Authors Wanted

Hello,
I am the owner of Nephilim Press. We are a small press occult book publisher and we recently decided to branch out into Horror fiction. We are accepting submissions and you can email a sample of you writing to [email protected] with submission in the subject area. You can also go to our website www.nephilimpress.com and check the authors wanted tab. If you have any questions for me feel free to email at this address. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.
Frank Redd
Owner Nephilim Press

PS: We are not a vanity press. We don't want your money.

How generous is your definition of "dark occult fiction"?

You mention no terms, what rights you purchase... no details at all.

With respect, how could he discuss details of terms. Terms are discussed with a writer who's presented a finished product his company wants to publish. Only then are there any details to come to terms on. The gentleman is sounding an open call for horror fiction submissions and inviting questions. He's also given his web address so interested parties can see what they publish. I would guess he's interested in authors willing to demonstrate some initiative. No offense, but as a published author, and former Rondo and Lord Ruthven Award nominee (so I know something of horror writing), I think it was nice of the editor/publisher to stop by and make the open invitation. Just saying.

Most reputable presses will list their standard terms in their guidelines page. When someone hides this information, it makes me wonder what they don't want people to know.

Questions

I will be happy to answer any questions you have on the forum here for all to read. I am not trying to hide anything. Ask away. Oh and the reason why I didn't post anything on here about terms is I find it better to keep it short and sweet so that people will read the entire post. You were directed to our website and on there given my email address to send any questions to. Anyway what are your specific concerns?
