Thumbs up Books on Famous Horror Directors

I wanted to start this topic since I'm a media studies student and I'm presently writing my thesis on famous horror directors or 'masters of horror'.

I've just found these 3 very interesting books on Dario Argento, Romero and Carpenter, published by Kamera Books, and thought that some of you might be interested in them as I am.

Dario Argento, by James Gracey, who will interview the director next month, is very good and exhaustive. There's a sort of competition on this website: http://www.squidoo.com/DarioArgentoBook
where they chose the best questions and ask them to Argento. There's also a brief interview to the author, who's pretty sound.

Of the same publishing house there's a bio/filmography of Carpenter

and one on Romero:

Finally there's a new book coming out, that's all about Asian Horror and looks very good, and maybe some of you could be interested in it:

I personally think that the style and layout of the books are very simple and effective, so that they're pretty easy to read and extremely interesting, so they could suit fans and not strictly students like myself.
Plus, they're pretty cheap on Amazon, so it's worth having a look! Enjoy!

So now publishing houses have joined film production companies with the phony "hey I just discovered this new (film, book whatever) and you should check it out, here's where you can buy it" type of message board marketing.

Don't act like movie people. We're better than them.
