Insidious 1, 2, and 3

I didn't watch Insidious. The trailer made it look like there's a lot of slow pacing that would not be interesting and too little supernatural stuff seen in the film. However the 3rd one looks like it'd be fun. Thoughts on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd films?

The first Insidious is my favorite movie. I've seen it a bunch of times. The second one is also really good. The third one, along with Unfriended and It Follows, is my most anticipated movie of the year. What I like about the series is that it's not just some generic haunted house movie; it actually has a mythology and story behind it.

Its good, I wouldn't say mind blowing. Its a huge fan of the jump scare. The story is good and its pretty trippy. Its worth a watch.

Crimson Peak should definitely be on your list. If you haven't heard, its going to be amazing. Stephen King prescreened it last week and said it is terrifying. That's saying something.

Im really excited for it. I love Guillermo Del Toro's style, he builds incredible scenes and imagery.

Crimson Peak did not look that great to me, shrug. As for Stephen King, he'd say anything is terrifying. Its like 50% of horror books are recommended by him. Not to say that's bad, just not a reason to value his recommendation. I will probably see it though, i've been wrong before.
