I'd like to take the time to create a thread to recognize __V__ for what he's done.

When I composed the first HDC list (Official HDC Top 100) I thought it would be a one time project. These things take a monumental effort and an extreme amount of time with the only reward being that of the appreciation of the board. They usually involve several days worth of Excel cut and pasting, plenty of research, and, if you go with judges a long process of either starting and keeping a board just for the project or sorting through hours of email.

If you don't go with judges, it usually involves mathematical acrobatics that would constipate a tax accountant. Not to mention the searching and gathering of pictures, campaigning for blurbs, presentation, etc.

So thank you, __V__, for carrying on a great tradition in my absence. I hope the board members really appreciate the job you have done with these lists.

Now folks, let's help flesh these out and make them true masterpieces by contributing some blurbs for these hard debated choices, eh?
