Fangoria's Blood Drive

Anyone seen this? I watched it tonight. It's the 7 best horror short films from the thousands submitted to Fango in a contest.

They were generally pretty good, considering the budgets they were shot on. I really liked The Hitch and Song of the Dead! But the rest were pretty cool too.

I think anyone who appreciate some good low budget should check it out. The whole thing is only like an hour long, so the films run an average of 7 or 8 minutes each.

It would also be a good idea generator for independent low budget film makers.

I bought this when it first came out. My suggestion....rent it.Like you said they got thousands of submissions, so I can't believe they put that stupid short with the guys fingers. There is some good extra stuff with Stan Winston and Clive Barker though.

I kinda like this package the only one I didn't really enjoy was the musical zombie number at the end. The Hitch hiker one at the star was pretty good and I thought the finger one was funny as hell with a huge nod to the severd hand in Evil dead 2. The best one was the doll one it had some pretty neat special effects and camera work.

The extras of Stan winston and Clive were really cool and being able to watch Clive Barker paint was really neat.....theres also a couple of easter eggs just play around with your remote.

I loved it...Song of the Dead was definatly a highlight!
