www.tv-links.co.uk shut down, owner arrested

In my opinion, I don't agree with them arresting him. Now hear me out. I'm not condoning what he did. But, all he did was linking. How come he was arrested, but the sites he got the videos from, such as google video and veoh, haven't been inspected. They're doing something even worse. They are the source for the piracy, not this man's site. I can see why they arrested the man, since movies that are currently playing in theaters are on his website (though this is common on the internet). But, I don't think they can crack down on links of old tv shows. Sure, the links might hurt new shows like House and Lost, since there ratings are missing. But, people viewing shows like Kenan & Kel can't be hurting ratings, since they're no longer on TV. And, some of the shows on his site are not only not on TV anymore, but they're not even on DVD yet. So sales can't be hurt either. I say, release the man and the others responsible, and reopen the site, with a few changes. Movies be extinct from the site, but old TV shows and music videos stay on, since they're not hurting any businesses. Your thoughts?

I was wondering if he got shut or what.I used to go there and watch alot of tv shows that you couldn't easily find.

Same here. I loved that site. It wasn't working for me, so I put it in the google search engine and got that. I was saddened.
