The Psycho Legacy

For the past year, Robert Galluzzo - who runs horror website Icons Of Fright - has been producing an extensive documentary on the PSYCHO franchise titled THE PSYCHO LEGACY.

Today the site hosts 12 minutes of footage, which covers all four PSYCHO films and features PSYCHO alumni Hilton Green, Tom Holland, Andrew London, Jeff Fahey, Lee Garlington, Katt Shea, Donovan Scott, Kurt Paul, as well as filmmakers Adam Green, Dave Parker, Joe Lynch and many, many more.

Rob G is a good friend of mine and he busted his ass on this documentary. It looks great and I'm really happy for him!

Just in time to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic, Robert Galluzzo’s documentary chronicles the entire PSYCHO franchise—including the original movie, the sequels, the remake, the TV movies, the Robert Bloch novels and more.

The two-disc DVD debuts October 19.

Take a look at the second trailer -

THE PSYCHO LEGACY includes interviews with the writers, directors, cast & crew involved in all the PSYCHO films, as well as various professionals currently in the horror industry whom were inspired by PSYCHO and its sequels.

Here’s just a sample of the interviewees:
Anthony Perkins (Norman Bates - PSYCHO I-IV),
Hilton Green (AD - PSYCHO, Producer - PSYCHO II-IV),
Tom Holland (Writer - PSYCHO II),
Robert Loggia (Dr. Raymond – PSYCHO II),
Diana Scarwid (Maureen Coyle - PSYCHO III),
Jeff Fahey (Duke – PSYCHO III),
Charles Edward Pogue (Writer - PSYCHO III),
Mick Garris (Director – PSYCHO IV),
Henry Thomas (Norman Bates – PSYCHO IV),
Olivia Hussey (Norma Bates – PSYCHO IV),
Stuart Gordon (Director – RE-ANIMATOR, EDMOND, STUCK) and
Joe Lynch (Director – WRONG TURN 2).
