their rifles straight at the two groups!

BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!...

The shots kept resonating all around the still night.

I also wish there would of been more communication within the team,I felt there wasn't enough, especially this round.I didn't get one PM asking if I had any answers, or if I needed help or anything. There was no hidden discussion or anything like that, just for the record. I shot you just because I didn't know who else to target and you missed the last challenge. Wasn't anything personal and there was no discussion I was aware of on who to target, just bad timing.

The Body Snatcher, The Virgin Spring, Them!, Repulsion, Night of the Living Dead, The Burning, Cannibal Holocaust, Tenebre, The Dead Zone, Bringing Out The Dead.


There are 360 points up for grabs in the above challenge.

I start on the scoring in a bit, but with the overwhelming amount of info in each PM I can safely say all of you will be scoring heavily...

In other news, Dude Guadalupe was caught red-handed while stealing jellybeans and root beer from BR III's kitchen!

According to him, the crime was done in a fit of boredom.

But he will not be spared from any punishment. The guards have thrown him into the dungeon till the Deadline.
