Hey guys! just thought I should drop in and introduce my self, i'm Jack and I do like some horror movies so I thought this might be the place for me!

Thanks guys. I also had a question that requires some horror fan expertise. I am a independent film maker and i'm going to be making a horror film in the near future here, and it takes place in a dystopian world where all cosmetics are banned throughout the world. Three girls are chosen to test a new government cosmetic and vie for the position as the Most Beautiful Girl in the World. but they soon realize that the if they take too much of the cosmetics they start going insane and one girl actually does. She pretty much destroys anything that comes across her. But what I am trying to do is find some films that I can draw from visually so I was wondering if you guys had some films in mind that I could watch, or heck just some great horror movies.

That's a tough question because I have never seen anything like that before. As for just a good horror movie to watch, I'd say check out "Let Me In", if you haven't seen it. Maybe you can pull some inspiration from it. By the way, what kind of feel are you looking for your movie to have? That might help people recomend something suitable.
