Movies you would like to be remade and why

The title is pretty self explanatory here. I would like to see remakes of movies that have a lot of room for improvement. here are just a few that pop into my head.

The Card Player (2004): I bought this movie for one reason, and that reason was Dario Argento's name of the box. Before I watched It I saw that it was one of his lowest rated movies. While I was watching the movie I thought it was alright and the imdb rating was a bit low, sure the dialog was far from great and it had some unneeded comedic scenes but I still thought it was alright. then the last 15 minutes happened and i understood why. It's really a shame because I loved the concept, but it was executed poorly. I would lose the comedic moments, completely rewrite the dialog, and completely change the ending including the killer's Identity. Also add some blood.

Surf Nazis must die (1987): This was one of those movies that as soon as I saw the title and that Troma released it I knew I had to watch it. I was really disappointed by this movie. The biggest sin for a movie with a title like this is for it to be boring. The boring slow motion surfing sequences are both far too long and far to frequent, And what I thought was the main story (leeroy's momma) was tossed aside and instead the movie focuses on uninteresting characters. I Would get rid of all the other gangs and just focus on the surf Nazis, Make Leroy's momma the main character because she was the best part of the movie, and add more action sequences, and lose about 90% of the surfing footage.

The Man they could not hang (1939): This movie had an interesting idea and has one of Boris karloff's best performances. The last act of the movie was a bit of a let down. The basic plot is that Karloff's character was sentenced to death because of a medical experiment interrupted by the police that resulted in a death. He later returns with the help of his assistant via his experiment and lures the judge and the jury to his house which has been filled with deadly traps for his guests. Very few of the guests die before the ending, and I think it could be taken a lot further than it was.
