I couldn't find our old "off topic" thread...

...and I don't know why I'm making a thread about this except I just need to vent a little. My Grandma died Wednesday, and I haven't really ever lost anyone this close to me, so I'm not dealing too well. And I think that with all of the other things going on right now certain people around me are expecting me to blow it off and get on with things that I need to do right now, but it's hard. It's like after the first day I haven't had time to stop and be sad. I'm in the middle of packing because I am moving back home Friday, and it really sucks because I'm leaving early so I can be at her memorial service on Saturday. So I can't really be happy about going home like I was before because I know she won't be there. And she was so excited for us to be close too. She was crazy about my little girl.

Anyway...just needed to let loose for a sec because tomorrow it's back to packing. I hate packing:rolleyes:

That's rough Marroe, my condolences. You'll never just "get over it" but it will become easier through time, just make sure to take the time to let yourself grieve, it's important.
