Real Life Scares

Doubt anyone has noticed but I've been away for a while. Two good friends of mine were in a serious car accident. An SUV hit them on the drives side. One is all right, all she has is a broken jaw but the other won't be back at school until next fall. He has to learn how to walk again. For a while no one knew if he would make it. I was terrified. Anyone else with similar experiances?

Yes. A penis in the jeans zipper incident.....
COOLEST. SCAR. EVER.
Other than that...some surfing accidents have been pretty fucked, only one myself, but I've seen a lot worse.
And one of the most scary/sad/fucked experiences I've had is seeing a cat (Beleive it or not, a NICE cat) going into a seizure and dying - knowing it was goind to happen, and being right there, unable to do anything about it. The worst thing about it, for some reason was seeing the cats pupils dilate all of a sudden...Losing a pet always sucks bigtime, but seeing one die....not even in the same ballpark.

I've been in a few car accidents. A few months ago a tractor tailer lost it's whole wheel which plowed into my car.

When I was sever or eight an ignited bottle rocket landed on my neck.

Yep, watching your cat die pretty much beats all else on the suckiness scale.
