Which Horrorfest movies are good?

The only horrorfest movie I have seen is The Abandoned... Now that there have been a handful of Horrorfests, there's a pretty big selection of movies and I'd really like recommendations that separate the good from the bad. I enjoy all types of horror films as long as they are effective and well-made.

Thanks in advance - my Netflix queue is miserable right now so I'm looking forward to seeing some of these!

I made it through all of the threads and based on my tastes and the reviews, I chose this line-up for now:

Dark Ride
Penny Dreadful
Unrest
The Deaths of Ian Stone
Mullberry Street
Borderland
Crazy Eights
Autopsy
Dance of the Dead
From Within
Lake Mungo
Kill Theory

It will take me quite a while to gradually rent all of these from Netflix, but once done, I may go back and watch some of the movies I've skipped. If anyone thinks there's a true gem I've left out, let me know!!

And thanks to everyone who took the time to post reviews in the original Horrorfest threads!

-edit- I forgot Frontiers, I'm starting it now since it's available for instant watch.

remove Crazy Eights

I didn't like From Within either but some enjoyed, maybe you should check out the trailer and decide if thats something that might interest you, i found it rather boring.

add Dread to that last

and if you like "Invasion of the body snatcher" type film check out The Broken

Borderland = average as fuck

Dance of the Dead is pretty lame too apart from R Lee Emery

Might give Dread a watch over the weekend, I loved the short story so I'm keen to see what they do with it.

Quite a few of them I haven't seen yet either. But of those I have seen I think these are the best.....

Lake Mungo
Dread
Reincarnation
The Hamiltons
Mulberry Street

Worth a watch.....
Hidden
Autopsy
Borderland

I've seen that whole list you mentioned, Ian Stone was OK. But Penny Dreadful was annoying, I really have zero intrest in most of Horrorfests movies at all.

DREAD was the only one worth watching and it was, oddly enough, not just enjoyable, but really good.
