It uses a vampire story to generate a whole discussion about evil... Which is portrayed as an addiction, as the title suggests. By the way... It's a vampire movie in which the word "vampire" is not mentioned even once.

edit : think i've seen it after all. it was all very philosophical ( i think the main character, lili taylor, is writing a thesis on evil or something ) and i was tired... lost me a bit ! lol didn't really find it to be a vampire movie.

Yes, that is precisely the movie I was talking about... Though I wouldn't say it's a vampire movie, I like the innovative way in which vampires are used there...

true, the vampire backline was well used, but all the psycho-babble crap... kant and heidegger... oh gosh !! made me hate my philosophy classes all the more ! just got a tad boring, imo.
on the plus side : some gore... always good !!!!! lol:D

Well, I'm working on my master dissertation on philosophy, maybe that's why I loved it soooooooooo much... But I must agree with what you put on the "plus side", I guess... LoL
