read this and see what you all think. Em pissed that other ethnic groups..are allowed to start clubs such as this and nothing is mentioned..but to start a caucasian club and its deemed racist. Whats wrong with her wanting to start this?? She should be supported like all other ethnic clubs are.. if this is shunted..then so should the others. (em not caucasian..but i don't see any problem with this) :mad:

we have 4 million sheep :o story is..this 15 yr old girl wants to start a caucasian club at her college ..and yes..in America. She's interested in the her history..thats all.. She has the support of many fellow students..from all races but she copping flak from adults and is being labelled a racist. Theres a latino club..an Asian club etc...so why not a caucasian one as well.?

There is a real world outside your doorstep. If you REALLY just want to revel in your white heritage, get OVER it...the odds of you having a direct lineage is almost impossible, so why not just be happy being you, and join a chess club?

I see no problem with making it and personally think that it is only fair.
Wanna know the kicker? If we make a Caucasian Club, we get pelted for being racist, yet, who is calling us racist? That is a racial remark as well just assuming that all caucasians are racist! And may I ask you, why is it that a non-white person can call a white person a "cracker", but we can't call other races by their "bad name", whatever it is????

Racism is stupid & so is reverse racism. This chick should sure as hell be allowed to start this club if she wants to because we have this thing called the Bill of Rights and it guarantees Freedom of Assembly. Of course she'll catch flack for it though... Jesse Jackson is probably already banging down her door.
It's the same kinda thing with BET though. We can't have WET (White Entertainment Television) because that would be racist, but an all black channel is fine. It's fuckin' stupid.
