Thank you Hammerfan,
What would you say is the most popular genre/era of horror around these parts?

We have a diverse group of people here, can't really say there's any one particular genre or era that's the most popular.

I'm partial to the old Hammer Studios (of course) movies with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. I don't care for what I call "slice-n-dice". I'd rather see monsters/creatures/spooks, etc.

Thank you HF,
I'm also a Hammer devotee, actually most horror between 1960 and 1980.
My user name is a tribute to Peter Cushing's character in Twins of Evil.

Welcome to horror.com. My interests lie in slashers (hence the moniker) and Gothic and neo-Gothic fiction.

Hi and welcome!

I'm known around here as The Duchess.

I love the Universal and Hammer horror films through the ages, the sci fi's of the 50's and many modern films as well..

Good to meet you all,
Thanks for the welcome. Think I'll fit right in here:D

The Villain : I love that pic of Dr Gogol in your sig, has to be the creepiest image in all of 30's horror cinema.
