PS3 Prices?
Just wondering how much you guys in the states are currently being charged for a PS3 console. I understand you may have got it slightly earlier than we did (23rd of march here), and my country is notorious for keeping consoles more expensive than elsewhere.
The current price, as it has been from the launch date is $1k AUD, which is $836.20 USD. So...am I right? Do you guys get it much cheaper? Just wondering if it'd be worthwhile buying the console and games from abroad...

They cost 599 here in the states, but no matter how much they were I still wouldn't buy one.Is the blu-ray dvd player just so amazing that it's worth that much?The answer is hell no.There is no dvd player worth that much not now not ever.I don't even see what the big deal about HD tv and dvd's is.I mean do you really need to be able to see so clear you can count the hair on a guy's head two miles away in the background?
