i just want to know why he did it, i can't fin d any spoilers for this film anywhere.

he didn't have ANY motive. it was a stupid 80's slasher. don't get deep on toolbox murders. just don't.

Remember the guy who built the place made all that extra hidden space. He might have planned to use it all along. They don't really go in to motive in the movie though, do they? Question: why do you want a motive? It's all murder.
