Elm Street: The First Kills
I've heard some rumors about this and I think that with the right story line and directing that it could be a success and it sure beats the hell out of another remake. Still the odds look bad for it, considering there is much more talk about Ash VS Jason VS Freddy which is an obvious recipe for disaster and I do mean in a bad way. Has anyone heard anything on this? Cause all I have heard was some stuff from Robert Englund interviews. I really like the Evil Dead movies but Ash just shouldn't be pitted against these two, and I think that the whole VS thing worked for Freddy VS Jason but adding more and more people to the mix waters it down considerably. A prequel to Nightmare On Elm Street I think would be much better, as long as Freddy isn't portrayed as a child molester or anything.

i haven't heard anything official about a prequel or fvjva but there's been a lot of talk around here. i personally would be open to either of them. if they suck, well shit, i'm disappointed. but maybe they'll be great, and isn't that an exciting enough thought to make you want see them happen?

i also think that a prequel for this movie is unnessecary, i mean they explain exactly what happended to him in every sequel, plus they showed what happened to him in the beginning of freddy vs jason.
also one more thing iv'e been getting alot of heat recently for insulting Ash, now don't get me wrong i think Ash was good, but only in the Evil Dead franchise, i really do not want to see him go one on one against freddy and jason.

I agree Ash really doesn't belong in the NOES or F13 series. Ash is cool as hell but it just doesn't seem like the right thing to do, they just don't go together. I'd rather see new updated sequels to each rather than yet another merger, not that I didn't love Freddy VS Jason.
