Alien vs Predator (not strictly horror)
Apparently the filmmakers want to make it a PG-13. Which means no gore and so no great fight scenes between the predator and the alien queen. If it turns out how I expect it to with this age rating, then I will be very disappointed at the waste of a great idea.

I think it would be nearly impossible to make it a PG-13 movie. All the other Predator and Alien movies are R rated.

There is hope if for no other reason than it is being made by paul w anderson who did resident evil and manage dto get that an r rating, therefore saving it from complete suckdom.
Of course, he also made Event horizon, so draw your own conclusions from there...

Fox wants to keep it a PG-13 as they want to open up both the alien and predator series to a new audience, so they have a new frasnchise. So expect lots of sequels. Lets hope the first one is really good.

wow if this is PG-13 then i will be very disappointed.
also they're trying to aim for a PG-13 rated doom movie too. now if that happens then i probably want even go to see it.
