Arrow Favorite era of Horror

What's everyone's favorite era of horror films? I prefer the 80s where the exploitation/video nasties were everywhere.

I have to agree the 70's were good but the 80's took it to a whole new level

the 80's. seems like all the good horror flicks i've seen are from that era ( along with the late 70's ), but then again i was just a kid...

Yeh the magority of my favorites came from the 80s everything kinda turned to shit after that. The 70s had some gems too of course it was probably the genres most defining point.

The Eighties!! By the far, the winner of the horror era has to be the eighties. Senseless gore, endless slasher flicks, pathetic acting, terrible scripts and laughable plot lines. Those were the days of horror. I lived in fear of Freddy getting me. I was sure Micheal Jackson was a werewolf. And the fashion was the scariest of it all. ;)

wasn't the Djinn in the 90's?
I like the 70's exploitation horror stuff, plus the ones like Exorcist and Alien
