There has never been a rape scene since that focuses on the JOY of raping someone like this film. THAT'S what makes the film perverse and brutal.

Have you seen Sin City then? Thatīs a BRUTAL film I can tell you, much of the rawness lies in the dialouge then.

what is it about clockwork orange that makes thirsty for milk. its the antithesis of kingpin in that respect.:)

i'll just have to take your word on that one my friend. my tipple of choice is an ice cold glass of caffeine free diet coke. on topic, i prefer 1984 (much more disturbing than clockwork) as a commentary on the future. closely followed by logans run.

It's not as disturbing as it was on it's first release, but the entire madness to the film remains just as intact as it was 30 odd years ago. The amount of characterisation in that film is nothing short of incredible, and the message gives to the viewer is still as evident and relevant.
