Not directed at Vod directly here, but to bloggers in general-
Don't start your blog with a post that says- Hi, I'm just an average guy, and um, I'm gonna write about some stuff, when I figure out what.... Come out with your guns blazing. Would you read a book that started like that? Would you come back to a blog like that?

I'm going to have to disagree with Neverending here, I think you should have an intro, Vod. It can be a short one, but I think you should state your intent. What are you going to be writing about? Will it just be about guns?
