Yeah definately looking forward to it :D

I'm all for mass production of comic book adaptations, but only when the movies are good. Hulk and FF1 were let downs. FF2 looks like it could be quite good though.

X-Men trilogy was okay, nothing amazing. Let's hope Iron Man is done well. :)

Robert Downey Jr. Forges Iron
Source: USA Today, the reel chris April 26, 2007

The USA Today has published an article on Jon Favreau's Iron Man movie that includes a new photo from the film. Here's a clip:

"We didn't want to just go with a safe choice," Favreau says from the set of the film, due in theaters May 2, 2008. "The best and worst moments of Robert's life have been in the public eye. He had to find an inner balance to overcome obstacles that went far beyond his career. That's Tony Stark. Robert brings a depth that goes beyond a comic-book character who is having trouble in high school, or can't get the girl. Plus, he's simply one of the best actors around."

New Iron Man Armor Revealed!
Source: Entertainment Weekly May 2, 2007

Entertainment Weekly has revealed the Mark III costume from director Jon Favreau's Iron Man designed by Oscar-winning F/X guru Stan Winston.

Opening May 2, 2008, the comic book adaptation stars Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges, Shaun Toub, Leslie Bibb and Bill Smitrovich.

"This is a decidedly adult superhero story," Favreau told the magazine. "Robert was very bullish on wearing the suit whenever possible. "Now I don't know if he's such a fan of that idea."
