My username is based on that character from the Play The Ugly Duchess by Janet Munsil.
The character is based on the very ugly midieviel monarch of Tyrol named Margaret Maultacsh. She was very ugly but highly desired for a political marriage. The ill fated Gothic and highly desired ugly monarch is usually played by the playwright's husband. I based both my username and a costume on this character.  Uploaded with ImageShack.us That is how both my username and character came about. THE DUCHESS
