Season of the Witch with Nicholas Cage!

Nicolas Cage is to re-team with Gone in Sixty Seconds helmer Dominic Sena for a supernatural thriller about witchcraft. Based on a script by Bragi Schut Jr., Season of the Witch casts Cage as a 14th Century knight travelling with a girl suspected of being the witch behind the Black Plague. His job is to escort her to an abbey where the monks are trained in exorcising demons. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will shoot in Austria and Hungary in November. Cage is currently working on the film version of hit comic Kick-Ass, while he also has sci-fi thriller Knowing and cop drama Bad Lieutenant in the can.
