Hi there..Questions about Sigs?

Hey just joined this forum and it looks good so far..

I was just wondering is there a guideline for the size of signatures (both imagine size and file size)?

I looked in the faq and saw nothing there?

From what see anything under 2megs seems ok - i was thinking of making an animated gif for my sig..

Anything that you can upload at photobucket will work, but try not to let it be ridiculous

Actually...Anything bigger than MINE would be pretty ridiculous...As, mine is kinda too big :p

I can do it for you.

Mention your choice, or a pic which you would like as your avatar.

Post it here, and I ll make it into a decent avatar size.

I'm not sure how V does it, he must be magic

When the admin 'updated' the site, he changed the pixel size to 150x150 so we could have larger avatars

But, he obviously left out a number or something when changing the file size...Just a mistake, but there's no one here who can correct it...Even though it would only take a few seconds...

jpeg is a compressed image, but you can always change the compression setting with a decent graphics package.

as for image size, was it a mistake? i'd say no, avatars are saved within the forum database so bigger avatars = larger database.

I'm still calling it a mistake because almost no one can get theirs to fit anymore...AND...The ones we used before the 'upgrade' don't fit NOW, even though the pixel size was increased from what we had before...

Larger Pixel size + Smaller file size = mistake (to me)

And...I forgot to mention that ZWOTI can work this magic, too :)
