I used to buy all my metal on record back in the day, before cd's came out. To give you an idea of how long ago, i had Morbid Angel-Altars of madness on record when it first came out. I own alot of 80's music on 45's/"12" inch and lp, but i don't really get vinyl now, unless i buy it from a record fair. I still have some metal on record though.

I have a ton of vinyl and hit garage sales for more all the time

Grabbed Queen's FLASH GORDON album in pristine condition at a yard sale for $2 last weekend:D

Thrift Stores are good for them. You've just got to take the time to look through all the crappy polka and barbara Streisand to find the good stuff. I got Blondie's Parallel Lines for 50 cents, really good condition.

I love the vinyl. if there is ever an option of buying vinyl or cd, I always opt for the vinyl (like at shows).

I'm not a collector, though. I only buy stuff I'm actually going to listen to.

I'd like to get into it....mainly on account of the quality music I've seen at seconds stores for ridiculously cheap prices...I probably wouldn't get into it until I had a combination system though.

I do like Vinyl - some things just suit it.

I have most of The Birthday Party's albums on vinyl, as well as all of AC/DC's earlier stuff (up to Blow Up Your Video).

Quite a few Beatles albums and singles.

Other miscellaneous stuff.
