I love how this looks...totally want it.
Apparently the original cast will voice it, and I think I remember reading that Bill Murrays dad (I never saw caddyshack so I don't know who he is..) plays a character in there as well.

Alyssa Milano would be the new love interest (Dr. Ilyssa Selwyn) for Dr. Venkman in the upcoming Ghostbusters game, recently acquired by Atari.

Favored by the ghosts and ghouls and from this video, they seem to want to get inside of her. In a take over your body and soul type of way.

Ghostbusters is coming out June 19th coinciding with the Ghostbusters 25th year Anniversary.

It is being released on The Nintendo DS, Wii, PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and the Playstation 2.

The game is being written by original Ghostbusters writers Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, and has all 4 of the original Ghostbusters back together.

I used to have the C64 game of the original film back when I was a kid. GB2 on the PC was pretty cool too.

Trying to walk under the bouncing Marshmallow Man at the end?

(Shudders at the frustrating memory)

Hadn't seen that opening. I'm really looking forward to this now..

I remember 3 ghostbusters games.

The one I played least was on Sega Master System - You got a top-down view or a birdseye map and had to drive location to location. You controlled 2 guys, one to set the trap one to use the gun thing, had to do enough jobs to get some meter up that would allow you to go to the final stage...I never even got half way.
I think this game sucked.

The one I remember the least of was a Ghostbusters game at the arcade, it was a bit like commando/ikari warriors. It was ok but seemed just like another clone of the aforementioned titles with the GB name stuck on.

The one I actually liked had NOTHING to do with driving around etc, it was the 16bit version that came out for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis. Totally different game, and a very cool, and pretty challenging platformer...this one was just great fun, I remember I was in second year high school, me and this dude stayed up for ages trying to finish it, ha, we never did. Got around to it years later. Thank you emulation...

The new one just looks great, what more can you say...?
