An Ozzie rules team used to come here once ayear to play a Dublin team in a mixed rules match (dunno if they still do it) - it used to be murder. Really dirty stuff.

I think you ar refering to International rules...

Australia V Ireland a mix of Aussie rules and Gaelic , they called it off a few years ago coz we were literaly beating the shit out of the Irish and thier coach said no more...

Then they brought it back last year and Ireland won the 2 game series by a couple of points on agregate. It has been going since the 80's, it's great fun to watch, but I heard recently they are going to oficaly end it in 2 years.

If Ireland hadn't of pulled out I would have been able to See it live at Croak Park, but as they pulled out for a year they skipped thier turn... now I don't get to see a gaame in Ireland...

Do you watch the Gaelic Ferox, it's a fun game.

They used to do ok in the 80's as I remember but in recent times the Ozzie guys just looked so much bigger and more athletic.

Actually (outside of combat sports) I don't watch any sports. I do live right beside Croke park too (it can be a pain around match and concert time).

I do kinda have a huge amount of admiration for the Hurlers though - mad cunts taht they are :-)
