Finally got to see Neil Young!

....and it fuckin' ruled, the dude tore it up! It was at a festival so I spent most of the day waiting watching shitty bands but the wait was definitely worth it.
Great set mixing old and new tunes. Highlights for me were Cortez The Killer, Mother Earth and Cowgirl in the Sand. He did a mean version of Keep On Rockin' In The Free World and did a Beatles cover for the encore before ripping into some destroying free noise. One of the best shows I've ever been to if he's touring your area GO CHECK IT OUT!

Yeh the guys has amazing energy truely lives up to his line "Rock n' Roll will Never Die". Totally blew me away to say the least.

I'm guessing he would've played a longer set if it wasn't at a festivial.

I hope I get to see him play with Crazy Horse sometime those guys really bounce off each other and jam things out. I'll have to get my hands on the live DVD Year Of The Horse that Jim Jarmusch directed. Wore my tape out awhile back haha :D

Good for you, Elvis.
He was scheduled to play here in November with Death Cab For Cutie but rescheduled the show for this spring.
I can't fuckin' wait...it will be my 2nd time seeing him.

One of the first albums I ever bought was a Neil Young album. Amazing that he's still rocking. I would love to see him live.

Man, I'm a fan of his entire catalog. Some of my favorite albums are Harvest, After the Gold Rush, Zuma, Time Fades Away, and the live record Rust Never Sleeps.
