I enjoyed it but there were a few Stephen King-isms. SPOILERS!!!!!
OK, first the way he ends up back in the room the 2nd time is dumb. It should have happened b/c he listens to the tape recorder, or falls asleep and wakes up back there. The way the film did it felt Stephen King phoney. And what was with that masked guy attacking him? We see that guy on the ship in the painting but what about some story or explanation? And didn't it seem like some stuff about his Dad got edited out? They really foreshadow that relationship and then only have just that one tame scene involving his father in the wheelchair. Something was missing... And that fridge scene was dumb... But I did like the whole buildup of the beginning, and Samuel Jackson was superb...
