I thought the first CG Resident Evil animated movie was going to be far better than the live action movies. It was so so. But I'll own it cheap one day. I'll watch this as a lead up to RE6. But I'm not expecting much. Resident Evil missed an opportunity to tell a really good horror story with both the games and the movies. I vaguely remember that a scene in the first Resident Evil is setup like the house in the Night of the Living Dead remake. Resident Evil 1, 2, 3, and Code Veronica are top class horror videogames. As good as RE4 is, that is where the story jumped ship for me.
