Hey...
So yeah, I've been away for a bit. I'm not sure how long actually...
Thing is, I had a near death incident happen, I'm not about to discuss what it was...It sucked, but it's all good now. When you think you're on the way out, you get to thinking, working out your priorities, and the things that are really important. The things came up with were all pretty simple, nothing earth-shattering, but things that in the time I wasn't sure how everything was gonna turn out, there was alot of contemplation going on, and these simple things I was thinking of (things that one can overlook whilst in good health) turned out to be the things that mattered to me. My little brother growing up without my guidance, my woman, the friends that I don't see much yet had so much more to say to, my many pets. Nothing material ever entered my mind...well, honestly, I DID think it'd suck not to see what kinda games they'd come up with in the next 20 years or so... So yeah, just feeling like I should pass something on - Common courteousy is a good thing that should be afforded to everyone..If life is all we get, it'd be cool if everyone gave it to eachother, it may never happen, but you doing your part might make a huge difference to a persons life, they may need that more than you'll ever know, or be likely to find out. It's hard not to judge some people...but when I was in my time of contemplation, it came to me that you never fully know somebody elses situation. Pets. Trust me - get a dog, a cat...whatever makes you feel comfortable. They'll comfort you through thick and thin, which is why everyone should treat their animals with the same dignity as you would a friend - that is what they are. Try to be cool with everyone around you, listen until it stops making sense, then start asking questions, and if the two of you can't meet in the middle, you've just had a lesson in negotiations. Put aside differences while you still have the chance, dwell on nothing, what's already happened can't be changed, and isn't worth the dedication of your attentions, the future however, is. So...In light of all this: To those with whom I've had differences in here, if any of you are still here, handshakes all around. There was somebody in here I actually said something really fucking insensetive to a little while ago (you know who you are, and this will not be open to discussion for anyone who was not involved), I regretted saying what I said when I saw things from a different perspective. To you, I apologise, and thankyou - it helped me think... To those who have ever given me a conversation, I consider it a gift, I hope you all know I value your friendship greatly. Guys, Do a first aid course!!! - Even if only a basic one. THIS SAVES LIVES. That's pretty much it... Oh hey...also realised that my girl was without doubt the one I wanna be with forever, we don't have a plan...we never do...but uh, yeah - we're gonna get married, just thought I'd mention... I'm still kinda getting over all this, so I'm not gonna post a whole heap, I just thought I'd say Hi to everyone and let y'all know I'd be back soon. *END RANT* ;) - B.

Wow...Cheeba?...Is that REALLY you?...I don't know what happened to you, but it certainly must have been one hell of an event to bring you to this epiphany...I hope that all is well, now concerning this incident...Thank you for all that you have shared with us here...Congratulations on your impending nuptuals:)

Hey Rayne...yeah, It got pretty scary for a while, but as I said, it's all cool now. Thanks for the congrats - like I said, makes you realise (or rather, hits you in the face like a hurled brick) what's most important. And having the person there with you the whole time makes for a pretty easy decision.. And - Hi nv, nice to meet ya. I guess a guy gets all like "that" when it seems there might be a time limit on things...I swear, in the ?week? I was "up in the air", It seemed like I got a few years thinking done...If ANYBODY in here appreciates, or can benefit from what I've said, that's cool, it was my intention. hEY NEWB, I'll edit this in, I just saw ya post... They're pretty wise words huh? (Your mother gave you something good to take along with u) I've never believed those words more. It's so cool to realise that your current set of priorities are absolute bullshit, and then you get to live to fix 'em... Seriously, since I found out everything was gonna be ok, I've just had what feels like the best 2 days of my life.

Can relate, same thing happened to me a while ago, but as time goes by, you tend to slide back a little into old patterns. Thank you for the insights, you sound very grounded. Also congrats on your wedding to be! Wish we could all be there for you bud!:D
